We are at the beginning of the 9th week of flowering. The trichomes are slowly beginning to change color. I'm now going on vacation for 9 days, I couldn't have planned it any shittier. But anyway, I've decided to keep them growing and then probably harvest them straight after my vacation.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. This week you could see the bud sites starting to really show :) Did some heavy defoliation but again you can't tell by the pictures Pheno #1 and #2 were growing so tall and were stretching every day it was hard to get the lights any higher. Soon they won't be able to go any higher. Feeding schedule stayed constant for most of the grow. See previous weeks

while I was bending the plant, after leaving it bent I noticed that the apical one had collapsed and the leaves had receded, all this in 30/50 minutes ... I then loosened the fold bringing it as it was before ... Was it the LST that gave this stress? or other?💪✋

I have some leaf issues, does anyone know a solution?

Hello everyone. Not much happened this past week with the Tangerine Dream. I gave her a good defoliation and sprayed her down with neem oil. At this point, she is mostly focusing on building up her roots, so there is nothing major to report here. Temperatures have generally been sitting comfortably between 23°C and 25°C. They do spike a bit in the afternoon, reaching between 27°C and 28°C for about 2 hours, but for the rest of the day, she stays right in her comfort zone. Still taking about 2-3L of water each day, feeding ucann bloom every two weeks with worm castings. A little bleaching on the gelato but I just raised the light a few more inches, hoping it’s enough to prevent more. The Coco Melon is short but the buds are looking very compact.

Feb 6 They got last feed yesterday and for 7 days they will only get plain water, then chop chop Feb 6 Did some snipping of the dead leaves, just did second last water, one more in 48hrs, then 48 hrs darkness and she’s done… I’m thinking prolly 2 - 2.5 oz off these girls 🥦 PS: trying out 4 plants in 1.5 gal pots next instead of 2 plants in 3 gal. Got some signs of light stress via mid to late flower, so maybe 4 plants might help spread out the energy and increase yeild.

Yo what's up growmies. smooth sailing, no more leaks have sprung, the buckets have been recirculating nicely, it seems as if my mad idea to turn my DWC into an undercurrent RDWC mid flower wasn't so mad after all! the plant bucket is as good as off limits now, its a whole lot of noodle, the roots in it have swallowed my InkBird Probe, which has been kept at a cool 19 degrees steadily. I'm happy i have an easy access bucket now, though, i noticed that if i do not aerate the reservoir, black smuts starts collecting on the bottom, so I put in some better air stones and we are good now. As for the plant; after starting green sensation these things have become incredibly sticky and smelly, I still cannot place the smell! i like it a lot once i'm acclimated to it, but when first opening the tent it attacks your sniffer quite violently, this is not a stealthy strain, she is resinous and loud. I think I am happy with my training and how she turned out with a few exceptions, next time, I'm growing following a guide, like Nebula Haze, whilst taking clones. I know this is week 6 of flower, but honestly its more like week 3 or 4 of actual flower, hence why i waited so long to add PK to the mix, this girl took a while to hit puberty and start flower production after flipping to 12-12, Im not sure if its the strain, a fuck up on my part, or just nature being nature, she did seem to stretch after flipping and before starting flowers, so I'm going to guess it's one of those Sativa quirks where it all just seems to take...a.....little.......longer. which is I will also set up a veg tent, sick of waiting for flowers! gotta keep that perpetual grow going, you know how it be.
