Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! its day 21 since flip to flower and time to defoliate.

These girls are getting close to harvest. Calyx closed & swelling up, most of the pistills turned orange/brown & are starting to curl in. Waiting on delivery of a new 60× microscope to check the trichomes , buds are very frosty. Have stopped feeding nutrients & have started flushing with plain ph'd water. Then reduced watering to twice a day so there not taking in as much moisture before harvest. Probably starve them of water completely for a couple of days to bring out more moisture, & apparently THC. A lot of smell about them. Very sticky!

Day 36 update; Nothing to add. Bit more crystals, tho not too much.. Day 37 update; Looks like the tap water fixed the magnesium problem. And added some fertilizer today. Day 38 update; Progress still be progress. Day 39 update; Trichomes definitely spreading. Day 40 update; Still not that great at holding the microscope still, so pictures aren't really that good.. Strong aroma from the plants now tho, very nice fruity smell I can't quite pinpoint what is, but very intense when I open the tent. Day 41 update; She's starting to pop some purple colour on the top leaves.. Not exactly sure why, as she's had the exact same treatment as the other one, while that one isn't showing any purpling. I'm not entirely against it, but since I'm not sure if it's genes or what, it's a little, well... - Added a few extra pics of the other one, since she's looking a little better bud wise. - Smell in the tent is fantastic.. A little more purple on the leaves, and definitely more progress on the buds as well. - The other one is further ahead, even tho it's only day 39 Day 42 update; End of week 6.. - Getting closer and closer. Harvest gonna be in a couple of weeks.

Transplanted to one gallon pots,for further growing, definitely two different phenotype. Gonna look at old pics and narrow down its parents traits. More pics later gotta go to work. Finish update tonight 2/04/18 #1 has pointed more darker leaves. #2 has rounded less pointed paler green leaves. Also purplish traits seen in the stems.

Estuve un tiempo sin actualizar el diario porque me contagie de COVID, ahora un poco mejor vuelvo a actualizar. Flower58, las plantas están listas para la cosecha, en uno o 2 días empezaré a cortar y colgar para su secado. Drying, secando con parámetros de humedad de 60% a 16°c por aproximadamente 2 semanas, están a 2 o 4 días de estar listas para pasarlas a frascos y ver cuánta cantidad final se logró.

Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

Day 165 14/10/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today Starting to see new growth showing purple and dark tones 🤩🖤 Picture and video update 📸💚 Day 167 16/10/24 Wednesday Another feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. I may as well make it last out this week and see how she is again. I'm thinking she may end up being a 10-12 week flower because of size. Picture and video update 📸💚 Day 169 18/10/24 Friday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. She is starting to put weight behind her buds now... I went through and did a deep lollipop and defoliation because of what happens to Euphoria in my previous diary, I am not risking mould again!!! She is doing well! Her colours are coming through nicely now. Day 171 20/10/24 Sunday (End of week) Another feed to finish the week 💪 she is taking it like a champ. De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 after nutrients.

So were on day 26 of flower there looking good getting a nice smell starting to throw out trichomes Have down loaded a thew videos of before and after removing fan leaves

Day 43 - I have started LST as this plant i know won't grow much in height, im gonna use it to teach myself techniques/perfect a technique. I hope ive done a decent job of it. Excited to see what happens over next few days. Day 44 - im very proud of my little plant. It looks so strong after the first day of LST. Definitely surprised with the results. Day 45 - Plant seems to be adjusting just fine to LST i do keep checking it. There is a bit of leaves overcrowding to pne side. I will probably have to move if i can! Day 46 - I'm thinking if i need to do more LST or just leave it now to grow. Day 47 - the plant is really starting to woden out and stretch as well. I need to see when it will flower it looks like it might do soon. Day 48 - The plant looks well. I believe she has started to flower so i really have to get my fan and filter asap. Day 49 - She defo started flowing and i just bent ome stem to allow more space between each other ;But they looks really good. Also entering another competition can't win if you don't partake.

Giorno 58 Purtroppo ho ancora problemi coi fertilizzanti(ogni volta non mi scende acqua da sotto al vaso e spesso si creano accumuli). Prossimo giro farò ancora 6 piante coi fertilizzanti e 3 con super soil Dogma!!! Ricordati sempre di pensare prima di tutto al seme che metterai in terra. Cerca la banca semi che ha i cloni ufficiali in casa della genetica a cui sei interessato e non fare la prima cosa che trovi al negozietto sotto casa!!! A settimana prossima. Another week they are looking good . My ak47 just got some mold on the top so I already loose one top but let’s keep forward.my gorilla is showing some nice purple buds..

I use with her top crop complete mix .... she grows outdoor ... without any relevant information ... only her vegetation is slow ... it's autumn ... and the sun is not very strong ...

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.
