Another successful harvest have been made and I can surely tell I'm pretty amazed for how this strain showed off its potential! A downside is that yield will not be big, but overall I'm definitely satisfied. After 48 hours in the dark, I chopped her and here we are now, end of week 9, at the 2nd day of drying in a paper box, my estimation is other 5 full days before starting the curing period. I'll update next week with the harvest and I'll add some pics of the main buds fully dried. Hope you like the bloody pics I've updated today, I've really impressed of the resin, I cannot really wait to taste it... Yummy! For now it's all lads, stay tuned and stay high!

Thanks for tuning in again. The ladies have been flipped. Few days before i have been adjusting my light schedule by reducing the light period by 15 every day to get them accustom to the longer nights. must say that the RH in the tent which used to be around 65 on a good day is now around 70%. Will have to ring out the dehumidifier. They are still on the same water regime but i think during this flower period they consume more water. Also I am unsure how to properly defoliate these ladies. So much mixed literature on the topic. I need to though as the girls are getting bushy and I have found some leaves on laying on top of other leaves and forming wet surfaces. A prime environment for PM and other shit that wanna mess with my harvest.

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. So, I start the harvest last week, but didn't get time to post here, first were the top bud, and this week I got the rest of the plant, it is a good strategy as the lower buds could develop a little more! Amazing growth! I am very happy with the wield, it was my 3 growth at all and my first LST! Great results! Thank you all for the support! Now I will stop for 3 months, going to Africa for a little bit! :-)

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. Just started 3rd week of flowering. Everything is goin smooth, plants stacking nice and drinking almost a gallon a day.

I am happy to announce a new beginning! This time there will be new genetics and seed banks that I haven't tried so far, so I'm very curious to see how it will turns out!🤞🏻☺️ Also it will be the second round for my beloved Runtz Muffin that i promised to bring it back.😁 Now I just need to wait until these seeds will go for 18 hours in a glass with water and then I will transfer them to the paper towel to make them germinate properly and finalize the process in their pots once the sprout stretches by at least 2-3 cm. ☮️💚 Happy growing and positive vibes to everyone 🙌🏻💚 ⚠️ 16-05-21 UPDATE ⚠️ Today i put these little girls into their 1L pots. Week Five and Flowering has begun Will fold in Bio-Bloom and replace Fix Mix with Bio-grow , may add some Phos via top dressing as well. Yellowing continues to recede just not fast enough for my comfort. Brandy has obviously stunted considerably and Maggie at least somewhat. Could not expect differently Moving to Flowering tent soon as its clear, couple of days at most 10/28 UPDATE Going to play on a couple of hunches at next watering. Need to get a TDS meter soon, got a feeling it would help. Ever since we went to BioBizz we have experienced a variety of oddness in the vein of this grow. Now long term since we are switching to coco and Flora nuet line that is solved but short term I am switching to Dr. Earth Flower Girl for remainder of grow. Every feeding/watering will be @6.5 PH to 20% run off and checking PH on that. Of course this will be modified based on results. Schedule is a single top dressing at 4 tbs (roughly 2 tsp per gal of soil) covering with 1/2 inch min of coco and 50% perlite as a mulch. Layla must go on her own feeding schedule as she is just so much bigger and drinking well. Will do the feed when moving to Flowering tent in a day or so as that will be about time to water. She looks good if a little darker green than I like. Were it only Layla I might not suspect anything... meh Here is where Grow Diaries saved the day , by going back and looking at past grows we came to suspect the nuet change although initially results were great problems always seemed to follow. In my reaction to that, not knowing, I may have made other mistakes, likely in fact. Its a solid organic and may head off some issues. Simplify As for Bandy and Maggie, still have that bottle of H2O2 on the shelf, need to see some serious improvement real soon. Getting to be now or never Later: Talked to the owner of a hydroponics store who is also a long time grower that knows these nuet lines cold. His take is that it is absolutely the Bio-Bizz nuets, seems they are hard to run alone as they have holes in their make up which will cause mystery deficiencies in some plants and soil mixes. That really pisses me off LoL , my fault though just glad I have partial explanation. Good thing is he was able to show me the CocoTek Grow and Bloom lines and that is going to be the choice, two part feed without complications. Simplify heheh 10/29 Confirmed the dye reading of pot PH on all three by another method. Took a handful sized soil sample from as deep as I could of each pot and placed into a cup, soaked with 7.0 water let stand 15 minutes to stabilize, tested pour off, all at 6.7 so that is NOT the problem. Damn it This is the reasoning: Water goes into the pot at 6.4-6.5 takes the entire system to that level temporarily, it then begins bringing it up to 6.7-6.8ish and that friends covers the entire range of nuet take-up in soil. Going to cheat a bit high and make it 6.5 solid as its good on acid content. Least thats how I see it, back to basics so may as well. Top dressing Layla today with Flower Girl, others follow when pots dry out a bit more. Moved to Flowering Tent , something came up and they still have not been feed will try and do it this afternoon. 10/30 Fed Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 4 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) 11/1 Defoliated Layla (about 3%) so the center of the plant gets good light, did a little training on Brandy to keep things dry, Maggie... man just letting it grow I am just flabbergasted at this yellow leaf thing Pics at watering tomorrow 11/2 No water today, they dont need it.

This week starting to use net for scrog and next i will go to bloom phase 🔥🌻

Buds get denser everyday, love em. From next watering (W13 D3) I will start providing blackstrap molasses in every feed.

Another good week, i love how red some buds get. Never saw some buds purple like that, but i hope they Taste like they look.

Day 78, I switched plant #2 to an all PK diet with FloraFlex Full Tilt. She’ll take up the whole 3.5 gals of nutes by Wednesday. I’m then going to begin my 3 day flush Wednesday evening. And I will chop her on Saturday evening. I also took a little sample nug off plant #2 just want to compare non-flushed to flushed weed. Also see how much they shrink in size. Day 79, Plant #2 is on schedule to start flush in 2 days. And I will give her the chop this coming weekend. Going to try a ice flush using frozen water bottles to see if I can help bring out more color. The other plants #1 and #3 are still a two weeks or so away from being chopped. Day 81, started the 3 day flush on Plant #2. And took some more photo shots of her buds and a 360° view video. Day 84, Plant #2 got the chop. Wet weight, before light trim and removing large stems is 760 grams!!! I will update once they finish drying, and then again once I finish the trim and about to jar them for cure. Plants #1 & #3 are still flowering, probably another week or two before they are ready to be chopped.
