So excited to start a Mephisto grow! I will update once they sprout out of the ground. I soaked them in Ph water for 12 -24 hours. I then put a paper towel in a zip lock and pour the ph water and seed in between paper towel. Put it in a dark warm closet on top of a heating pad on low and usually and wait until the babies pop. Once popped they go into the super soil i prep for them in a 5 gall cloth pot

Jack Herer auto is on her way out. She has gotten switched to just ph water a few days ago. The next update will ge her harvest in about a week, and a half. She is looking really good and frosty. Good aroma, and nice plant or a 100 watt grow. I should easily get a gram a watt if not 2. She grew great in the Athena blended line nutrition. Everything is looking awesome. The trichomes are 70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. The nutrients have been used up and the lady is allowed to stay a few days before she comes into the darkroom for 48 hours before the harvest. Of course there is an extra update for this :-). Otherwise the week was poured 3 times with 1.2 l. The tent was cleaned and all women checked. Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Final week at week 11 of flower. I think I could have let her go a little Longer but she’s probably around 10-12% amber. Looking and smelling great!! Chopped, hung, dried, trimmed and cured. Bud tastes great and is potent. Not going to be a couchlock for the everyday stoner but definitely a great strong sativa type high. Packed on a lot of weight and was happy with the outcome.

I've got the AirCube system dialed in now and the plants have responded beautifully! I've upped the nutrients to 650ppm's and am running the PH at 6.0-6.2 @ 74℉. Tent temperatures are running 73/80℉ during lights off/on, RH is being maintained @ 65%, and co2 levels at 1150-1300ppm's. I upped the output of the HLG 650R to 65% via a TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller, and have it hung 28" above the plants. 10/20- Yesterday, I drained and cleaned the reservoir and 'brain bucket', then refilled the system with 60L of well water to which added the following: 100ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B', 30ml of Plagron Power Roots and 45ml of Botanicare CalMag+, and 3 tbsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss amino acids for a final level of 650ppm's. I then checked the ph and adjusted to 6.0 @ 74℉. I have also set the GrowAce AirCube system to 'Auto' mode and have it set for three 15min feedings a day, six hours apart, beginning two hours after 'lights on'. 10/22- All three Strawberry Gorilla's are looking really good now with great color and vigor. They all have their forth leaf set emerging now and their node spacing is fairly tight currently. With the girls doing well, I'm primarily concentrating on maintaining a consistent environment in the 4x4, paying close attention to temperature, RH, co2 levels and VPD. The three times a day feeding schedule with Plagron nutrients ( Cocos A & B, Power Roots) continues @ 650ppm. I am also checking the reservoir before each to monitor and adjust the PH and nutrients when needed. I have noticed that after each feed the reservoir PH climbs 0.9of a point to 7.0, so I have been adding 30ml of Safer Grow PH Down which brings the PH down to 6.1. 10/24- Today I drained, cleaned and flushed the AirCube reservoir and 'brain bucket', then filled it with 70L of 74℉ well water. After filling I added the Plagron nutrients separately and also began adding in Plagron Royal Rush. The feedings of Plagron nutrients continue three times daily, and I'm monitoring the reservoir before each, adjusting the nutrient level to 650-700ppm @ 5.9-6.2 ph. The tent environment has remained dialed in with the VPD averaging 1.40kpa over the last seven days. The Strawberry Gorilla's are responding well to the feeding schedule, and are also tolerating the increased light output which I now have set to 80% along with setting the co2 levels to 1100-1400ppm. I'm continuing to flush all three and the #1 and #2 pheno's are really getting some beautiful coloration! The #3 plant that has struggled the entire run is so pale she almost looks white, but she's the terpiest of the three, which I think is due to the stresses that she's been under. All three cultivars are covered in frost, and on the #1 and #2 pheno's the trichomes even cover their shade leaves! 1/5- After checking the trichomes on all three I decided to begin their 72 hours in the dark when today's light cycle is finished. All three plants have 85-90% milky trichomes with 5% amber showing, and will continue to mature during the 72 hour dark period before they are hung to begin the drying process. 1/8- Well, today is the day! All three Strawberry Gorilla's were released from 3 days in 'dark🌑jail' and all three look absolutely gorgeous! 😍 All three Strawberry Gorilla's are loaded with trichomes, and each has its own unique terpene profile with the #3, shockingly the 'loudest' of the trio. The #2 is the best looking of the bunch IMO, with the #1 taking the middle slot. After taking some pic's of all three, I cut them each off at their base and hung them in my AC Infinity 4x4 to dry for 10-14 days. I have the tent equipped with a de-humidifier, humidifier, and a fan to keep the air gently circulating. It's winter here so I'm pulling in outside air into the tent which is keeping the temp's in the 55-60℉ range, and I'm keeping the RH at 50% for the first 24hrs, then I'll up it to 60% for the remainder of the hang time. 01/04/2023 - 56 days since my baby girl sprouted from a seed The fourth week of flowering of my Mimosa Cake Auto 🎂🍰🥞 Nutrients: Jungle IndoBox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - Carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Bud Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle indaBox Environ x Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud remains unchanged I don't do Bud Ignitor anymore ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and ATAMI is an excellent brand Plants tolerate nutrients well, sometimes a small spot appears on the leaves, but this is not a nutrient burn Training: Trick - only a mild training, I tied a few twigs to the edge of the flower pot with a string so that they don't shade each other 🌞🌞 🌞🌞 Defoliation: I mainly remove the large leaves so they don't damage the flowers and I also cut off the lower leaves. The plant will thus have more power to put energy into the buds 🍃🌸🌸 General: The plant has grown tall, the plant branches are growing symmetrically, they have many flowers, the stems are strong and healthy, the leaves correspond to the age and stage of the plant, only the tips of the leaves are brown. I am wondering what nutrient could be causing this. So after consideration of the density of the buds and my night humidity levels— decided to chop a week early. Buds are super dense. Concern for mold. Very leafy lady- with massive fans She’s 10% amber but still some white pistols on the lowers. Very easy to grow. Stayed on the shorter side with minimal stretch—which is appreciated. I love how the Plagron Green Sensation is nitrogen free! I used it from weeks 3-6. Super helpful as the leaves were getting a little curl— even with minimal nutes. Will have harvest report soon. As terps can change after dry/cure. Happy with the results of the Runtz and Plagron! 🏻💚
