Hi growmies. Hope we are all well and still sane?. This week has been another roller coaster for the ladies. Amnesia Haze has gone crazy with growth this week. She has taken over 25 L of water this week to cope with the heatwave we are having. It has been up around 24°c just before lights off at 12pm. I am glad i decided to use the nights for the lights on period now. I did lose the 5th node on the Amnesia sadly but the remaining 4 nodes are little powerhouses of growth tips. She has also reached the pots edges after i supercropped them earlier in the week. They had bounced back by the next day .!!!. I love this strain so far.. The remaining ladies havevhad to cope with some issues this week. Heat and light intensity from the new Mars at 100% power took a toll on their chlorophyll production abilities. I have since dropped the power by 25% and raised the light a little too. The yellowing has not worsened and new growth below is looking good so far. The worse affected was the Red Hot Cookies but now they both look settled root wise , they have improved the last few days too. I did a pH check and got 7.2ph so I did use some ph down to drop it to 6.0. There is a huge difference in the 3 girls and it is shocking to see what just 2 weeks germination gap can cause. I do know the NFT can catch up once it gets its roots into the matting more. Fingers crossed we see some improvements this coming week.. Be well.

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. 12/18 Day 57 from flip. I’m starting to see signs of fade in leaves now. I also reworked the nute schedule again as these girls are showing signs of too much nitrogen still. It’s a little scary being down to 1.0 EC, but clearly raising everything to hit 1.3 EC is too much. Even with that though both phenos look spectacular. Pheno 1 seems to be the stand out with loads of frost and a fat bud structure, and even some hints of purple coming along. Pheno 2 still looks great, but with a more conventional triangle shaped bud structure and with more conventional levels of frost. Both smell great and are mostly the same. Buds seem very dense, even down low. 12/21 Day 60 from flip. Buds keep getting bigger and frostier. I can tell some stalks are beginning to lean a bit due to weight, I’ll probably need to do some tie offs soon to keep them upright.

Week 2 of flowering was a major turning point, with the plant stretching heavily while developing a very bushy structure and a large number of bud sites. I performed supercropping on the tallest tops to control height and create an even canopy, along with a heavier defoliation to improve light penetration and airflow. She responded extremely well, showing strong recovery, high water demand, and continued vigorous growth. Bud formation is still in the early pistil stage, but the structure suggests a high-yielding plant with many evenly developed colas.

Flying to flowering stage

Hi Growmies I hope your week had been as productive and fun as mine and that your flowering is progressing. It has been a very easy week to manage their needs. Nicely set and with lots of light per plant , we have a lot of clusters of pistils throughout their whole structure. Keeping the humidity lower now is helping to reduce the risk of bud rot with so much vegetation and fresh pistils to feed it. It will also help raise the oils needd within the girls to keep them supple amd attractive to those buzzy friends they hope to attract. The smell of sweet pineapple is so strong in the room now and their stickiness from resin is really starting to show itself now. It is evident that the plagron products have had a substantial effector the progress now with so.mamy sets of flowers lower in the canopy too. Seeing other grows of the Biscotti not using the products , there is a difference in node lengths between flowers without doubt. The flowering plants are nice and stocky compared to most of my previous grows sonit has been easier to keep them well within the lights sweet spot With just 2 weeks left that will hopefully be the adding weight and second flowering sets kicking into play too , a good yield could be on the cards. I do seem to have 2 phenotypes off the Biscotti running so it will be interesting to see how they differ at the end for yield etc.. I have added a small greenhouse heater to bring the temp up a little and help with the humidity control too as we are experiencing a very cold snap again in good old Blighty. Journal de culture - Semaine 3 de croissance La plante a bien repris sa vigueur cette semaine, développant une belle masse racinaire, ce qui est très encourageant. Elle continue de se développer et je m’efforce de la maintenir la plus basse possible en utilisant des techniques de Low Stress Training. J’ai essayé le pinching, qui consiste à pincer légèrement les extrémités des branches pour les courber. Cela permet de rediriger les hormones de croissance vers les parties inférieures, ce qui maximise le développement des pousses. J’ai également effectué une légère défoliation en enlevant quelques grandes feuilles superflues. Pour le reste, je surveille principalement le pH. J’essaie de le maintenir autour de 5.8, mais avec les tampons présents dans les produits Terra Aquatica, il remonte régulièrement à 6.2. Je me demande si ce pH légèrement élevé pourrait être à l’origine d’un problème de coloration des feuilles, car la plante semble présenter une légère carence malgré la présence de tous les nutriments nécessaires. Je fais attention à ne pas ajouter trop d’acide afin de ne pas surcharger la solution nutritive. Globalement, la plante est en bonne santé et continue de bien évoluer. Je pense passer en floraison d’ici une ou deux semaines maximum. Étant donné qu’il s’agit d’une variété Jack Herer, qui a tendance à beaucoup s’étirer en floraison, je préfère la maintenir encore un peu en croissance pour travailler tranquillement avec les techniques de Low Stress Training et la défoliation. On verra son évolution la semaine prochaine ! 🇺🇸 Grow Diary - Week 3 of Veg The plant has regained its vigor this week, developing a strong root mass, which is great. It keeps growing, and I’m trying to keep it as low as possible using Low Stress Training techniques. I’ve been trying pinching, which involves lightly pinching the tips of the branches to bend them. This redirects the growth hormones to the lower parts, maximizing the development of new shoots. I’ve also done a bit of light defoliation by removing some large, unnecessary leaves. Other than that, I’m mainly monitoring the pH. I’m trying to keep it as close to 5.8 as possible, but the buffers in the Terra Aquatica products keep raising it to 6.2. I’m wondering if this slightly higher pH might be causing some discoloration on the leaves—it feels like a deficiency, even though all the necessary nutrients are present. I’m cautious about adding too much acid to avoid overloading the nutrient solution. Overall, the plant is healthy and continues to grow well. I’m thinking about switching to flowering in a week or two at most. Since this is a Jack Herer strain, which tends to stretch a lot during flowering, I want to keep it in veg a bit longer while working with Low Stress Training and defoliation. Critical purple #2 is now in week 6 of 🌸 the other 3 are in forth week of 🌸. This will most likely be critical purple #2's last update as she will be harvested this week hopefully! No big changes this week from last besides Pineapple auto #2 is still not happy and critical purple #1 is thickening up nicely! Hello my friends, ...June 14, 2022..Day N°84.. ...Flowering day N°38... My 2 Feminized Runtz Gum, 2 Feminized zkittzy Gorilla and 2 Feminized Banana Sherbet are fine and they growing healthy. The flowers developing very good. I gave them water with some Hybrid and Booster powder from Green House Feeding and some Cal-Green from Metrop. Esta es una genética de un olor muy fuerte y pesado se siente intenso desde la vegetación , es una variedad muy resinosa con unos colores morados hermosos , probando las flores cuando terminó el secado y ahora curando las flores se siente un sabor terroso , al principio no me gusto ya que nunca había probado este , pero después al seguir fumando se siente un sabor final muy agradable. Well the pas week has been a lot! We had some dehydration issues, did some defolitation, and additional LST to prep for flower. Starting today, this plant has been kicked into the flower tent and will be starting its journey! Before we went to flower, I gave this guy 1tbsp of Dr. Earth tomato blend. this strain is amazing!! I loved growing it, despite very slow growth and very small internodal spaces, it is very resistant to stress and topping!! it revealed itself in flowering with pretty compact buds, a smell of bugs (yes, bugs!!), with strong notes of grapefruit, gasoline... no waste in the taste!! I recommend, I will grow it again
