Pbb has been chopped! Saw a decent amount of amber trichomes and the calyxes were quite swollen also she has been fading beautifully for quite some time now. Went into the dark for 48hours then I trimmed any dead leaves off and a few larger easy to reach leaves. She’s hanging in a dark tent now with a fan blowing at the bottom of the tent. Ducting to my flower tent to keep it from stagnating. Frost is starting to fade and swelling quite well. Afghani is getting a much more complex smell not as sweet as before still looks like looks like at least 2 weeks for her. They have all just been getting water for a while now.

I started 14 seeds by soaking them in a glass of water for 48-72hrs then planting directly into the soil. Within 48hrs all 14 sprouted and emerged into there journey of life. Super excited for these and to see how they'll grow. Last time I grew it and Drysifted the flowers and turned it into some premium hash it placed in the Universe Cup in Germany. Today i changed the light from Mars Hydro300W classic to MH TS1000. Can tell straight away its much brighter and more like the sun. Hopefully it’ll be better and they grow strong! Ive had the ladies in their 2 litre fibre pots and been watering a bit more now that they’re out of the propagator since 3 days ago. Actually i took them out late i suppose, and maybe the reason one of them has splotches is because of the high humidity of those couple of nights i thought it would be ok without the extraction fan for a few hours, however the ranges were going from like 90-70 or something. Anyway they’re big enough now to be outside on their own. Might be a bit late to start nutrients but going to pick some up on the weekend and start them off on Biobizz standard nutrient. Got to be watering more than i have as today noticed on 2 of them the leaves were drooping. Think they should be watered twice and around 75ml per plant but still getting used to these fibre pots that dry out quickly. Last thing i want is to screw it up early and lose any of these precious babies. Going to ask a couple questions to clear up some queries i got. Till next week...

This girl is booming along colas starting to swell even more trichome coverage starting to reeks of rotten fruit kinda burns my nose a bit lol looks like she only has a few weeks left still waiting for the fade to start setting in loving these purple tips I'm going to get these branches spread out to get more light to inner colas she's so bushy don't look like I defoliated her but I did the added calmag had really helped I haven't seen any calmag spots so far running 6.2 ph lights at 100 percent give her a gallon of water every couple days now that I'm in late flowering I run one 24 hr cycle then let her rest for 8 hrs stopped using recharge jus feeding her heavy now starting to taper off so I can strating hitting her with the carbo flush and getting her ready for harvest so here's to another week of growing lfg

Welcome to week 3 of flower for these fine ladies! As the stretching period comes to and end in about a week or so I'm excited to see the plant's develop their flowers. Some of the plants have already developed quited the frost for their age and as the cycle continues its just going to get more pronounced. Some of the plants are giving off a faint smell now mostly the Banana Smoothie smelling of cream and bananas so far. Overall I'm really pleased with what's going on so far and can't wait for further development of the flowers! Wont be long till we see some giant flowers covered in trichomes! Recap: Things went very well this week, some of the plants are starting to put out a smell and everyone's pumping trichomes like crazy! With about a week or so left on the stretching period I will be looking to place my secondary nets very very soon. Just fed AgroThrive Organic Fertilizer - Fruiting & Flowering on Chemdawg on day 88, straight water on the rest PPMs are still high at 2914 average with acid run offs of 5 but plants look pretty good the CD looked hungry so fed it the PPM on it prior was the lowest of the 6. I ordered a High CFM Kit so I can get some of my space back, as is my 5x5 is more of a 4x4 & I could use the space right now.

Week 11 complete. It’s been another week of just watering every other day. One of the girls is almost ready for a flush. The other two still have a couple weeks to go but they keep getting bigger and bigger buds. Can’t wait to chop one of these girls down I can almost feel it. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) A seed germinated via skotomorphogenesis (in the dark) will generally develop faster in its initial stages to reach light, though it will be etiolated (elongated and weak) and will switch to slower, more robust photomorphogenesis (light development) once it emerges into light. While skotomorphogenesis is a rapid, growth-oriented process for soil escape, it's a temporary phase; photomorphogenesis is a more sustainable development program that prepares the seedling for photosynthesis. 18/6 with the 6 being IR instead of darkness, keeping temps overnight a neat 77F-80F. PPFD overnight 1.8. Think of my tent as a lung. What goes in must come out. When the rate of air going out exceeds the amount of air coming in, it creates a negative pressure. Tent concaves (bends in). If set up correctly, your RH will begin to drop slowly to the desired level you set, and the extraction turns off when it reaches 50% RH. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always be releasing more water into the air, so the RH% of the tent overnight will always increase, so long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over, this creates a strong pressure differential which will work wonders on your grow. replicating high and low pressure fronts in nature, critical for oxygen diffusion, but more importantly, full control of your RH%. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, resulting in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow slower to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. Harvest is right around the corner. You can start seeing some amber trichomes so she's almost there. I flushed this week and will be flushing next week. Bushy little mama. Removed the tobacco plants as they were taking over the tent. She is on her lonesome now so she can make full use of the space available. Looking like she needs some defoliation pretty soon. 3/10 Gave her a radical defoliation. Took away about 85% of all the larger fan leaves and some lower canopy growth. I want all the plants energy to go into flowering and developing large kolas. Don't expect the auto clone to get much bigger, so won't be potting up, but she may produce a decent kola.

Day 64 - I've been patiently waiting for the time to come, and it's finally here! Changed the lights over to 12/12 to send the tent into flower. Current light settings R99 W99 B50 as suggested by California Lightworks. I did a full reservoir change - switching over to bloom nutes. I also added some Si28 and P31 Microbes to the reservoir to test out this new product that I was fortunate enough to receive samples of. I've seen the results of others with crazy booming root growth.... Let's see what happens! Day 65 - I swear, it's like she's been waiting for me to flip the light cycle. I kicked one plant out of the tent so now there's even more room for improved air circulation and light distribution. This plant is a serious beast! Day 67/ Day 3 of Flower - Last massive round of defoliation before I sit back and let her do her thang. ✌️

8/19 Monday Fast Buds Strawberry Gorilla just woke up, RSQ Medusa sprouted yesterday. So far so good. What a great Monday!!!! It's evening now, and Dark Devil Auto from Sweetseeds is clawing her way out from hell!!!!!! Yeah!!!! Still waiting on Blueberry in the mostly perlite mix so might not work, and Pink Kush she will be along soon. 8/20😈😈😈😈😈 Every single one clawed their way out of hell...100 percent success !!!!!!! 11am Dark Devil might need some assistance with her shell, looks awesome...... I've been dancing with the Dark Devil Auto in the pale moon light and it's pretty cool. 👹 This is the first time I didn't kill any seeds... when I get out of practice my germination rates are bad.... Im still learning to grow in 1 gallon. My health has gone to hell so I can only move smaller plants now...so much fun though. Easier AND I can do smaller 4 cola grows...they dry in 1 or 2 days NO WAITING for curing or 10 days to dry...it's just the BEST!!!!!!! 8/21 1 am Everyone is looking good a little worried about Dark Devil I may have helped too much again... I planted another dark devil auto seed just in case I’m not sure this one is really gonna work and if it does then I’ll have two of them growing in one and I’ll have a double Devil auto it’ll work. I’m pretty sure.👍👍 8/22 I took off the paper light diffuser I made raised the light up a few inches and have it at 50 Watts now. They are looking good. I replanted Dark DEvil seed maybe 2 will grow?? Halloween 8/23 8/24 Dark Devil Auto took off and the other one looks like she's trying to grow!!! 🚨 I was noticing some light stress since some of them are a week behind the other one I went ahead and turned the lights down to 45 W until all the plants are a little more stable. I just don’t wanna move them to another tent and turn another set of lights on. I’m trying to do this for low energy and heat as I can. They are responding well to turning the lights down 5 watts👍and Dark Devil Auto is being a devil, she has MASSIVE personality, she tricks me then wakes up..... I love when I can really connect with the plants sometimes they are like pets and they respond to you like pets. not very often but it happens . I successfully did a minor surgery on Dark Devil Auto, her cotyledon was stuck together so I used a razor and a paperclip for counter weight and CAREFULLY cut the seed coating off of it. Now I will have 2 in the same pot!!! So cool I never did that before and it worked!!!!!! Love my Dark Devil!!! 8/24 2 pm Switched to 18 hour lights 8/25 12 hours later and the cotyledon surgery was a success!!! First time I tried that. 10 am, Dark Devil is ALIVE, I got more cotyledon microscope pics and you can see inside, she's a go. 330 pm end of week.

Start of Week 9 - Day 57 06/28: The ladies are looking amazing! Aaliyah and Alexis have a lot of buds coming up. Annie is starting her stretch, so I’ve been moving around some of the leaves that are blocking the light to the cola branches. As of now she’s standing at 20” from the top of the coco. Alexis is now at 27” and Aaliyah has reached a height of 30” from the top of the coco. That height definitely caught me off guard! Still keeping waterings at every day and a half and EC and pH levels in runoff are good. A few of the lower leaves on the plants have yellowed and withered up, but I think it’s just the plants themselves getting rid of leaves that aren’t getting light. Overall the ladies are looking great! Can’t wait to see how much progress they make this week. 06/30: Checked in the gals and by my surprise they have all grown two inches. Aaliyah is now 32” tall and has pretty much grown into the light. Luckily I went with the LEDs so there’s not much heat. Hand up to the light is still cooler than the sun on some days. Her buds have started forming and are now covered with pistils. Annie is still creeping her way into flowering and is now at 22”. Hopefully she doesn’t get as tall as Aaliyah. Alexis is now at 29”. I have to admit, I was worried Alexis wasn’t going to do well. She didn’t look as healthy as the other two when she was a seedling. But that has changed. She looks extremely healthy and although she is in a 3-gallon pot and isn’t as big as Aaliyah, she still has a lot of buds sites coming up. I’m glad she made it. More for the yield. 07/02: Watered the ladies. EC levels in runoff are good. pH in Aaliyah’s runoff is a little low, so I’m going to keep an eye on her. She’s now at 34” tall, but I tied her down. It was either this, or no light. Hopefully she takes it okay. Her buds are really starting to grow. Annie is now at 24”. She is currently on her stretch. Hopefully she doesn’t get as tall as Aaliyah. Alexis is at 32” and looking great. As of now I’ve seen no pests inside the tent, or on the trap I put up. But I did see a few flies while watering that looked more like fruit flies than fungus gnats. Hopefully they are and the pest problem is solved. 07/04: The ladies keep growing! Aaliyah is now at 33” because of the new bending, Alexis is at 34” (I just bent her main cola down), and Annie is at 25 1/2”. With Alexis at 34” she has also passed my light. Since Aaliyah seems to be doing okay with the bending, I decided to bend Alexis down as well. Annie is going into her stretch. Found a dead fly in tray and a live one on the trap. I guess my problems continue. I gave the ladies a good amount of water (4500mL for Annie!) and am going to leave the next watering for two days now. Hopefully this can help. These girls are doing real well. Earlier in the week I found a few nut sacks on the far right plant I pulled them off as I found them. If anything, the right plant will be slightly seeded. But the other girls show no signs of slowing down. The left plant has a good smell going on already.
