Hey fellow growers back with week 6 update of my 420fastbuds "Blue Dream" grow. Well everythingwas going smooth until i tried to install an lst clip on Blue dream #4 and accidentally hst trained the whole top half of the plant!!! She has recovered and knuckled up nicely but it did slow down growth. I am noticing also that she is lightning in color. So I'll be giving her some nitrogen on the next feed to get her happy again! Im hoping its do 2 having to repair herself. I also fucked up and didn't water for 6 days... which may also be a culprit to my lightning plant. So this has been the feed for these ladies 4 the last week... 1/16/2022 6.3 ph water Solution temp 73.0°F 1/22/2021 1/2ml cal mag 2ml micro 1ml gro 2ml bloom 3/4ml ph down Ph 6.36 480ppm Solution temp 73.2°F Well guys I'm gonna get back at it and see if I can save my relationship with my lightning lady!! Day 77-84 (April 17th-24th) (Day 78) I honestly cant believe I’ve been vegging this long. The growth for almost 80 days of veg is laughable. I’ve compiled a little list of what has gone wrong so far. - I added too much glacial moraine which made the soil too water retentive - I’ve been foliar feeding too much kelp - I gave too many bloom nutrients for a plant in veg - EDIT: DID NOT WATER ENOUGH AT ONCE The plants have been drooping like crazy this past week and I’m going to try watering in a full gallon per plant. I first thought it was from the medium not drying out enough, soil compaction ect. and I’m sure those are definitely areas where my soil mix could improve but the bottom of the container is pretty damn dry. I could actually be under watering despite soaking the top with 500ml a day. I’m going to sit the pots on some plastic sheeting so they don’t evaporate as much from the bottom and water in a full gallon each making sure I get some runoff. I was going to wait until I get my air pump but fuck it, it’s coming tomorrow afternoon. The pots are so big that they’re not fully wetting to the bottom even with a gallon. I’m going to try to water in a gallon every 4 days while keeping the top soil moist with the sprayer. In hindsight 6 plants in 5-7 gallon pots would be the most ideal. (Day 79) Holy fuck did a full gallon watering make a difference. I should have been doing this the whole time. All 4 plants are praying and stretching upward like crazy. They just look more vigorous and happy within a day. I bet they will be even happier with that supplemental air. If things stay this smooth I should be able to flip around day 84, possibly earlier. Got my air pump in the mail today. This is kind of a shot in the dark so hopefully it works. It’s super loud and vibrates like crazy. First I’m going to try running it 24/7 and see if there is any improvement over the next few days. If it does work, I’ll try running it on my humidity controller so it’s not constantly humming and will only turn on when the humidity is high. I’m going to turn the night time temps down to 70f to prevent root problems now that I’m watering much bigger amounts less frequently and it’s getting warmer during the day. (Day 81/Day 1F) Ever since I’ve been watering in the proper amounts I have seen an absolute explosion in growth. I’ve decided to flip today, now that I’m confident my soil mix isn’t completely fucked. I might run into some N/mg problems during the stretch so I will make sure to give a final foliar feeding around the end of week 1. (Day 3F) So I’m literally seeing dwc growth rates now. Plants have grown more in the last 5 days than the last 3 weeks. If I had stayed at this pace of growth since day 1, I would have an 8 foot tall plant or I would be halfway through flower already. Oh well. Good learning experience. *grits teeth* I’m going to put up the second layer of trellis before these girls stretch out of control. Bbb#3 is seriously stretchy and will likely more than double in size in the next 2 weeks. The other 4 are all quite stout and bushy. I’m giving a light, preemptive defoliation each day and picking off some of the lower sucker branches. I will do a full strip around day 21F.

Bud are thickening up. Buds are still pretty small though. She smells wonderful. She’s getting super frosty

Here we are with the 5th (and last) week of veg! Finally I transplant the Queens in their definitive home. Queen #5 wants to be different, so she decide to top herself in a particular way. I really like her shape and all the branches all around! I have to change the light setup for the flowering stage, but I don't know if the box will be able to hold up two cooltube reflectors: I hope it won't implode for too much weight. Fresh out of the cloning dome into solo cups and into my new tent🙌 All my clone seemed to have survived the dome and are now doing Nicely in their new home under their new badass rail light . Can't wait to see these grow up🤩

For this batch we have 23 zkittlez clones vegg for 8 days (1 gallon bags) 1 zkittlez vegg for 6 weeks (1 gallon bags)

Pretty happy with her setup now shes reached the edges of pot. I plan to just try keep her tied down while the middle catches up. I'll let her get some vertical growth after that and flip when im happy shes good to go. She is now just on full feed Lucas forula (GHE Micro/Bloom) with some calmag. Took all her nutes well showing no signs of deficiencies and caused no grief whatsoever.

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

Will report back with a smoke report, but this thing smells incredible and budded extremely well. Didn't have much of any issues with pests. Got a BIG 4' plant from only super soil in a 5-gallon fabric pot. Tons of resin. Very impressed with these automatic genetics from Pride of the Lion Seeds... and I'll definitely be growing another one of them in the spring.

It was a fatigue collecting them, really so much grass as I didn't see it from a while. The most beautiful plant in my opinion, 16 peaks is worked that are all beautiful lined, and big for really. The amount of resin is more than satisfactory and the flowers are very large looks here an outdoor is really a show, I brought it to the yellow leaves because it had a lot of white hair and I preferred to make it mature right. Daltrone 8 weeks are a time as declared and perfect. Really beautiful. The second plant I say that I like less but only because I left two side branches under the main lining that sucked power in the center, result? Twin large lateral twins really like outdoor and very long and full super and a very dignified center. I prefer the other but even this doesn't joke. I believe that it soon redo it in the meantime it is in the drying room and left a lot of trichomes on the pavement, I thought that the cock cleans before putting the grass to dry instead it was resin.
