it's always a pleasure to do business with Barney's Farm!!! They have never let me down even once!! Even in the worst situations and conditions they have always been able to bring out the best for me!! I really enjoyed forcing these plants to see their reactions, but I wouldn't do it again as a technique because it only serves to keep the canopy low but not to increase the yields...or...at least in my case I didn't find it of fundamental importance....maybe a simple cut of the apical top and that was it! but that's fine!😋

Day 57, 05.06.2024 - Starting the next week of flowering which brings me up to 3 weeks until harvest - There will be watering & nutrition today. I expect the plants getting more and more yellow as they approach their lives end Day 58, 06.06.2024 Today I learned: Double-check for open vents of your tent should be mandatory! "Well, isn't that obvious?" you might ask and yes - I guess it is. But not to me :) Background: I was struggling with a) getting the humidity down and b) keeping the smell in. Turned out I forgot to close the vent behind the charcoal filter which lead to venting air from the outside to the inside & of course sucking smelly air out of the tent. However, since this issue was fixed, there is no problem with smell or humidity anymore. Others than this there was no action today. Day 59, 07.06.2024 - removed 2 yellow leafs - Another round of drinks for the girls (600ml with 4/4/4ml) - sit back and relax Day 60, 08.06.2024 No action today, but the BioBizz CalMag arrived. I will give it tomorrow to them. Day 61, 09.06.2024 A round of drinks with nutrition (4/4/4ml Grow, Bloom and TopMax) and also (first time ever) 1,2ml.of CalMag. Leafs showed signs of certain deficiencies so I decided to use it. Let's see how this turns out! Day 62, 10.06.2024 No action today. Day 63, 11.06.2024 Water & Nutrition (4/4/4ml Grow, Bloom and TopMax) for the end of the week. I am looking forward to week number 10 which should be the second to last week of this grow - I am quite excited!

At this point I'm checking the plant for signs telling me it's time to harvest. I think I'm getting pretty close at this point. She is putting out a strong smell and has a sativa structure with tall and dense flowers. I fed a really heavy compost extract this week with calmag and Golden Tree. Process/ Environment changes: - turned off one Ts1000 yesterday when I cut down the blackberry auto - humidty set to 45-50 % RH I'm on auto pilot at this point and I'm looking forward towards the dry and cure phase. I have purchased 1 gallon glass jars to cure the flower in. I have also purchased 2 way humidity pack to help keep my cure on the right track. I will go in to detail about my process when the time has come to dry the flower.

9/7 Day 7 Things are ok watching Jen closely and dropping PH slowly from 6.8 to 6.0 by the gauge (no more dye... yea) to see if its a lockout. Lowered lights to 24 inches as I am seeing a bit of stretch. Just learning how to use the light in absence of anything approaching instruction :) Folks I like this light, so far... awwwwright Transplant time coming up in a week or so, be getting the pots ready with a full wash of nuets just to get things rolling in the soil. 9/11 D11 Transplanted to five gal pots, soil is mix of 707 with 1 tbs Recharge , 3 tbs Dolimite lime, and 5 tbs Happy Frog Guano Culture , Watered with feed of Kanga/Fish Mix/Big Bloom 0.5 gal each Staying on 24 hr lights till end of week 9/14 D14 Finishing the week up with a feeding Fish Mix 1 tsp/gal Big Bloom 1 Tbs/gal for 2.0 liters Lights now on same timer as the CBD - 20-4

In Italia i cambiamenti climatici sono molto evidenti, questo mese di maggio è stato come aprile cioè pioggia incessante ogni giorno e temperature pazze con sbalzi assurdi ma nonostante ciò le bellissime dutchfem autofiorenti continuano a crescere in maniera abbondante, rapida e compatte. Ero preoccupato per il terreno troppo bagnato ma per fortuna non hanno minimamente stressato o rallentato la crescita di queste varietà autofiorenti così adatte ad ogni esigenza. Alcune sono già in pre fioritura e massimo tra dieci giorni la fioritura sarà evidente. Il meteo migliorerà tra una settimana circa e quindi con il caldo estivo forte italiano queste varietà non faranno che fiorire in maniera massiccia come ogni anno saranno risultati indimenticabili soprattutto in outdoor biologico. Alcune sono state morse da lumache che spesso tentano di mangiare le foglie ma non hanno ottenuto nulla, queste piante si difendono bene. I nutrienti a lenta cessione è risultato inutile con la pioggia incessante si è sciolto subito ma non è un problema perché il terreno è molto equilibrato e nutrito da anni. Verranno nutrite a fioritura inoltrata,per ora crescono abbastanza rapide e non hanno bisogno di ulteriori attenzioni. Hanno circa sei internodi alcune quindi la fioritura magica a breve inizieranno tutte insieme come una sinfonia musicale!

Day 35 Flowering: A great week for bud growth this week. Sadly only on the Amnesia Haze with the Red hot cookie and the Afghani Delicious ambling along beside her. They will be a smoke able end but not worthy of the strain due to their issues early on. The buds have been thickening out on the Amnesias stems perfectly , she has approx 20 good, lengthy mains that are producing new pistils daily in abundance. It is a pressure to watch her fattening out andnher smellnis so sweet now too. A definite fruit with a lemon twist to it. The l.o.s has struggled to keep up with her huge feed demands and I am now using megacrop to feed her. Her leaves are starting to show a darker green re appearing now so should keep her energy flowing until the finish. she is getting a lot of trichrome production going now and has a nice frosty appearance forming too. I love this strain so far and it has been a pleasure to grow. She is starting to really push the terpenes out too and smells so sweet with a lemon twist to her. A nice tacky feel when she is handled shows she is putting oils out too now. With approx 3 weeks to run , she should beba beauty at her finish. Be Safe amd well.

📆 Semana 9: Debido a las altas temperaturas, tuve que cosechar la Mimosa Auto cultivada en el sistema hidropónico, ya que no soportó el calor. Los cogollos quedaron densos y resinosos, con tonos anaranjados en los pistilos que indican su madurez. El perfil aromático se mantiene complejo, con notas cítricas y terrosas que prometen potencia y sabor. La otra Mimosa Auto sigue en su ciclo, creciendo fuerte en sustrato, donde el ambiente es más estable y controlado, lo que le permite continuar desarrollándose con buena salud. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Hello. This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of flowering. Man! I got spider mites. I haven't had to deal with them in years. It's a good thing I have a bit of insight and bought a Hypochlorous Acid maker. I was watering the plants 6 days ago and saw some minor spider mite damage. I got my device up and going with 1 gallon of water and 2 tsp of pure salt and 3 tsp of white vinegar. It ran for 45 minutes and it was done. The device turned that into Hypochlorous Acid. I posted the article I read, in last weeks pictures or the week before that. So far I've sprayed twice and I don't see any more leaf damage. I've still got 3 or 4 weeks more till harvest so I'll keep watch and spray some more. The acid is supposed to knock out Powder Mildew and aphides too. I'll have to try it on my zucchini plants that seem to get PM each year. I'm getting some yellowing leaves on the bottom too, which is normal. We've had no rain for 3 months now and I'm out of rainwater so I'm using dechlorinated water. I fill up 5 gallon drinking water jugs and let them sit around for a few days to dissipate the chlorine. Hey everyone! Week 2 is going well for these ladies :) Day09: The two Auto Somango Glue seem to be happy, healthy and are growing strong. The two Auto Afghan Skunk however, showed a weird claw-like curl on their second set of leaves. They're still growing and I don't see any kind of discoloration on those leaves, though. I've been watering sparingly, 0.5L every 48h approximately, so I'm thinking they may be stressing due to too much light...? I brought the light inensity down to 75% and raised it 10cm yesterday to see what happens. The Auto Afghan Skunk 1 is already showing signs of improvement. Hopefully the other one will too - fingers crossed! I'm just guessing honestly 😏 Any suggestions would be welcome and highly appreciated! ---- Day 14: I've definitely overwatered these girls. I was following my instinct based on my experience using HID lights, which generate a lot more heat and cause for 1. plants drinking more and 2. faster water evaporation. Of course LEDs don't genrate as much heat and I need to adjust my watering habits...! 😏 Should have payed closer attention, but hey, you live you learn right? Luckily growth isn't stunted and the two Somango Glue keep growing strong :) The two Afghan Skunk seem to be suffering a bit more from overwatering, but they're showing signs of recovery so I'm confident they'll bounce back 💪 The girls got a 200ml watering on day 10 and didn't get any water since then. Waiting for the pots to dry out some more before next watering. I turned off the fan inside the tent so the girls can have a little more heat too. Week 8 of Flower 🌸. Trichomes are milky . Going to keep these ladies going one more week and just feed them water with a little molasses . Excited about harvest . But the buds aren’t very dense. Even thought they are pretty big . So I’m guessing the yield won’t be as big as it looks .

The plants fully recovered from light burn are putting up a nice show .. well grow. They are all still very green, and the buds are fat with a good density. All three start some kind of foxtailing. All the buds, top, center and bottom on the three plants produce extra flowering sites that protrude from the bud. Now, hopefully these will fatten up until harvest somewhere in two weeks from now. I'm keeping a close eye on humidity and temperature in order to keep the bud rot at bay!

Great finish to a fantastic run with this cultivar! terps were citrusy gas and sweet earthy. the smoke is thick and smooth with a earthy sweet and a little gas flavor. very nice. made some gassy smelling dry ice sift hashish. Never throw away your trim!!! it's the ultimate bonus to any harvest. this was a combined White Truffle and Trop Cherry Gas hashish. Finished up with 12 ounces of flower and 36 gr hashish

Pests The amount of sciridae increased a lot (as expected, because the population should be about to collapse), but I also noticed that they were being accompanied by exactly 1 premature spider mite (drop in RH). Because my environment seemed to fall out of an equilibrium, I thought about using fine quartz sand (0.1 - 0.4 mm) and nematodes to hinder the adult Sciaridae from laying eggs and also actively hunt for their larvae, while being able to get back on watering regularly... In the end I actually ordered those - but decided not to use them because the process of drying out the substrate was already in its final stage [foreshadowing: bad idea]. Plants Also, the variegated plant got cellular damage... most likely because my temp. and RH varied too much (VPD and temp. spikes were too extreme and rapid). [Variegated plants in general are less resilient and need a more stable environment]. Setup Until now, I didn't use any fan so that I could keep the moisture and temperature up, but from now on, I will start to activate an exhaust fan at about 0,5 -1 air exchanges per minute. This should homogenize the environment but also decrease the temp. by 1-2 K, and the RH yet again by another 10%. It also allows the plants to transpirate more efficiently, and with that, normalize the VPD. Living Soil In general, when the pests are in control, I will yet again focus on the 'right' environment rather than battling those pests. With this approach, I can keep the moisture content in the tent the way I want to without worrying about anything else.

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.
