It’s-a-growing... Not too stoked on how quick the top layer of soil is drying out with the hot weather. Definitely see a decrease in predator mite activity on the surface... hopefully they’re still busy down below. I added straw to help keep the upper layer from drying out... This decrease in beneficial bug activity could also be from switching to tap water... I did some rain water from my barrel to begin with, but got scared of pathogens because I know crows take lunch breaks on my roof and their scraps definitely means rodents coming in to clean up 😩 The tap water has no chloramide in it, so that’s a good thing. Hopefully my tiny air pump and stones bubbling a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours gets rid of enough chlorine to keep the micro biological ecosytem in balance 🙏

They are full of crystals and trichromes covered by much, they are super sticky and solid. June 8: really cold here the last few days. Likely due to the heat dome now in SW states and Mexico. Overnight low of only 1 C tonight so the plants are indoors until conditions improve which should be soon. June 9: it wasn’t as cold as forecast last night and stayed above 5 C with lowest being two nights ago at 3.3 C. Watered with 26 C water this evening to keep it warm a bit longer but overnight temps should be fine again now and she’s outdoors full time now. June 10: watered this morning with first compost tea. Pic is from the evening and she’s looking really good. A few days ago I forgot to lower the pH of the city tap water and the biggest fan leaves show some of that pH swing damage. Oops. Looks good now though after the lazy compost tea. Lazy compost tea is compost, molasses, some coco coir and some Monster Maxx. Let sit overnight but not so long that it goes anaerobic. It should smell fresh not sulphurous. June 11: looks good after the compost tea. June 13: to get the stems growing apart in preparation for another round of topping, I supercropped both stems, taped with floral tape, and then tied down using pipe cleaners and paper clips on the edge of the grow bag. I removed the LST ties about 6weeks in and added Bloom when she was showing pre flowers although it states in the nutrient list I was adding both bloom basic and biobizz bloom I actually cut out the biobizz at week 9 and replaced it with Atami bloombastic.

Sep 21: fall is here with 12 h of darkness and red tinted sunlight both of which help with flowering. One problem with growing dope here is the UV light is weak this far North in the fall so for most people it’s better to just do autos outdoors and timing it so they ripen during the stronger summer sun and you’re done by the end of August. But if you want reliable big yields these fast flowering photoperiods are definitely the best choice. Sep 23: seems a bit off colour so I added some Alaska Fish Fertilizer for N. Always warming the water to about 26C these days to help keep the plant and soil bacteria warm and happy. Sep 25: this plant and Bruce both got blown over twice today. This is because the small 5 gallon bags aren’t big and heavy enough. The plants are fine. Oh well, the advantage is that I can move them around easily to maximize direct sun. Don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re going to immediately use a 730 nm far red light to put the plants into dark mode. It’s a great trick as a bloom booster and moves up finishing time here by a couple or three weeks. Sep 27: harvest will be tomorrow because of some bad weather moving in. Tomorrow will be okay but then rain and cold overnight and even snow forecast for late next week. C’est La vie.

The apricot is going hard on the stretch, she loved the LST and although a bit leggy she’s filling out nicely. Gave her a flush before stepping up the nutes and will look to keep spreading her out this week .

This week went pretty well. She stretched another 8 inches and is up to 48" even though I am not feeding her any veg nutrients, and I am really hoping she is ready to chill out because I have the lights D-Ringed to the roof of the tent, I had to remove the pulleys from them because they took too much room. I also added another 100 watt Spider Farmer and a 150 watt mars hydro to the mix, so I am running 4 lights at 790 Watts total for this plant. I am between 65K and 75K lumens for the entire canopy, and i have 150 watts coming in from underneath the canopy. I am also struggling with the humidity in the tent, even though I am able to maintain 45% RH outside the tent, I am having trouble keeping the tent below 60% RH and it is due to all the transpiration from her leaves, as well as the high frequency fertigation that I deploy, although all the runoff is outside the tent within 90 seconds of feeding, so not much I can do about either one. I know it doesn't look like I am defoliating her, but I have a trash bag almost full just from this plant. I purchased a small dehumidifier for inside the tent and it will be arriving tomorrow, so hopefully that takes care of my issues, as I don't want any moldy colas. Hace tres días empecé el trasplante y están todas recuperadas, bebiendo y comiendo. Las veo sanas y con ganas de hacerse fuertes, una distancia entre nudos cortísima, apenas 2cm en el punto mas largo. Hojas grandes, anchas y verdes.

Hello people, its time for a small update! My Fillmore is growing strong, the first Nodes started to develop. The Top Leaves are getting super big and the plant is very wide already. The pot will get too small soon... I havent used any fertilizer this week, only water. Now I noticed some light green parts in the upper part of the plant, so i will take measures next week against that. Maybe some Boom Spray and/or Fishmix (BioBizz). Lets hope for the best!

There getting more thirsty one White Widow its fan leaves turned sideways, gave it more water it turned back. Up to .5 Litre every 3rd day. Leaves are still turning on one plant. So far no nutrients other than the soil.
