This week has gone well again really impressive the growth on this lady starting to shape up nicely no problems. The smell is slight but getting stronger each day. Very sour grapefruit peel springs to mind and some signs of trichomes other than that just keeping it nice and steady 👍🏼

Day 7-9: Had a good environment overall, although the light was probably much too high. I didn't realise until quite late that it should have been 60cm above the seedling, and I had it around 120cm at first, and then 80cm. As a result the stem is a bit stringy. Day 9: I lowered the light to 60cm above the plant, and it won't go any lower. the recommended for this light is 30cm above the canopy, according to this very useful article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-far-grow-lights, but it's still in seedling stage and I'm guessing the plant will grow up a bit more, and I can always lower a little bit more. Also it's pretty damn hot, so I don't want to overdo it on the lights. I've been keeping the water consistent and just topped up a little on recommended nutrients (more grow, a little micro, adding a little bloom as it comes closer to flowering). The reason for this is because I want to maintain the consistency of environment and monitor the plant for any signs of unwellness. Because Sativas are sensitive to nutrient burn, I'm being conservative in this respect. The temperature with the light lowered is a steady 26 C, and I'm maintaining the humidity at around 70%. This is pretty good for this strain, as a sativa it likes higher temps and humidity. The water pH is around 5.9, also desirable. I've also been wondering if the plant is getting enough CO2. Is it necessary to buy a measurement device and some CO2 bags? Overall the plant seems very happy and is looking healthy. Day 10: cleaned the inside, added more grow, added more clay pellets since she looks a bit thin and stalky and needs extra support, and there were not many pellets present. Light distance is currently around 60cm. Though it won't go any lower with the straps, I will look at lowering it more with some extra rope as the ideal height will eventually be 30cm for this 250W HPS light. Added more Ph buffer yesterday evening and we're currently sitting around 5.7 ph. I was aiming for 5.8 but this is still acceptable. Temperature is around 25 - 26 C, humidity is around 70%, though I will begin lowering this as she grows. I will probably replace the water sometime this week. Upon further investigation I realised that my water levels were too high, and were possibly suffocating the stem. I reduced water levels by a few cm since I had previously been topping up without realising possible damage. I feel like today is the day that this seedling is finally becoming a plant. She has grown some long roots already. Day 11: I further lowered the light to around 40cm using some extra string. It's not super ideal, but for now it's ok. The plant was falling over it's own weight so I added some extra pellets around it for support and it seems to work. I'm hoping she won't stretch as much now that the light is lowered. The inside fan is still on and on full power to build up extra stem strength and keep temperature down. I'm attempting to keep humidity around 60%, a little lower than before. The temperature is significantly higher with the light lowered, easily maintained by periodically opening the door and leaving in cool air from outside which runs just past the intake fan. I'm slightly concerned about the Monstera Deliciosa plant which is sitting just opposite and above the intake fan. Would this have any effects, positive or negative, on the grow? Google is coming back blank on this.

This Xtrakush keeps surprising. What a vigorous plant it's a pleasure to grow. All week we've seen huge bud formation and shes filling out. Only the last day growth has stunted a little. I think it was heat and I was pushing the light to its max. She seems to recover and I might have lost a day or two of growth. Her roommate, the Orange Hill Special, outperformed her a little in bud development. It was my mistake and this sort is made to grow outdoors in N European conditions. When we push for the limit, it's logical we find or sometimes go over the edge. Thank you for checking in this week, Im getting more and more impatient to see these plants develop and the harvest. Easy week of just watering every 2 days. Buds are really starting to swell and become frosty. I picked up a digital microscope to look at trichomes and they are beautiful. Not 100% confident at determining where the trichomes are but most of them still look clear so I still have a couple weeks. Feel free to let me know or correct me I put a photo of the trichomes up. Almost Chop Day for wa girl MS PURPLE! ✂️ The last few days were all about that flush life runoff nice and low, just how we like it ✅ She’s been an absolute tank from day one, taking almost everything thrown her way like a champ 💪🏾🔥 By the end of the week, most of the buds turned purple, most of her fan leaves faded to yellow, and after a solid trichome check..mostly milky with just the right touch of amber. Nailed it 🎯 And the smell? In the end : 20 g of dried weight but had a really nice high even when I harvested it 2 weeks ago. First grow and one of the best bud I grew in last few months. Learned a lot from this, also started with another plant of the same strain a month ago indoor.

This is the last week. Getting the chop in t minus 1 day! Its been a really fun learning experience and my new grow is already looking way better from learning from my mistakes!

It was a rough week for the girl. We had bad weather this past week very high humidity and lots of rain. I also dealt with some powdery white mold which I was able to get under control by using baking soda and water and removing lots of leaves. The buds are much more dense and the trichomes are starting to turn milky. Ideally I would have liked to keep this plant in the ground one more week but we have more nasty weather coming so I will be most likely be pulling this girl in the next three days. It has been about 11 days since I have given her any nutrients and she has received a lot of rain water. I pulled some of the lower branch when I found the PWM just in-case and I have those dry right now.

Hey fellow growers welcome back for week 7 update of my criticalpurple and pineapple auto grow! So the only real update to the grow operation is an air conditioner install! Which has made a major change in the climate and my girls are very satisfied with their new lifestyle!! Bud production is on the increase! I also installed pot elevators under all my ladies as suggested by Papa_T. To help get some air flow under the pots to prevent root rot. I just installed these tonight so I'll let yall know what I think of them. I also had to purchase a new Ph meter because I dropped my old one in the mixing bucket(of course)! So if you read last week it was a all water week. This week I threw the nutrients too them after a deficiency. I was fed up with deficiency problems so I wanted to see what they would take! The girls seem to love the feeding! Also the deficiency is neutralizing. So I've only had the one feeding this week. I will be watering tomorrow. 10/18/21 5ml- calmag 4ml- micro 6ml- bloom 1/4ml ph down Ph 6.35 Solution temp 73.1F 1003 ppm Still alternate feed/Water every four days at 1gal/plant. I'm going off of pot weight mostly but it seems like a gal every 4-5 days and they are happy with it. Critical purple #1- So this lady has turned into a power house! She was slow in veg but quickly has recovered! She is throwing on the bud quick! She is going to be a heavy hitter! To me she seems to be filling out and her aroma is starting to join in with her 2 week ahead flowering sister! She is also my 🌟 of the week for the second week running! Measured 28" tall Critical purple #2- Boy oh boy is this shorty packing some heat! With this being this little ladies 4th week in 🌸 The aroma this lady is throwing out is intoxicating🤤🤤!! She is showing a few amber pistols but tricomes are clear and still developing I'm still thinking about three weeks out. She won't be plucked till ready! I can promise that! Measured 18" tall. Pineapple auto #1- So big week for this lady also as u remember from last week I was pulling the tape off Sunday well I waited until Tuesday 10/12 giving her a whole 9 days and I would like to say my girl is knuckled up👊! She has recovered saving my future bud site. I know this is small for more seasoned growers but for me this is a major stepping stone. Other than that bud production is chugging along. Every day this girl is still filling in her part of the tent. Measured 32" tall. Pineapple auto #2- This lady has been my focus factor this week. She was suffering a nitrogen, magnesium deficiency with some possible light burn also. But she is recovering after some cal-mag. I will prob give her cal- mag every feed/Water till flush from here on out too keep her stable. Even with the deficiency she is still producing bud so no signs of stress at this point. It starts to smell creamy tropic fruits, very smooth, i can smell the notes of Gelato im so excited even over fertilised she has terps ?

Day 58 - 07/02/20 About 70% or more pistils are amber and ive harvested the inner stems of the plant yesterday and today and trimmed it all down to individual buds before putting it in the net to dry for a week :) The inner stems had such thick and dense buds on them that it was blocking some light from the buds on the outer stems and preventing them from reaching full maturity. They are now getting all the light they need for a few more days during the flushing week. I will also be reducing the light from 18/6 down to 12/12 this week as its not possible for me to isolate the plants in total darkness for 72h. I was told that no light right before harvest will mean more THC production, any time i knock the lights back before harvest my buds always look frosty and covered in trichomes. I cant wait until i have a smaller veg tent and another tent so i can isolate the plants for the full 72 hours. Anyways i had a little problem over the last 2 weeks with my PH pen being cheap and nasty, it constantly needs calibrated but still its doing a basic job and preventing more serious PH issues until i get a replacement. i also think i might have flushed the plants at that time before calibrating the PH meter and they were not happy about it :) Everything looks okay now in my tent and im just giving this one only Phed tap water until harvest :) I added a few photos of the Cayenne pepper plants harvest, the pepper plant was in one of my older grows i think maybe my first... could be the quick one diary, with minimal care and a little water i grew some monster peppers, i wanted to give them thier own diary but im not sure how GD would react hahah. so i posted them here, These peppers were all grown under the same light in the exact same conditions as i grow my weed with no bugs 🐜 or problems with mould, id strongly reccommend giving it a go and use up that grow space, especially as its bad for the environment to indoor grow! make the most of it folks! Anyways happy medicating for this week and check out my other diaries if you all get time :) Day 60 - 09/02/20 Added a video of a few buds from the inner stems drying on my drying net. I trimmed the fan leaves off and chopped the tips of the sugar leaves which had no trichomes on them. most of the test buds got all the visible stem removed but i left a few of the chunky tops to dry just to see how they turn out. Anyways im going to flush for a few more days before chopping the rest down and getting it ready to dry :) Keep on growing folks!
