Day 85. Girls looked ok till i saw budrot !!! Sunset Sherbet went to bin. Was biggest from all ... on last visit i saw bird poop on her, maybe its aftermath of nute burn ... ;))))) Apples looks very long and stretchy by bud structure, in other words more bubble hash plant than for smoking. Purple is going nice and steady, just no purple colours ;)))))) Overall girls can go without care, but results will be small, they needed better light , forest overtook surroundings, needs good clean up, but its not my land ;))) Think 20-30 g each is around what i will get from rest. 🌸 Pink Rosay Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B | Week 9 💗 The Little Dwarf That I’m Very Glad I Kept Some plants make you stop because they're enormous. Some make you stop because they're covered in huge flowers. And then there are plants that make you stop because you simply can't believe how much personality they've managed to fit into such a tiny body. Pink Rosay Pheno B is one of those plants. She's still a dwarf. 😂 There is no point pretending otherwise. She's tiny. She's compact. She's becoming incredibly dense. And honestly... I absolutely love her. When I look back at the beginning of this grow, I have to admit something. If I had only been growing a few plants, I probably would never have given a phenotype like this the opportunity to finish. She's just too small. There would have been a temptation to look at her, compare her to the others, and think: "Maybe this one isn't worth the space." But that's exactly why I love having twelve different genetics in the 8×8 Adventure. I didn't remove her. I gave her time. And now? She's standing there covered in flowers and frost, looking absolutely adorable. And I'm very, very happy I kept her. 🌸 Week 9 – Still Tiny. Still Beautiful. Pink Rosay Pheno B is currently around 63 cm. Sixty-three. 😂💗 Compared with some of the giants in this garden, she's practically a bonsai. But here's the funny thing. When I look at her now, I don't really see the height anymore. I see the plant. And the plant is beautiful. Her structure is extremely compact, the internodes are tightly packed, and the flowers are becoming increasingly dense throughout that little framework. She's not wasting much space. She's not reaching endlessly upward. She's simply putting everything she has into the structure she already built. And that's becoming her signature. Tiny frame. Dense flowers. Big personality. 💗 The Dwarf Is Getting Dense This is probably the biggest change I'm seeing this week. She's becoming really dense. The flowers are no longer looking like little isolated flowering sites scattered across a miniature plant. They're becoming proper little clusters. The calyxes are becoming more pronounced. The pistils are progressing. And the resin is becoming increasingly visible across the flowers and surrounding sugar leaves. There's a lovely contrast developing between the dark green foliage and the increasingly frosty flowers. And honestly... she looks fantastic. Not fantastic for a dwarf. Just fantastic. That's an important distinction. Because I don't want to judge her by the expectations I'd have for a much larger plant. I'm judging her for what she is. And what she is becoming is a beautiful, compact, heavily flowering little plant. ❄️ The Frost Is Starting to Take Over And this is where things get particularly interesting. The frost is becoming much more obvious. The flowers have that increasingly sparkling appearance that makes you want to get closer and look again. Then closer again. And then... "Okay, I need the macro lens." 😂📸 The resin is becoming part of her personality now. It's no longer something you have to search for. You can see it. And I have a feeling she's going to become even more interesting as she continues toward maturity. I wouldn't be surprised if, toward the end, she becomes one of those little plants where the amount of frost makes you completely forget how small she actually is. She's certainly heading in that direction. 🌿 A Tiny Plant With Serious Density One thing I really appreciate about this phenotype is how compressed everything is. On a large plant, you can have flowers separated by considerable distances. Here? Everything is happening within a very small space. Branches are short. Nodes are close. Flowers are packed into the architecture. And now those flowers are gaining density. It's almost like watching a miniature version of a full flowering plant. Everything is there. Just... smaller. 😂 And that's what makes photographing her so much fun. A wide photograph tells you the story: "Look how tiny she is." Then you get the camera close. And suddenly... "Holy shit, look at those flowers." That's Pink Rosay Pheno B. ✂️ The Canopy – Now We Let Her Be We already gave this little lady her selective defoliation when the canopy needed opening. The objective was never to strip her. It was to remove unnecessary congestion and give the remaining structure a little more room for light and airflow. Now? I'm leaving her alone. She's doing exactly what I want her to do. The remaining foliage is healthy. The flowers are developing. The structure is becoming denser. And there is no reason to start interfering just because we have scissors available. 😂 This is another lesson this tiny plant has taught me. Sometimes cultivation is intervention. Sometimes cultivation is restraint. And right now, restraint wins. Let her finish. 💡 Small Canopy, Big Photon Story The Future of Grow Black Series lighting continues providing the primary light from above, while the Lumiflora under-canopy system remains part of the overall flowering environment. With a plant this compact, the relationship between light and structure is fascinating. There isn't a huge vertical distance between the different parts of the plant. Instead, everything is compressed into this little flowering package. And as the flowers become denser, I'm very interested to see how she finishes under the same environmental philosophy as the much larger plants surrounding her. She's another reminder that light doesn't dictate phenotype. It gives the plant an opportunity. The genetics decide what happens with that opportunity. And Pink Rosay Pheno B decided: "I'm going to stay tiny." 😂 Fair enough. I respect the commitment. 🌱 The Experiment Is Working Exactly As Intended This little plant is one of the best examples of why I wanted to run this 8×8 Adventure the way I did. If I had selected plants purely based on early size, she probably wouldn't have made the cut. And I would have missed this. I would have missed watching an extreme compact phenotype develop. I would have missed seeing how much flower she can actually carry inside that miniature architecture. And most importantly... I would have missed the lesson. Not every plant needs to be a monster. Not every phenotype needs to produce enormous numbers. Sometimes the value of a plant is simply in what it teaches you. And this little girl has already taught me plenty. 💗 The Sister Comparison Is Fascinating Her sister is a completely different story. Same genetic line. Same room. Same general cultivation philosophy. And yet... look at them. One is compact. The other is larger. One has a very compressed architecture. The other expresses herself differently. One looks almost miniature. The other carries herself like a more conventional flowering plant. And that's exactly what phenotype hunting is about. You don't grow two sisters to make them identical. You grow them to discover how different they can become. Pink Rosay Pheno B has certainly answered that question. Very different. She's developing beautifully, so consistency remains the priority. 🌬️ Tiny Doesn't Mean Forgotten One of the things I really enjoy about hand-watering this plant is that she gets exactly the same attention as the giants. She may be tiny. But she's still part of the experiment. Every time I approach her, I get to look at the flowers. Check the foliage. Watch the resin. Look for changes. And because she's so compact, it's actually incredibly easy to observe her closely. There aren't hundreds of centimetres of plant to inspect. Everything is right there. She's basically saying: "Come on. You can't miss me." 😂💗 And I don't. 🔭 Looking Ahead – I Have a Feeling About This One I'm not expecting a huge producer. Let's be realistic. She's 63 cm. She's a dwarf phenotype. Her total flowering structure is naturally limited by the amount of plant she has. But that's not what I'm watching anymore. I'm watching quality. I'm watching density. I'm watching resin development. I'm watching how those flowers mature. And I'm very curious to see where she ends up. Because she has already exceeded what I expected from her. She survived. She flowered. She developed. She became dense. And now she's getting increasingly frosty. That's already a win. And who knows... perhaps by the end of this journey, she will become an even more interesting little specimen than I expected. 💗 Maybe I Should Have Kept More Dwarfs This is something I've been thinking about. If this had been a smaller garden, I probably wouldn't have grown a phenotype like this. And that's exactly why having a larger project is so valuable. You get to see the extremes. You get to see the weird ones. The tall ones. The short ones. The explosive ones. The quiet ones. The strange ones. The beautiful ones. And sometimes... the tiny ones. Pink Rosay Pheno B belongs firmly in that last category. She's not here to win the height competition. She's not here to dominate the tent. She's here to show us what happens when her genetics decide: "We're going small." And honestly? I'm loving every minute of it. ❤️ Final Thoughts – The Little Dwarf I Almost Didn't Keep I think this might be my favourite part of Pink Rosay Pheno B's story. Not how big she is. Not how much she might produce. Not whether she can compete with her sister. It's the fact that she almost wouldn't have had this opportunity. If I had fewer plants, I might have looked at her and decided she wasn't worth the space. But because this is the 8×8 Adventure... she stayed. And now? I'm really glad she did. Because this little dwarf has become one of the plants I genuinely enjoy looking at. She's cute as fuck. 😂💗 She's tiny. She's compact. She's becoming extremely dense. She's getting frostier. She's beautifully structured. And she's completely comfortable being exactly what she is. I don't need her to become a giant. I don't need her to suddenly explode in size. I don't need her to prove anything. I just want to see her finish. And I have a feeling that when she does, whatever she gives us is going to be very, very nice. Perhaps later, when everything is finished and the entire garden has told its story, we'll decide what makes the most sense for this little harvest. But that's a story for another day. Right now... she's still growing. Still shining. Still getting frostier. Still being the tiniest girl in the room. And still making me smile every time I look at her. 🌸💗❄️ Pink Rosay Pheno B. The little dwarf. The tiny survivor. The compact beauty. The one I almost didn't keep... and the one I'm now very happy I did. So let's give her the spotlight. Because she has absolutely earned it. Hey everyone! Week 7 is here (2nd of flower) and here's what happened this week! 😃 - Both of my girls look very different from each other. Many things could've lead to this! - The one that's on the "front" is developing faster, her leaves are darker in color and they look long and thinner (more Sativa in her DNA?). Besides that? Not so much besides this was a very, veeeery hot week compared to previous ones and that one of my girl is no longer showing Magnesium deficiency, which is amazing! I'm really impressed how things are going so next week I'll start adding some extra PK and see how things develop. I want some biiiiig buds! 😍 Anyway, that's all for now. April 26, 2024 Day 71 It's a new week and the start of late flower. It was also cleaning day. Both reservoirs have been cleaned out and are freshly loaded with new water. This week we are focusing on watering and nutrients. I may start to drop the dose until flush, over this week and the next. The light power will also be gradually dropped down over the next 2 weeks. Not much this week, I think I'll drop the DLI down to 43 mol/m²/d in the middle of the week. Next week I'll drop it down to 38 mol/m²/d. It all depends on what the plants look like. The plants are getting ready to hunker down and finish up. Both have decent sized buds and just need to finish swelling. I'd say another 2 weeks maybe? Flushing will start at some point over the next 2 weeks as well. Flushing won't be much of a big deal as it's just cleaning the reservoirs and running a week of Flawless Finish. The environment is changing a bit as well. I dropped the day temp down to 75° and the night temps to 65° or lower. Not cold enough to cause stress, but enough to get some purple I hope. The humidity is sitting at 47% and I'll be leaving it there unless somehow I can get it to go lower. For now it's pretty solid at 47% and everything looks great, so no need to worry. I'll be taking trichome pics every few days. One pic for each plant. No point in loading up the whole photo gallery with even more daily pics. Plus, the progression of trichomes isn't fast enough to really notice daily. So every 3 days should be fine. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 47.7% VPD: 1.49 kPa April 27, 2024 Nothing happening today. Both ladies were inspected with no issues. I snipped a single leaf off of Banana Purple Punch B. Just one. Blocking bud sites. Banana Purple Punch A has some massive buds. About the size of golf balls. Maybe a bit smaller. They are still swelling and have a good 2 weeks left. Pistils are still mostly white, so that's a good sign for larger buds and more trichomes. Banana Purple Punch B is looking wonderful as ever. She doesn't seem to be suffering any issues with nutrient burn unlike her sister plant. She's perfectly healthy and has very nice bud production. The buds aren't quite as big as Banana Purple Punch A, but still nice and sizeable. The nutrient burn seems to have stopped for Banana Purple Punch A. So that's good. It should be perfectly fine now. Lighting is staying the same for the next couple of days. Although, I may keep it the same for the rest of the week. The environment is excellent now. It's raining today and the humidity is still at 47%. I did get it down to 44% for most of the afternoon yesterday, so I may be able to keep it down after the rain stops. Or just wait for the afternoon and see what happens. Either way, the humidity is now at 47% and the temp is at 76.8°. The VPD is at 1.57 kPa. A tiny bit high, but still well within range. Last night's temp was a little high at 69°. I'll have to drop the temp lower again to get that 65° sweet spot. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 45.7% VPD: 1.55 kPa April 28, 2024 Not much to do today. I mixed a new batch of nutrients for both plants. The only difference is that I cut the Overdrive in half down to 2 ml/gal. Neither plant needs it, but now it's mixed and ready to go. I may end up filling the reservoirs tonight as it stands. Or later this afternoon. I don't think they will last til tomorrow morning. Both plants are putting off a wonderful aroma. I honestly can't describe it. Like sweet and kind of a hint of banana and a bit heady. Trichome production is picking up quickly. The pistils are starting to turn orange as well. They are definitely in the late flowering stage. I think I'll start dropping the nutrients for the next watering. And I'll drop the DLI down to 40 mol/m²/d tomorrow I think. Not much else to say about nutrients or lighting, so moving on to the environment. It's a warm humid day out and raining off and on. My whole environment is wonky, with humidity being at 57% and the temp at 77°. I turned the AC on about an hour ago and the temp went down to 75°, and humidity up to 60%. I think I'll crank the AC all the way down. And hopefully get rid of the humidity with the temp being a bit lower than perfect. Update: I ended up adding about a half gallon of plain water to both reservoirs. Just Incase I have nutrient lockout or something. They should go through that by tomorrow afternoon. Maybe late evening. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.39 kPa April 29, 2024 No watering today. I'm still waiting for the plain water work it's way through. However, I did drop the light power. Both ladies look great. Big buds, great scent and nice color. I'm not seeing any fade yet, but the nutrient burn is still there. I hope it will fix itself with the plain water. And then maybe fading will start. These two need a good 2 weeks or so before harvest. The lighting, as I said, was changed today. I dropped the power down to 70% to get as close as possible to 40 mol/m²/d. I may have to drop it another 10%. I'm not too sure. I'll check the DLI again when I'm more awake. (I'm finally on my second cup of coffee. Lol) Looks good though. Just around where I want it to be. But there are a lot of spots where the DLI is a bit high at 43 mol/m²/d. The tallest tops are also kind of high at 45 mol/m²/d. Again, I'll double check on a couple hours, but it should be fine. The environment is wonky again today. The temp is fine, but the humidity is still high at 60% and I don't see a way to drop it again. Not with the current weather. Hopefully I can get it down with some heat. The AC method did not work. Well, it maybe will work tonight. I'll be dropping that bad boy down to 59° tonight and hopefully it will do what I need it to. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.15 kPa April 30, 2024 Watering day. The reservoirs were both nearly empty and there was just enough space for a full gallon in each one. It's the normal nutrient dose with Overdrive being at 2 ml/gal. These two plants are looking mighty fine. Excellent bud swelling and trichome production. I'm definitely going to be wet trimming them instead of my normal dry trim. I may leave the bods on the branches and do a partial wet trim, or I guess mostly wet trim. They smell great! Very strong aroma now. I swear they smell like artificial grape. I can't describe it any other way. Grape and pungent. Awesome. So far the light seems to be fine. No reaching or showing any signs of lack of lighting. They look pretty happy. Although, Banana Purple Punch A is a bit sad from nutrient burn. Banana Purple Punch B however didn't seem to have much of a problem with the burn. The environment is still pretty wonky. High humidity again. I can control the temp pretty easily, but the humidity is another issue. It's currently sitting at 56% and I'm holding the temp at 76°. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 57.0% VPD: 1.26 kPa May 1, 2024 Not a whole lot going on today. No water needed, no light changes. I rotated both ladies 180° so now they are getting light on other sides. I'll leave them like this for the rest of the grow I think. Banana Purple Punch A actually fits better in the new position. Less wall touching and about the same neighboring plant touching. I also removed 3 leaves. Ones that were misshapen from being crushed against the tent walls. Banana Purple Punch B seems to fit a little better in the new position, mostly because of her sister plant. More room on the outside and a little less room inside. No leaves were removed today. I'll reserve that for the last 2 days of the grow cycle. Then I'll do a massive defoliation and then a wet trim. It's humid here right now and I need the space. Otherwise I'd stick with dry trimming. But I can't hold up the tent for 3 more weeks. I have other plants getting ready to be planted in their final containers. Like a week for that, I might be able to squeeze a week and a half, but that's it. They will have a space, but the main tent is where they will need to be. Not a 2x2 dry tent. I'll work it how I need to I guess. Anyway, both ladies look great! Trichome production is coming along nicely as well. They are very smelly now and I love it. They are also still packing on weight I think. Not a ton, but the buds are clearly getting denser now that some of the pistils are starting to turn orange. I'd say another 2 weeks on these two. As I said, the lighting hasn't changed at all. Not for another few days to a week. Then it will have another power drop. Until then, we are staying at a DLI of 40 mol/m²/d. It's roughly 38 mol/m²/d on the outer part of the canopy. The environment is STILL wonky. I cannot for the life of me get that damned humidity down at all. Not with a dehumidifier, not with the heat cranked, not with the AC cranked. I'll try my big dehumidifier in my room, but the humidity is like 49% and frankly I'd rather the room humidity stay there. Much easier to breathe. However, the humidity in the tent is suffering at 59% while the temp is hanging out still at 76° Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.27 kPa May 2, 2024 Not a lot going on today. No watering needed, no trimming, nothing. I found a broken bud on Banana Purple Punch A. It must have been from when it was against the wall, or too close to the other plants and got stuck on a branch while I was rotating. Oh well. It's a lower bud, so not huge. It's also the last day of the week and that means new videos! For the rest of the grow, I'll be making weekly videos of the individual plants. So that will.be this week and the next 2 weeks or so. Banana Purple Punch A looks great aside from that one broken bud. Her buds are fat and thick. Super dense from what I can see. I would like to note that the fade hasn't started yet, so we still have that 2 weeks left. Unless it starts in the next day or 2, I'll be banking on 2 weeks. Banana Purple Punch B is still compact as ever, but her buds are getting fatter everyday and of all the plants in the tent, she has done the best with the nutrients. Very little burn and didn't seem to be bothered by it. Maybe I did something early on to have such a small plant, but still. I think I can bank on 2 oz from each plant. Maybe 3 oz. It's really nothing compared to previous grows, but as I said before, as long as it's fire, I'm happy. Trichome production on both plants is fantastic. They are loaded from top to bottom. And building more and more everyday. There's still plenty of time left for there 2 as well. Most of the trichomes are clear with about 20% being cloudy and sparsely amber. That's another sign that they need another couple of weeks. Maybe slightly less. I increased the light power yesterday back up to 80%. I think I was a bit early on the intensity drop, so I'll drop it again in a few days I think. Around mid week coming up. Now we are running a DLI of 43 mol/m²/d inside and 40 mol/m²/d on the outside. The environment kinda fixed itself, but not to the ideal climate. It's still at 55% humidity. Better than 60%, but still not good enough. It needs to be below 50%. However, I can still control the temp and I have it at 74.5°. I'll turn it up a bit and see if I can clear out the last 5% of the humidity. I can’t believe how much these girls have grown in seven days. I have been watering every seven days with recharge 1 tsp / gal for the last three weeks and the last four hours of the evening on watering days I have been soaping them down with insecticidal soap followed up by neem oil. I asked if anyone took their plants outside on another site as mine seemed to love the great weather the past three weekends, and the pest disease issue came up. I hadn't previously thought about that, and looking back, I am glad that I have been using some IPM.

Smells amazing, buds are greesy to the touch…serious genetics from fast buds!

This week was amazing guys. I literally watched the buds getting fat day by day. I am still feeding with a similar program and adding Aptus Regulator once per week to boost silica and some other minerals like molybdenum and boron. I'm flowering my plants in a hot environment with CO2 boost. PPFD is high to support these settings and thankfully my the pots aren't getting hot. No fungus gnats or any other pests, no root rot and bad smell. Everything is perfectly neat and buds are exploding. My expectations from this harvest is really high and I'll keep adding CO2 for another week. Some fellow growers asked for CO2 and PPFD measurements. I am sharing these information on this week's pictures. I got my CO2 meter fixed and I tested the CO2 PPM in different places of the canopy. Typical value for this grow tent with this CO2 setup is around 1100-1350. Temperature is fluctuating between 28-31 and the average PPFD on the bud sites is 1100 micro moles. I'm sharing CO2 measurements right under the fan, where you expect it to show the lowest value. Then I'll also share the CO2 PPM value coming out from the air pipe, which is normally attached to the grill of the fan. Direct output is now around 5500PPM and in the first two days, the meter shows 10000PPM which is the max value that it can reads. This bucket yeast CO2 reactor lasts for four days and I'm refreshing the mixture twice a week. This is huge CO2 with a fairly low cost compared to propane burners or CO2 tubes. Edit: I refreshed the CO2 bucket today and got you guys a video of the direct output. The system is outputting more than 10000PPM of CO2 and the meter can't measure it for the first two days. This CO2 method is a killer one for tent grows. Very low cost for very high CO2 concentrations. Hope these information helps. Happy growing 💪
