3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. Medical Mass is a new medical cannabis strain with a high CBD content and a low THC level that provides good medical properties without a strong psychoactive effect. This is a mostly indica plant that contains 40% sativa and 60% indica. Critical Mass and CBD rich strain were crossed to create this amazing valuable variety. The plant suits both for indoors and outdoors, for beginner and experienced growers. The strain grows up to 60 - 100 cm tall and produces good yields for such height of about 500 - 550 gr/m2. The plant demonstrates great results even in small spaces. The flowering time takes only 7-8 weeks and the harvest comes in late September. The smoke brings very strong, intense flavors with sweet notes of honey and skunk and an intense pleasant relaxation. Medical Mass is the great choice for each medical user due its small height, ease of growing, fast flowering and of course great medical potency. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-12-25. Well NO ONE on this site reached out to try and help and I was kind of disappointed in that with so many great artists. I had to take my issues over and join ILGM. The veins were dark on MOBY and yellowing from the middle and it turned out to be a potassium deficiency and a potential build up but I don’t have my new ppm meter to get the whole truth. I upped my Demeter’s destiny and my hurculean harvest and let it run off more than usual. This lady is out of lock out and reaching for the sky in one day with leaves coming back to color!!! Hopefully the stall didn’t set me too far back. Going to switch away from the HLG 60 and mars 300 and put them under a brand new HLG 550 v2 this weekend in the main tent!

12/20 - Fog Dog (Atlas seeds) started the paper towel method a day before the rest. The Fog Dog will be my “tester” plant. I will see how this plant handles different factors compared to the other 3 seeds. 12/21 - Put Double Grape, Tangerine Dream, and Glue Gelato in separate wet paper towels and ziplocks to pop. Tested well water. Ph at 6.0 and TDS/PPM at 43. 12/22 - Still waiting for seeds to do their thing using the paper towel method. 12/22 (7p) - -TD and GG both cracked and showed their fancy tails, so I put both in 3 gal fabric pots. FD cracked as well with tail; however, I put that in a 2 gal, as I am testing this one out. Was going to mix the Rabbit Creek Farm soil with Ocean Forest...but I forgot to mix in the Ocean Forest, so there's that. Have a feeling the Mephisto Double Grape will crack tomorrow and be moved into a 3 gal. -Temp in the tent is between 71.6-73 degrees F (TSW 2000 turned down from 100% to 25%. -Humidifier is acting funky. I want it to stay at my selected RH, but for now it is hovering between 64-67 mostly and 70-72. Needs permanent fixture...I dont like the range being off like that.

Another week of slow growth has gone by, thought I end it with another round of topping on one of the plants. I'm looking to make up for the previous grow where I didn't top at all and it produced so little, hope I don't go overboard with things :D

The plant showed some problem areas on the leaf, and the characteristic red stems appeared on the upper floors of the plant. I began to wonder if this was due to the PH level or not, but I added some PK 13-14 just in case. keeping track of the PH level when growing on soil is very difficult for me. On coco substrate it was easy there are still some problems with the humidity of the tent, because my ventilation with a pc cooler and a charcoal filter mat for the hoods can barely cope with the large vapors of the leaves

BOOMING. Have had an unusual amount of thrips and noticed a few Katydid nymphs on Tuesday (7/22), so I hit everything with 1.5tsp Neem Oil and 1 tsp of Dr Brommers soap in a 1 qt sprayer. I also decided to do my only planned dusting of Diatomaceous Earth. Executed that on Wednesday, 7/23, and also top dressed with DE to attack larvae. Thursday 7/24 Mixed up first batch of flowering top dressing. I put it into a 55 gal garbage can and watered it to get the cooking process started. Will only let it go for a week or so and then will top dress the girls.

Everything is progressing well overall. The Lemon Cherry Cookies are looking strong and healthy, responding nicely to the current feeding schedule. No visible issues — vibrant growth and good structure. The Banana Purple Punch, on the other hand, is showing slight deficiencies. This was expected, as I’ve been deliberately giving it less nutrients to observe the difference. The comparison is already becoming clear: the reduced feeding is resulting in slower growth and some early signs of nutrient deficiency. This side-by-side has been helpful for understanding how each strain responds to different nutrient levels. Looking forward to seeing how things develop in the next couple of weeks.
