Otra es la comodidad para bajar o subir la potencia y la posibilidad de añadirle un controlador que monitorea la temperatura de la sala de cultivo, el fotoperiodo y la intensidad, así como la atenuación de potencia. Esta semana cansado de ir bajando o subiendo la potencia del extractor durante todo el año he decidido probar un SMSCom Smart Controller. De esta manera espero no sufrir tanto por las subidas ni por las bajadas de temperatura. Muchas veces son las que por A o por B descuido el interior y casulamente son los dias que el tiempo cambia repentinamente. Un primer foliar con Delta9 para que se pongan fuertes para lo que les viene.

So the plants survived without light in my garage for 2 days, thank goodness! FBP2 is the best plant by far. She had stacked lots of tight buds, orange pistils coming in nice. Nice bushy structure to her. Super happy with her progress. Royal Critical is doing great, progressed further than all the others so far, lots of orange pistils, curling inwards towards the buds, still white pistils too, so not ready obviously. Not as dense a structure as FBP2, but much better than FBP1 and FBP3, which you can see are way behind both the others. They're looking super straggly. Not sure that they'll improve much at this stage unfortunately. Still I'm pleased overall with this grow, as it's my first and I have learnt a lot about the necessity for LST, and genetics being different from plant to plant. Hopefully we'll be able to harvest the Royal Critical here soon, then FBP2. As for the other 2 plants, I guess I'll have to wait and see.

What a week this was!! All sorts of curve balls... Correcting the overfeed... temp and humidity issues... a couple nanners...throw in a power outage today... It seems like I'm going to check all the "don't do" boxes before the end of the grow... haha!! Well, the plants are definitely telling me they are finishing up! The buds are tightening up and the fan leaves are shrinking in size... I definitely stunted these 2 plants with all I've put them through... I'm hoping they will still reward my efforts!! It's certainly not from lack of effort... I'll be watching the buds really closely from here on out... for amber trichomes and more potential nanners... Cheers to hopefully and successfully crossing the finish line!! Also, only a couple videos... not much for visually "exciting action" with fattening buds... only the hope for the harvest to come!

Weather is getting a bit better this week. Almost no rain anymore and much more sun comparing to last week. Blueberry Ghost OG and Kali AK still don't want to start flowering, but they slowed down from growing taller at least, so there are hope of they to start flowering soon (hopefully).

The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. Coming at you guys with my second grow here. I started late this diary, vegging is boring anyway. These guys should be done within the next week or two. I’ve honestly never smelled anything like the strawberry currently in my tent. I’ve been growing for a while and have been skeptical with the naming choices these breeders make. My last run I grew a strawberry crinkle. It didn’t have the slightest smell of sweetness. This girl is packing some unique Turpines and I can’t wait to try it.

So, like i said the 🍋🍒🍪 all ready for ✂️, it’s been a pleasure to grow these, will deffo be growing these again, maybe just after Xmas!🤔, now to dry them and cure them with the attention they deserve… gorilla cookies looking💥 won’t be long at all untill there ready, maybe 2 weeks max.. untill next time!👊🏻

Hair been watering and now it's harvest time. Two of the three phenos are super frosty #1 and #2 both more kushy , sweet gassy american OG taste. The third is a lot sweeter. The Mac x pp is blackberry x shoreline aroma.

Still only feeding water, I put them into 4ltr pots so they won't want food for a few weeks, flipped to 12/12 on day 35

8/19/2023 Day 46 Veg: she is finally starting to develop some additional branching. I've been LST and leaf tucking. I was thinking about doing some additional defoliating, but I don't want to slow down her growth anymore. 8/20/2023: started the subirrigation today, with filtered water with a 6.0 ph. 8/21/2023: she is definitely reacting positively to the bottom watering. She was praying more than usual this morning, so hopefully the growth will continue to puck up speed now. 8/23/2023: defoliated a few more of the big fan leaves, to allow more light to the lower branches. 8/24/2023: had to fill up the water again for the subirrigation. Used plane water with a 6.2 ph. Plant is doing great.
