This week went by fast! They're growing really fast and always hungry! They're getting ready for the flower stage and entering Bloom. They're getting 2L of H20 per day that's pH at 6.8. I water 2x a day! I turn them on at 6am and give them 1L of H20 at 9am that way they're awake and 1L of H2O at 9pm that way they're split. I feed my nutrients at the 9am watering. I pH my nutrient mix somewhere between 5.8 and 6.2. I also have amended the soil with Soil Recharge and that's once a week as well as the Fish Shit and The Stash Blend. Then, I always flush with only pH H20 the day after any nutrient mix. Overall, the plants are healthy and I'm waiting to see how they turn out!

Fattening week, putting more weight on the buds, first brown hairs appearing.. Had to add some support to that huge buds, because this was a windy week and i think it is better prevention than lament the loss later.... used steel string. Feeding with High PK, same as last week: / -WATER- / -BIG ONE- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / -WATER- / -TOP BUD- + -TOP BLOOM- + -TOP CANDY- / Good vibes!!!

Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

I skipped a week it's just been way too hot surprisingly she hasn't shown any signs of stress n is growing very nicely no nutrients burn I am getting some weird like yellow dots on like one or two leaves but other then that love the growth hopefully I can stay up to date this coming up week

was a solid week. all green, all happy. the birthday cake auto seems to be coming around. so today i set the lights to 12 12 .. lets see how the flower. ive done all what i can in ability and space to set them up i hope. i find mixing nutrients in calcium water (thicker density, almost milk,) produces a quicker visible result in the plants and also you seem to get less variation in how they take the days feed. It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week !
