Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell that this is the faster and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. I really hope that this "rule" will help noob growers and maybe will help other growers to improve their skills. I personally do the step by step draw guide. Moin, Die 8. Blütewoche ist fast durch und die White Sweet Candy OG geht weiter ihren Weg. Die süßen kushigen Blüten verströmen mittlerweile ein wirklich intensiven Geruch und in den letzten 7 Tagen ist noch mal mehr Masse dazu gekommen und die Buds gehen in die Abreife über. Bis auf darauf, daas 2 Tage etwas zu wenig mit Drain gegossen wurde und somit leichte Adlerkrallen gebildet wurden gab es keine Auffälligkeiten. Beim Düngen reduziere ich nun langsam den Stickstoffanteil, Silizium wird spätestens zum Ende der 8. Blütewoche ganz aus dem Düngeschema entfernt, Calcium und Magnesium wurden noch leicht erhöht, da die Z leichte Anzeichen eines Cal-(Mag) Mangel anzeigte, die White Sweet Candy OG hatte es eigentlich nicht gebraucht, da beide aber über den gleichen Tank laufen hatte ich hier keine wirkliche Wahl. Ziel ist ein EC Wert von 1 bis 1,2 Ende der 10. Blütewoche. Sonst wirken die Trichome relativ sandig und ggf. werden ich endlich mal dazu kommen ein bisschen WPFF Hash zu waschen.

Big Bud Autoflower grew great till right at bulking in flowering. I misjudged the feed, and was light causing her ph to swing up and just happen to be right during bulking. So lost some bulk. I will revist her one day. She has a great smell, and layer of frost. Still gotva lot of bud that smells great and looks very potent. Will be back with results once she is dry, and processed. Day 136. Girl is in flower mode, stretching and in video looks amazing, photos don't show real beauty .... Still no feed, but think to top dress her this Saturday before holidays ... And to clear bottoms a bit too. I don't want to overconcentrate her because of bud rot. Happy Growing !

Gary Patron - Nine Weeks Harvest Day 122 🚿 I've watered her every three days with 2L of RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3👌🏻 I'll be leaving her to dry back over the next couple of days in preperation for harvest, which is a few days from now 💪 ✂️ No work on her this week, as I gaver her a good defoliation last week - she will be getting a wet trim and more defoliation a day or two before I harvest her. 🌸 Shes in week nine of bloom, and her flower is absolutely covered in trichomes, mabye the most I've ever seen - the majority of her trichomes have turned milky clear with some ambers starting to appear. Her pistils have also all dried and turned amber, which on the backing of her vibrant lime green flower with some purple tips, is both striking and inviting. I will leave her to finish maturation over the next couple of days, while I fight with the temperatures trying to keep them in the 20's with the weather we're having at the moment! I'd say shes about 3-5 days from harvest at this point 👍

Welcome growfessors to week 4F in the 4x8. LSD, Green Crack and Divine storm are showing the most discoloration, however the bud sites continue to bulk up and frost is showing. Both Mandarin dreams strains, 4 of pheno 1 and 2 of pheno 2 all look good, with a bit of discoloration starting to show. A bit of defoliation and removal of any dead leaves. Not much else to say, they look happy and a bulking up nicely. Tune in next week growfessors for another episode 👽🌳💚

Week 11 - The buds are stretching and getting bigger. She is huge did not expect that and I was not prepare which can cost me in yield/quality but will see.

Time to Acclimate! Small dose of nutrients & LEDs will go from 50 -75% over the course of the next week. ~~~~~~~~~~ Roots look good, transplanted and ready to explode through veg! Nutrients will be on next week's post - the above is what I use to acclimate.
