🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. What you get instead is: • speed • control over height • uniform canopy • faster turnover But also: • smaller overall plant size • less room for recovery from stress • everything happens quicker, so mistakes show faster It’s a different rhythm — not better, not worse — just a different way to grow. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Looking ahead: You should expect: • pistils continuing to multiply • buds starting to stack and swell more aggressively • resin production increasing noticeably • aromas becoming stronger and more defined What not to expect (yet): • no major calyx swelling peak yet • no heavy pistil browning yet • no final density — we’re still building We’re still in that “construction phase”, not the finishing stage. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude As always — thank you. 📋Summary of previous week During week 5 of vegetation, both R01 and R03 showed solid development, especially R03. A training session was done to open them up and improve branch distribution. R01 has started showing signs of pre-flowering, while R03, being five days younger, hasn’t yet. R02, unfortunately, suffered another setback: during an LST adjustment, its main stem snapped. It was carefully taped and stabilized, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that it won’t be able to keep up with the others. This week, two watering sessions were done: one with 1.2L of water, 1.5ml of Terra Vega, and 1ml of Mycochum per plant, and another with 1L of water and 1ml of Terra Vega. The light intensity was increased to 85%, and the lights were raised a bit higher to encourage more stretching before flowering begins ------------------------------------------------------------- 6️⃣Week flower : 24/03 - 31/03 💡 Light schedule: 21 hours (06h30-03h30) 📏 Lamp To Plant Distance: 85cm ⚡ Dimming: 85% 🌡️ Average temperature: 20,5° ☔ Average humidity: 67% ---------------------------------------------------------------------- #24/03/2025 I decided to make another LST adjustment and I'm starting to consider removing R02 from the tent and placing her on the balcony, allowing more space for R01 and R03, which are now practically filling up the tent on their own. As for the SCROG net, I’ve decided not to use it and will stick with LST until the end. The main reasons are : -I’ve already managed to open up the plants well with LST - R01 is already showing signs of flowering -I’ll be able to handle the plants more freely throughout the contest .. and the main reason , I messed up the measurements for my frame and now need to figure out a way to extend the support pipes a few centimeters to make it fit properly! 😅 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- #26/03/2025 Applied a bit more LST today and decided to give them one last watering with Bactomatik from Agrobacterias, but at a lower dose , just 2g in 3L of water, with one drop of SuperVit to give a final boost of nitrogen, beneficial bacteria, vitamins, and amino acids. I also sprinkled a bit of Epsom salt from THC on the surface for magnesium, and some Basalt Rock from EcoForce, which contains 45% silica, to further strengthen the ladies ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 30/03/2025 Watered today with 1.5L per plant, adding 1ml of Terra Vega by Canna and 1ml of Alga Bloom from Plagron. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 31/03/2025 Had to make another LST adjustment on R03 — this girl is definitely keeping me busy! I’m completely out of space in the tent, so from now on the only direction left for her to grow is up!💚 I also did a bit of defoliation — something I don’t usually do with autoflowers, but they really needed it. Nothing major, just a few lower leaves and some that were blocking light from reaching the lower branches. Nothing too crazy!!

Letzte Woche! Einmal noch gießen aber nur wenig damit die bissl trockenstress haben und trichome nochmal anziehen. Keinen Dünger mehr und nur noch ph neutrales Wasser. Geruch ist super geil! Aussehen ist auch ne 10/10. bin sehr gespannt aufs Endprodukt!

Welcome to the Zamnesia Spring Cup 🏆 Hello everyone :-) A lot has happened this week 🤗. It has developed very nicely and its roots have exploded properly 😍. It is also slowly becoming lighter, since it has obviously been slowly consuming its nutrients from the soil :-) That is why it was repotted today, mixing 3 layers with a total of 60-75 g Monster Bud Mix between the soil. Then everything was mixed and distributed well, and the plant used. Unfortunately I noticed too late that I didn't take any pictures of the root ball while repotting 🤦‍♂️🏻. I look forward to seeing how it evolves this week. Above all, I am excited to see how she is doing with the Monster Bud Mix, as I have been used to mixing everything for each wash separately 😊. During the course of this week I will also spontaneously decide whether I will give her an LST, topping fimming, etc., since I have to see how I am in the vegi phase, because the Spring Cup has a limited time 😁. Well, here we are ladies and gents. I'm saying this a good few weeks earlier than I was expecting to, but she's ready. Buds have swollen up like balloons, and are dense and frosty. I dug out the microscope for a look in the week to see how far gone we were, and the pictures tell the story. As much as 50% amber on some of the tips closest to the light. Even deep in the calyx, amber is 30-40%, and lowers are 95% cloudy / 5% amber. The sugar leaves pretty much look like a burnt landscape under the microscope at this point. Almost disappointed it's coming to an end, this has been a really chill grow. No issues at all, she's been a pleasure from start to finish. But they all gotta come to an end sometime. Way she grows, boys. Way she grows.... Enough sadness. 'Tis a time to be joyful. She looks great, smells great and she's screaming she's ready, so I will be chopping any day now. This is the last weekly update - I'll be back in a couple of weeks once this is all dried, trimmed and weighed with the harvest details :)

Amending with bloom top dressing because flopping this one to flower. Over the transition, I will amend with some more bloom mix and some rock phosphate and Power Bloom from Gaia Green. Will also be doing a brand new banana tea recipe so stay tuned folks.

Finally!

Kosher Haze is what it says, kush and haze, very resinous buds. More leafy and less dense buds but long colas full of frost. Effect is powerful, euphoric, longlasting. Amazing taste of sweet berry.

Our beautiful girls have plant louses 😱 So yesterday we made a brew of garlic and sprinkeld all of the plants, also the ground of the growbox - after cleaning up everything. So we hope this works. Have anyone experience with the small green monsters? We would be grateful for some suggestions.

Week 12 - Venom OG and an unknown seed strain. Tap water and Espoma Bloom full dose - 18hr light schedule At this point I learned that I need to really make more use of my area for my plants by fiming, LST, SoG, etc.... I plan to try to monster crop the Venom OG and try to get some different results. It's not an auto-flower plant so I'll have some time to veg it to the way I want to see it before it gets too big.

Everything on track . Cut 4 bottom leaves that wer turning yellow. Watering every 2 days right now. Some top leaves are turning yellow. Don't know if I'm under feeding, or something else is wrong. We'll see.
