Welcome to my next grow/experiment! Really excited to grow my first Mephisto Genetics! I have too many options so my girlfriend picked these seeds to grow first. I have plans to top once and hopefully be successful at making a clone to reverse. From there I’d like to maybe make some F1, and S1 seeds as well as breed it with the cultivar sharing the tent: Fastbuds Amnesia Zkittlez. This freebie seed had a slower start but they all popped! Started off germinating on Saturday 2/3 by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours before transferring to a wet paper towel. On Tuesday 2/6 tap roots were present (one was barely coming out) and they were moved to rapid rooter plugs and put into a humidity dome. On 2/11 they had sprouted up 1.5” and were transferred to the top fed RDWC system. Filled the reservoir following General Hydroponics 10 part chart at light strength and diluted by 50%. SE7000 is ~30” above at 40% providing ~270ppfd.

8/18 1:54 AM MONDAY goats are doing great. I took some clones. I think I’ll start some new ones. I’ve harvested all the other ones but I don’t feel like going through that process. 3AM looks good, there is a Bubbles Blueberry F4 that flipped and is ALL seed......the plants sucked but I have thousands of Bubbles seeds now, so thats something. 3:30 AM I found flowers on all of the bubbles blueberry F floor plants. I can’t even describe really what it is. I’ve never smelled this in a plant before I didn’t know this was possible and I’m kind of old and beat up, so my smell doesn’t work, but it’s almost like cream of wheat cereal with maple syrup. It’s the craziest thing it’s just absolutely beautiful.🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊👍👍👍👍👍

So, this is my first grow, just starting out. After NJ passed recreational weed, I was like you know what... Went on an amazon spending spree and got some seeds from cropkingseeds and this is it! I let the seeds soak for 18hr in deer park spring water w/ 1 drop of Organic Liquid Seaweed and Kelp Fertilizer Supplement by Bloom City. At the end of soakage, it didn't look like any had cracked maybe one did not so sure. So I did up the papertowels according to the video and have to say I feel a little nervous/anxious that there is too much water/weight on the seeds and feer drownage. I'm going to keep it on there though. I check the towels a few times throughout the day and am surprised they're very moist throughout the day and next morning still somewhat damp. 24 hours in the towels I check my babies and one had cracked but the rest were still sealed up tight, unwilling to share the goodness that we all so desire, cmon babies crack that shell for papa! 11/12 looked like 1 seed popped, yay! I remoistened towels a bit but didn't wanna soak them. I also put some rapid rooters in water to soak overnight gunna throw the seeds in them in AM... I was going to do it tonight but figured I should wait see if some pop out more. 11/13 OMG upon checking seeds at 07:10 I found the papertowels like bone dry OMG WTF!!! Panic sets in but I just set up the little terrarium with 6 plugs and put the seeds in and tore some plugs off bottom of a plug to cover seedhole with. 11/14 Got a sprout! YES!! The plugs look nice and moist just going to let it go! 11/15 Woke up this mornin, saw a new sprout peeking thru and then another about to! I got ansy and took off the little top plugs and found all the sprouts were coming up! Leaving the top plug off, hopefully thats not a bad idea.

I swapped over to organic nutes part way through this grow cocked up with the medium I used anyway she's doing alright and has produced some very nice solid buds

This girl is really starting to thicken up! She smells so damn good!!! The buds have loads of trichomes. The buds almost look as good as ones grown indoor. 🤞 the weather stays nice. Although I built her a shelter that I can put poly over 😏 😎🍿

This girl is stacking so nicely for someone who got very little grow time outdoors before the onset of flower. 2nd generation of shogun I have grown but never smoked, so I still don't know if its any good. LoL Something tells me this one is going to be something special. Lets see.

Plants are doing well, The 84" inch tent is a must if your not training or topping. I removed all the sacks that appeared last week and I haven't seen anymore show up so fingers cross, I check daily. Bigger tent also helps with heat control as the air has more room to rise. Hope you all like the pictures, I started to take videos as they provide more detail with less work.

There as big as they can be for my space so I'm switching to 12/12 Ive also switched the IR on as it's supposed to speed up the flowering transition. It's a new light to me at the moment from geeklight it's 3000k 320w v4 lm301H with added 660nm switchable IR and UV. I've got it 40cm from the plants and have been using a lux meter app on my phone. (don't have par meter) I read online that 50000 max in veg and 65000 to70000 max in veg is about right but I'm just turning it up as I go. The plants are very compact compared to HPS. My light spread over 120x60cm is really good in comparison to a 440w HPS. If anyone has experience with quantum boards I'm open to advice?

This week I've been maintaining the new seedlings, helping a growmie with some trimming work and staying on top of my flower tent to the best of my ability. Mr. Wowie took down the first plant from his harvest of some Killer Queen bag seeds he had been saving for a few years. He was able to microscope out his trichomes well, with a 45x microscope with a display screen, he got from Amazon. This tool gave him a way better view than a jewelers loupe. He was able to take the plant down after a dry, and we trimmed it up. We were able to use our Cannabrush Trim Brushes, our Harvest More Trim Bins, and two pairs of snippers too make short work of it. The buds came out awesome! Shout out to the homie on the harvest! As for my garden today I went ahead and gave the seedlings and the companion clones in the same tent, a dose of Mykos WP with the Trinity from Roots Organic. The Trinity has a Black Strap Molasses, Saponin blend (Q and Yucca), and added Kelp Extract which I've noticed works great when combined with the Mykos WP. Temps have been around 77-79 daily and humidity around 50%. I have been able to start using my hand sprayer instead of a spray bottle for watering now, since the seedlings are now large enough to be watered instead of misted. I'm still using the AC Infinity Seedling Fan in the tent to provide a little air flow. I'm hoping to get another 14 days or so out of these little seedling pots, then I plan on transplanting to half gallons until I can finish my flower run to save tent space. Ethos Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- The Ethos Seedling has been growing awesome! It looks like it should start its full vegetative growth stage soon! It has been drinking it's water in it's seedling pot nicely. It no longer needs its bread tie and binder clip support I made for it and stands tall on its own. It's leaves are green and begining to come in almost daily. It still stands at 6 inches, so it looks like it finally found a PAR range it wants to be in and stopped it's stretch. Good for me. I now have the PPFD sitting at around 110. HSO/ Geist Grow Tow Truck- This seedling still looks weird! Its two leaves have a white strip across them and don't look very healthy. The new growth being generated by the plant appears lush and green so I believe it's growing out of whatever is going on. It surely hasn't stopped drinking water, it still keeps up with all it's companion plants and has been growing new growth and keeps on trucking! No pun intended 😅 I'll remove the effected leaves once there are a few more leaves available for the plant to use. It stands at 3 inches tall and hasn't had any trouble standing up since sprouting. Raspberry Ripple (Flower Tent)- The Flower Tent is on day 25, The number one phenos are doing awesome in the larger 15 gallon grassroots pots with cover crop. The number two phenos are in 5 gallons again this run but also seem to be doing better than last time and the nugs are larger than last time at this stage in flower. I'm not sure if this is to do with the new light (HLG Blackbird) or because I've been doing a slightly heavier feeding of build a flower this run or maybe because i used light doses of build a bloom weekly for the first 3 weeks. Im chalking it up to a combination of everything. I reammended some old soil to use in the 15 gallon pots. I also mixed it with new soil at a 50/50 ratio. This worked well but I could tell it was lacking a little at first. After a few waterings and a build a bloom feeding it all sorted out. I've been plucking some awkward leaves here and there! Heeeey guys! 👋 Sorry for the very late update! I had so many things going on but now I can finally update the diary! This is the last week before harvest and I kept an eye on my plants pretty much all the time! When I started to notice more amber trichomes were appearing I knew that my babies were finally ready! I just wanted a small amount of CBN, so probably I reached a good balance! Besides that I believe everything was quite relaxing and simple this week. Their smell was wonderful! I also trimmed by babies almost everyday, I kept removing the most ugly leaves to allow some of the lower buds to develop a little more this final week! I stopped watering them 4 days before harvest and then I gave them one day of total darkness. I hope you all enjoy the videos and photos! Thanks!
