Hello Diary, I apologize right away for the large number of photos, but it is important for me to document as best I can. This week I also photographed on a black background because they are really beautiful plants. So Medusa F1 is incredibly fast, after only four weeks of flowering, the first Medusa F1 is approaching harvest. I checked the trichomes under a microscope and most of them are milky, on the lower branches the ratio is 50/50. So I will wait a few more days, monitor the situation and harvest at the right time. This time I photographed the second Medusa, a really beautiful plant, but it has not yet matured like the first one. Considering the number of photos, I will not describe the appearance too much, therefore the smell, incredible. No other strain has had such an intense and strong smell so far on my small farm, I am very much looking forward to trying this new strain. Watering is more frequent, every three days I water them with almost 4 liters of water per plant. The conditions are excellent, 25 degrees and less than 40% humidity in the air. Here's how it went last week. 09/03/2023 - Day - 44. Watering. I lowered the p.H. at 6.0 and with 7 liters of water, I watered both plants evenly. 12/03/2023 - Day - 47. Watering and checking trichomes with a microscope. I repeated the watering procedure as I did three days earlier. 14/03/2023 - Day - 49. Photography and video. this time, after the grow box, I also photographed the plants on a black background. It was worth every effort. Vamos al lío, lo primero comentar, que me dieron gato por liebre, porque esto tiene pinta de rudelaris que tira pa atrás… Van en macetas de 7 litros negras. El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración puse 12 horas de luz, el foco está al 60% de potencia. De momento van creciendo a buen ritmo y tienen un buen color, ya tiraron pelos blancos y van empezando a tricomar, estaban bien enraizadas al realizarle el trasplante se notaba la abundancia radicular. 🌱🌱🌱Continuamos este cultivo, con esta hermosa cepa de FastBuds, Girl Scout Cookies Auto, ya pasamos a la vegetación como tal.🌱🌱🌱 👨‍🍳Nutrición👨‍🍳 Dia 8 y 9 sigue consumiendo el agua del ultimo riego en el día 6, en esta segunda semana se comenzara a dar la solución nutritiva NPK para el crecimiento y la aplicación de tricodermas foliar. Día 10 se riega con una solución nutritiva NPK de 700 ml con Plagron Power Roots (0.2 ml), Plagron Pure Zym (0.4 ml) y Plagron Alga Grow (0.5 ml). Día 11, denota un crecimiento sostenido y saludable, exuberante con aparición de hojas nuevas rápidamente, se acerca el comienzo del entrenamiento LST para preparar el camino al SCROG 👨‍🌾🏻 Día 13 se realiza el primer entrenamiento, LST primero se fija la base del tallo, a continuación se dobla en 90° el ápice suavemente, transcurridas 4 horas la planta ya se relaja hacia esa posición y se ajusta el LST para hacerlo mas profundo y dar un ángulo desde mas abajo, logrando mejor sujeción y mayor penetración de luz a los nudos inferiores. Luego de eso se riega con una solución nutritiva NPK, de 700 ml, 0.2 Plagron Power Roots, 0.4 Plagron Pure Zym y 0.5 Plagron Alga Grow. 4x4 #1 | Plants are starting to stack bud formations, in week 5 flower 4x4 #2 | Plants are starting to show pistils this week & a active stretch, in week 2 flower Gyat is very easily managed and both phenotypes are looking great, even the 'finicky' plant Scat Queen is a herm and both phenos, I'm still going to run them.. they look good other than. The pheno in week 5 flower smells really good and overall structure is nice but seeded and I'm seeing the 2nd pheno starting to show the same traits.. this experiment shows it's not a stable cross from Elev8 just by the fact every other plant isn't giving this problem and its a 100% rate in 2 different tents. Did some shuffling & added a smaller plant, Sherbie Truffle by Detroit Seed Co in the front right next to Gyat to the left -it is a week behind the others but will fill the space nice. ( Scat Queen back left, Gyat back right and front left, Sherbie Truffle front right ) Keeping the flow smooth growmies 😎

This is a cross of Super Lemon Haze & Clementine bringing you an earthy lemon haze on the inhale and an orangy sweet smooth explosive burst on the exhale. Hard Defoliation was done around day 30, as you can see. She had wide fans but underneath had grown her nodes enough to stand alone. Took about 25% of the Defoliation planned for the 3-4 Days. On Day 34, she's a fantastic grower. The biggest in the tent out of them all. I plan to Pre flower her by next week. And after pre flower her tops will be HST'ed and during the start of the flip. I'll take most of what I don't want or that doesn't look like it'll have heavy stigmata sites. (Stand alone bud sites will be removed). She just went through a hard defoliation of her many of her top fans throughout the week. I usually take up to 15-25% a day or until my fully planned defoliation is done 3-4 days. I'll give what's left time to catch up. Then remove those major fan leafs once they've produced a node that can grow on its own strenght without to much delay. So, all in all another week. Not the 2 months as planned in veg. But, I didn't expect such growth so fast. Not with this development anyways. She's a super pheno. Checked sites, no bracts, hairs have popped (meaning she's throwing out the hormone that is telling you, she's ready to flip when you are) 730nm will be used during the Fattening stage to enhance the DLI (lighting on my 1hr40mins) this will only be used for the fattening stage. Then UV-A will be used in ripening. 1hr a day in 2x30m windows and 1hr x2 after 5-6 days into ripening for the remaining of ripening up until the last 1-2 days when she'll be ran on a low ppfd (like a sunset) or ill put her to sleep and put in a 48hr dark rest. TBD Day 35 she's at to moving through this week great. Took a clone. Had to. All though I've not had a taste. If the bud is good. I'll be delighted to have this clone that will be well into veg by the time she's done. I've decided to put her into flower by day 40ish I'll LST her. Last defoliation of leafs were nodes have grown enough to push themselves. Its wasn't my plan. A 4-5 month grow. If I leave this girl for another 4 weeks in veg. She'll take over the whole tent. Alga Grow will be stopped on after the next feeding. And bloom will be added. Power buds will be used for pre flower stage. week was good I ran in to some problems got nutrient deficiency and some burnig on my leaves. But I fixed that by doing a nice good rinse of straight water and than fer them some good olnutes and back to good. Smell is strong and funky so strong I finally ordered a carbon filter. Since last week I've been doing the normal watering only when they ask and watering once a week with top crop top veg fertilizer and they've responded very well and both are already in 11L airpots that I transplanted during this week

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. Starting to beef out more. Came out of nowhere , however , we had a little pest issue - Seemed to go straight for it. I hope I’ve remedies that old school way soap water spray plus sticky band to trap. Added some canna cure. Interestingly I went low on silicate and canna cure here vs the other tent. The other tent has had zero pests whatsoever. I also added smaller pots this week with biocanna pro- I hope it’s not that. Anyways - starting to look true to its name now.

End of week 6 and things are really ramping up now! First couple pics on this week where taken 4 days after the middle of week 5 pics on the previous week and there is a huge difference and I also got in just before the HPS came on to snap these pics and video so you can see them much better then under my HPS pics taken on day 40 into flowering also in this weeks diary. These girls are not messing around, giant buds everywhere and no signs of them slowing down anytime soon...lol we might be looking at more then 8-9 weeks of flowering I’m thinking at this point. Still got 1 ugly plant eating her leaves but I’m thinking now it’s just my lower nutrient doses making this happen. It’s a really slow progression so far, but I’m loosing a lot of guard leaves up top on the one, but she is still got the biggest buds....hmmmm just gonna let her go and see what happens. Both girls started preflower on Tuesday and already I can see that they started stretching nicely. Scrog net will be installed by the end of this week. Week 5 13-19 Nov. 13/11 day 36 First runoff experience for girls. Loaded both pots with approx. 2.5 ltr each in 4 stages of 500-700ml. Runoff 100-150ml from each. Runoff PH 5.9. Nutrients for this watering were same as on previous week and added only calmag. Next watering possibly Friday but with new measurements. 14/11 day 37 Both 🍌💜👊 girls started preflower on same day. Xena is catching up quick to her larger sister and possibly soon they will be sharing this growing space 50/50 15-16/11 days 38-39 Just happy and healthy days 😁 nice steady growth. 17/11 day 40 Second watering for this week. 5.5l beetwen both. Runoff Ph 6.1 19/11 day 42 Most busiest day so far. Both girls got very bushy in last few days and they stretched enough to install scrog net. This plant man. Had to remove the 2nd and 4th node branches because they just weren’t doing anything. Stems were bright purple and the buds were tiny. Decided it was best to just chop them off. Buds are plumping up nicely. She is actually at day 72 right now. Think she’s got 7-10 days left, we’ll see.

Ok, so things are moving faster now. I checked the trichomes for the first time this week and they are pretty much all milky in the buds at the top and the middle. The lower buds have somewhat more clear trichomes, and I might have been more radical when I did perform the lollipop. The plant in the back right corner started to get a little purple on the leafs at the buds, which I think looks pretty cool. Harvest time could be within the next week, pretty sure still this month. I am waiting to see some amber in the trichomes like 10%ish and will leave them in 48h of darkness afterwards. I am still playing with the idea of a partial harvest, but I don't have well controlled options to dry my flowers outside of the Growbox. So I do not want to risk anything by a lack of airflow or potentially a humidity that could be off. I hope the buds will pack some more this week to come. Sensi Seeds says it is a medium harvesting plant, so I'll see what I'll get. I definitely want to let them have clear water one last time before harvest, because I gave them nutrients up until now. I would love to see more changes in the colours of the leafs and the plant eating itself up, to not have any unnecessary nitrogen with an impact on the taste. Sensi Seeds says this strain needs 7-10 weeks of flower so we are well within that time schedule.
