Week 14, Week 14 was the last week before Harvest/Havrest! I flushed the plant and trimmed her a bit before harvest. I hope you all enjoy the videos and the pics!

Looking stunning and have so far remain short and stocky. Did plenty of defoliation and will scrog them for fat colas. Flipped the switch and week 1 flower is in the books.

This week Went very uneventful. Reduced the fertilizer down to 600ppm and flushed twice on Wednesday and Thursday, on Wednesday I still had 100ppm in the tank after the second flush it went down to 0. Kept her in darkness until Friday night and then started chopping her down.

I chopped. Fuck it. I need some more energetic high as well. When I was chopping I compare it next to fat banana. Defo clear trichioms and Fat Banana was all cloudy. Let the dry-period begin. I put that bitch inside dehydrator for few hours. Crispy buds, maybe little over-do but damn that smoke is sooooooooooo smooth, the high is soooooooo gooood. I put it inside the jar, will update on smell and taste in next few weeks. Day 5/6 curing? That shit is so good it's almost gone! The high is 50/10. 1g of that stuff makes me more high then 5g of stuff you have to pay 60 euro for. Creamy buttery vapor like freaking French toast with real butter or like croissant but without anything, just plain croissant but not the shitty one, the best one. Jesus... that weed is just too good, I have no idea why it turns like that. I thought Fat Banan gonna be bombastic but Critical turns out to be winner.

The plant continue to grow incredibly strong and fast from now on I well slow down on grow nutrientes cuz the leaves are very dark green and we are well into flowering meaning they don't need that much not nitrogen anymore. Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow.

[ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.

Ok guys so she was bushy again and so we did defoliation again. You can see the difference and then after that started flowering even more Plus the fact we are increasing the amount of molasses added to the soil plus the floranova bloom nutes. They are very thirsty girls, taking around 1.5-2lts per 48 hrs So almost like a 1 liter per 24 hrs Very good SoG to make them feel even more comfortable Going to change schedule from 24/0 to 19/5 and see if they evolve! Thinking about adding some humus to the soil as well, other than that they have been under good conditions Temp is steady at day time around 24C top and night time is 18-19C minimum RH around 45-60% Mostly 45% control environment with AC Cant wait to see big colas coming soon! Día 77 y final para esta Wedding Glue que ha brindado unos frutos hermosos!. Manicura y cosecha para posteriormente secar y curar estas densas y rocosas flores bañadas en brillantes tricomas, fragancias dulces tipo torta cubren todo el ambiente y una pegajosa capa de resina me impide abrir mis tijeras con facilidad, realmente una sabrosa cosecha! Volveré después del curado para dar un informe de cosecha detallado. Buenos Humos! 👽

Came in well and has officially sprouted! I put it in soil and the hanging pot I'll be using for this grow. It's a small ~.5 or less gallon pot (tbh not 100% sure), thay I'm reusing from a plant I got at a nursery a while back. I thought it'd be neat to try and grow a hanging weed plant so now here we go! Will post when the sprout comes out

This is by far the largest autoflower that I have personally had the pleasure of growing. She is in full on flower as shes heavy pre flowering and has an awfully wonderful smell. I may end up setting her out in a greenhouse at some point as shes so much taller than all her friends and sisters. Done some LST, maybe too much lol ( I’m still learning). Topped all 4 successfully . Finally feel like I’m getting some where I have learned a hell of a lot just from these few weeks. This is the first time I’ve ever done any type of training in a strain and photoperiods so I’d rather focus on learning than just yeild.

11/29/22: Just switched her to flower about 4 days ago and started with bloom nutes.. was struggling with ph again past few days trying to level out again seeing some signs of lockout so flushed her with water and lite cal-mag she is looking better today.. she's really starting to stretch out hoping my tent is going to be tall enough with light hanging but we will see.. this is actually a pretty tough plant to grow but I'm gonna get her..

Just because i realized im not really providing info about my potted grow but I have been using Mother Earth coco plus perlite i added worm castings, bat guano, n vegetable garden 4-4-4. just p.h'd water at 6.50. once in flower i would water with a diluted solution from my dwc and PPM under 200PPM.

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. Veg15, han crecido como 2 centímetros desde el transplante, aún no necesitan riego, desde ahora regaré cada 3~4 días, cuando el sustrato este un 80~90% seco, han estirado un poco desde que subí la distancia del LED y bajé su intensidad, mañana haré Main Lining. Veg16, hoy se torturaron las plantas con Main Lining, se cortó arriba del segundo nodo y se cortaron también las hojas de un dedo bajo el primer nodo, las plantas que tenían suficiente crecimiento de les hizo LST también, cuando se apague la luz se efectuará un spray foliar con B-52, y mañana un nuevo riego. Veg17, riego con 5.5 pH y EC 1.8~1.9, se regaron con 1.5 litros y no se obtuvo drenaje, próximo riego tendrá que ser con más cantidad de agua para obtener drenaje, el agua se calentó a 23 grados y se oxigenó antes de regar, mañana se ajustará el LST ya que siguen creciendo muy bien. Veg18, hoy solo se ajusto el LST, siguen creciendo bien. Veg19, ajuste de LST, nada más que anotar. Veg20, siguen creciendo, talvez hay que ajustar la cantidad de luz DLI. Veg21, tuve que poner una estufa para aumentar la temperatura en el indoor y bajar la intensidad del LED a un 50% para alcanzar un DLI óptimo. Hoy haré ajuste de LST y revisar la humedad del sustrato.
