Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time I’m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. I’m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

Branches couldn't manage the weight so everything caved in like dominoes smh. I decided to chop on rainbow cake to help with air flow. Humidity is at 45 degrees steadily but im not risking mold or mildew this late in the grow. I added Ripen to the nutrient regimen at 5ml per gallon.

They seem to have packed on some decent size this week which I’m glad to see but the trichome production leaves a little to be desired. Some of the lower buds look more frosty than the top buds which seems weird to me but I don’t really know that much lol. My ph runoff has been a little low which I think has to do with the molasses I gave them which wasn’t blackstrap which I think raises ph. Anyways, next watering will be with about 7.0 until my runoff corrects, it could explain the yellowing leaves as well. But the runoff is 6.1-6.3 which shouldn’t be that big an issue so it could be something else but I’m so close to the end messing around too much is probably not the best thing to do. Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen. Well day 64 here I believe shes ready in my opinion. A little early but I switched her to 24 hour lighting a week ago and had her out in the sun the last 3 days. Today she basks in the sun in all of beauty and wonderful aroma. This strain is without a doubt the most gorgeous to me and the smell is outstanding! Check back next week for a flavor report and my review of the strain! She should dry for me well in a week sadly a severe drought here so I'll be keeping it hanging whole. Shes coming along nice smell is definetly super skunky. I'm excited for this one to finish looks like it is going to be wicked dense and super indica like. Have heard its thc content is lower but that should be more like a 1:1 and I dont mind that myself. Check back next week to see how quickly she finishes!

End of Week 16 (9th week of flower) Final week of flower. Turned the lights wattage down at the end of this week to 400W to mimmic the sun moving further away from the earth during Autumn and Winter seasons. This also creates an overall cooler temperature signalling to the ladies that the end is in sight. This also protects the trichomes and ensures they don't get damaged and also dropped the The ladies are fading more and more into their vibrant autumn shades. With hues of pink and purple that makes me so excited! Feeding just PH correct water until harvest, which is around the corner. We are currently on day 63 of flower and checked the trichomes - just a few specs of amber and the cloudy trichomes are more prominent although there are still some clear ones. On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

Week 4 done and in the books. I tried to limit growth of the side shoots during the week by pinching & crushing the stems. I will monitor the effect this has. Last week with her as main focus as there are some photo seeds growing alongside. I will veg them at 20h light hoping this blackberry is done before I have to flip those girls to flower. If this blackberry has to do a week or two on 12/12 so be it I'm afraid.

It rained regularly this week and I was away from home a lot. And forgot to keep them dry with the heavy rain sometimes. So this week they had almost only rain. I gave them 1 time 0.5L tapwater with nutrients each. And less nutrients because I'm scared it will have an impact on the taste

This week I added Alg-a-mic to the mix, hopefully this will help to revitalise the plant. It seems like the tacoing 🌮 hasn't worsened since last week.
