Hey folks and welcome to my 2021 outdoor grow diary! I hope you guys enjoy my upcoming posts and see how these ladies will end up by october! Just to break down this years grow, I will be trying new grow techniques, as last year my plants turned out like bonsais, as always, organic grow using Promix HP and Gaia Green Organic Amendments, and watering with a mixture of molasses to feed the soil microbes. So my pops got his hands on some "local growers" clones of Kings Kush cash crop, apparently it is an 80/20 Indica hybrid with a THC average of 14-23%, the smell is suppose to be like musky, peppery Kush and taste the same according to the guy that sold him the clones. Tho, I wouldn't rely on the sellers credibility, all I know is that the strain is mold resistant which is a must in the GTA and is a strong plant and has been doing well for my pops indoor grow so far. I will keep you guys updated on how his batch turns out. So I got 4 of these clones ready by May 16th and transplanted them from a 1 gal to its final 15 gal fabric pots. With that, I used Promix HP and amended the 15 gal with 2 cups of Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 with approximately 1 cup of Gaia green power bloom and mixed well into each 15 gal pot. (About 70/30 ratio @4tbs/gal of the mixture) After the transplant was completed, I started to water the plants with dechlorinated tap water pHed to 6.5 and gave each pot about 0.5gal each of water. My plans for the next watering is to introduce blackstrap molasses at 1tbs/gal of water to start supercharging the dormant microbes in the soil! I also have to add yellow sticky strips to keep an eye on pests such as fungus gnats and spray neem oil as a PM in the soil and plant.

La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 3 ejemplares seleccioné los 2 mejores para completar el indoor y apliqué tetra 9 vía foliar, también cambié el fotoperiodo a 12/12 y apliqué una buena poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento. Comecei a semana realizando o treinamento de baixo estresse e uma desfoliação. Nao fiz poda top, não acho que seja adequado para plantas rápidas. VVamos ver como vai ser o resultado . Nao pretendo mais fazer intervenções no crescimento .

Harvesting a little earlier than when i would like, because of the rise of bugs that appeared last days due to climate conditions... this year temperatures are oscillating more than usual having 1 rainy week, then a sunny hot one just after it rains.. In fact, last year, it did not rain until November So the plagues were on the leaves, mildew powdery(just a coulpe of leaves),aphids(like just in the leaves of one cola), and some caterpillars almost ready to get out and start eating all the buds, (hopefully i cut that day).. Sounds bad, but the parts of the plant affected was only the leaves... and means that a proper cleaning is coming so removed all the leaves and the result is what you can see, that bonsai.. Spotted 2 dead material points in big colas, that i removed after drying.. I did not weight the plant wet because of the smell that i had on my house that day, things went very tense, i was a bit busy, and even, it has not much sense to me, im better weighting the dry material. So at the end i think im having very good quality, and the affected parts are less than i thouth at first, so im very happy with the results.. On the scales are the best buds, the rest is the lower part of the colas that were less developed so im doing hash with that part.. Harvested.

At the start of Week 4, Purple Punch entered a more active vegetative phase. The plant measures around 11 cm and shows healthy, vibrant green growth with no visible deficiencies. Internode spacing remains tight, indicating good light intensity and stable conditions. This week marks the beginning of structured training. Topping, LST, main-lining, and light defoliation were introduced to shape the plant early and encourage even canopy development. The plant responded well so far, with no signs of stress after the initial training. Feeding is based on a coco setup with balanced nutrients and root support, maintaining a pH of ~5.9 to optimize uptake. Environmental conditions remain stable, supporting recovery and continued growth.

12 day dry @ 58-63RH & 60-66F in blacked out dry tent | Glass Jar Cure with Inert gas Early taste test and I actually love this bud, is the best in house strain I've grown so far & the second Platinum cross. This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

First week went swell, germination was just fine only took 3 days, the Tricross popped leaves first the Muchacha F5 popped a day or so later. So far they are doing fine now I know what to look for and do with these autos so hopefully I'll be done in 2.5 months will keep updating as I go! BTW I am trying the Dynomyco inocculant on these ones and I will be topping and stretching when the time comes thanks again!
