** A tip if you like trichomes have the patience to scroll down to the micro photos, they are scary.
Black Runtz is a crazy beauty, a black isolate phenotype of the very famous Zamnesia Runtz. In the last week before this one you will find the white phenotype with a green apple flavor, but here is the spectacle of nature that manifests itself in the form of a stunning red/purple plant with spectacular trichomes and buds.
**Remember that for all the varieties we have at least two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques. This is the plant left to grow straight.
Technique used // In this case we let the plant grow up to the 6th internode then we did the FIMMING or FIM (Fuck the Missed) - This technique by cutting about 70% of the brunch and the leaves growing in the center is going to give the plant the indication to slow down the growth upwards and distribute the power on the lateral branches that with a bit of LST in fact gave some wonderful secondary flowers. No popcorn thanks to Pruning of the things at the bottom, guys leave only everything that sees the light well in flower.
Better with the techniques or the normal ones? This time we have two very different phenotypes, a plant with medium internodal distance. I prefer the plant to grow straight, but I know that it can be obtained very well with a main lining or repeated topping.
Flower quality // From one to 10 stars 15. The plant has resined very well on all sides, the resin is really abundant and above average. The color of the trichomes is something exceptional really we have dark purple heads, light purple, lilac, really a racobalen of shades of red / purple.
The buds were washed as recommended by Zamnesia.

Fertilizers// I am very happy with how I managed to dispose of the plant that at a certain point, before going to the wash, was fed for a few days only with additives and then went to the wash and we are very very well discolored. I predict a very tasty flower, grown organically and washed successfully, the flavor and taste will be epic.

It was a rough week for the girl. We had bad weather this past week very high humidity and lots of rain. I also dealt with some powdery white mold which I was able to get under control by using baking soda and water and removing lots of leaves. The buds are much more dense and the trichomes are starting to turn milky. Ideally I would have liked to keep this plant in the ground one more week but we have more nasty weather coming so I will be most likely be pulling this girl in the next three days. It has been about 11 days since I have given her any nutrients and she has received a lot of rain water. I pulled some of the lower branch when I found the PWM just in-case and I have those dry right now.

Mein Erster Grow ist geschafft! hab auch direkt versucht selber Hash zumachen und es war echt Lecker!
LemonCherryCookies ist gut aber bei mir sehr viel Blätter.. wenn ich nochmal so eine bekomme dann wird die eingefroren😅
Hash hab ich aus den Verschnitt der 3 Pflanzen gemacht : Verschnitt eingefroren - Verschnitt in 5 Haufen aufgeteilt und in der Box mit 150Mesh gesiebt , Nass kam 4,6g und Trocken 2,1 am ende. Hash war mega! Vielleicht wird im nächsten Run eine Camping Waschmaschine zum Hash machen besorgt, dann spar ich mir das Schütteln 😂💪

Its been an awesome week! Their color is returning after a few heavy doses of calmag and buds are forming fast.. We still have the Solux 350 at 75% but hung low (we have 2 large tents iin this room and we're trying to keep heat at a min) and its doing an AMAZING job
..we removed a few more large fans from the tops and cleaned the lower section of new growth..not too much else to report it's been a nice easy week..thanks as always for dropping by and happy harvests everyone!!

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1
Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter.
I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.

Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan.

I'm in love with the structure on this sugar cane. She takes training easily and has developed a beautiful canopy of tops without much effort. It's almost like she just knows what I want her to do.
Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

Would definitely recommend esp if you don't want to do nothing else. Because this strain will put you on the sofa making you do nothing else for the day. I smoke this after work and it sends me to sleep straight away I love it

Der Mix Pack wächst wirklich gut, ich muss noch bisschen Stickstoff für die Blätter pushen aber sonst sehen die wirklich sehr gut aus, den neuen Topf haben sie auch dankend angenommen ohne Probleme 😀 werde ich ja nach der Ernte sehen, in wie weit das Umtopfen noch was gebracht hat und ob es nicht vllt Schlau wäre, das entweder kurz vor dem Stretch oder während dessen zu machen. Ich werde das die nächsten Wochen mal ausprobieren. Es wird doch möglich sein Automatics mit Erfolg um zu topfen 🤔😄🤭

Awesome and beautiful plant nothing to complain and maybe going again on tent sometime, strong recommend fruity lovers. Was easy to grow and bend, reacted well to topping too. Was fast grower in veg and stretch phase. Buds was little more bigger than average and almost rock hard with very nice trichome production. Leafs had nice purple fading on the end and buds had purple earlier. Smell was tropical fruity (orange/mandarin) with some sourness. Tropical Tangie from DP have same kinda smell profile but more fruity and sour atleast my grews and i liked it little more. Flowered 54 days from pistils and 1 plant yielded 159gr what it more than average on this tent/setup.

01/12/22 irrigated 1 gallon water PH 5.85 TDS 403 gave 2 quarts recharge.
01/13/22 irrigated 1 gallon water PH 6.04 TDS 403. Topped 4 more spots. Growth has picked right back up after the PH mishaps.
01/14/22 re-potted to #5 nursery pot. Set up watering system. Now irrigating itself 1 time per day @ 50 gallons. Set PH 6.03 TDS 520.
01/15/22 adjusted TDS to 499 PH 6.0
Currently have 16 tops

So far, so good. The Dr amazingly grows similar sized buds above the light level as she grows buds behind the lights. Buds are small in general.
I fertigate her once a day, 0.4 g/L of the base fertilizer. Inflow conc is 550 ppm (ca,. 1100 uS/cm), and I think I may be slightly underfertilizing. I plan to raise the concentration 150 ppm within two weeks and see if she tolerates that amount.
What's fantastic in these long flowering strains, that it seems one has all the time in the world to plan and make changes, in the end, there's so much time to recuperate in case of an inconvenience!
Day 107 (29-12) It consoles me that even the infortunate grow disadventures of mine with this "stretchy sativa" I think the journey will turn out successful. Let's some in April! (perhaps somewhat earlier, I dunno)
If not for yields, which I reckon thwy may not be as large as I wanted (if for big yield was the original intention of growing this strain I wouldn't grow this one specially -which is know not ot be a big yielder, it was the desire of the experience of growing this noble and beautiful landrace (heirloom) sativa. by myslef...and I have 4 more seeds ;)
I raised EC with 0.5 g/L Bloom fertilizer per liter solution, keeping all the other ingredients constant, in concentration and order of mixing.
Every day I have the extra work of inspecting the colas to see whether they are being damaged by heat and eventually apart them from the cobs, etc., but in general, I thank God this could have been even much worse. Luckily she resists both the high indoor temperatures (31 ºC by this date, when outside temperatures are of that order), and pro-silicate additive may have been useful to resist heat, as Grotek claims.

Hello, lovely people. Today is the last day of the fifth week. They started flowering in the last few days, and we can already see the buds developing. I trained them a bit more; they’re turning into little monsters and taking up too much space in my small tent. Since they’re getting tall, I decided to do some lollipopping, removing the small buds growing very low down and taking off some leaves that don’t receive much light. Overall, everything looks good. I can’t see any problematic leaves, which is probably the first time this has happened to me. Let’s hope it continues this way.

RSV11 is still making progress. She had a second neem oil treatment on last update. I dunno if the pests are gone. If not. I will try a Insecticide soap. Most critters can't survive neem oil or keep reproducing. Why I never spray it in flowering. So I gotta make sure it's resolved before flowering. She should be reaching maturity soon.
