Our beauty is now 6 weeks old and has officially entered the flowering stage! She has gained noticeable height and bushiness, showing off her healthy growth and vibrant energy. We've installed a net and gently guided her underneath to maximize the potential of each branch and ensure even light distribution. The light schedule remains 12/12. Daytime temperature is a steady 28°C, nighttime drops to 21°C, and humidity stays at 65%. We continue feeding her with Xpert Nutrients, providing all the essential elements she needs during flowering. CO2 supplementation also continues, supporting her vigorous development. She grew 12cm this week. Now 27cm tall. She seems to be very bushy already. It could be a nice sign!

Harvest tht week

Oh so this is my first entry on GrowDiaries. This Red Dragon started from seed I believe sometime early April. It's been in a 2 gallon pot for a good month and now is ready to be transplanted in a 15 gallon cloth pot. I'm probably gonna do that today, with some fiming. I have a mix ready, made of 1/5 dirt,1/5 chicken manure, 2/5 peat moss, 2/5 perlite, and roughly a tablespoon of lime and sulfur, as well as bone meal and stove ashes. I'm a newbie experimenting so feel free to tell me if I'm doing it all wrong :D

I’ve been dealing with an undiagnosed issue presenting with discoloured leaves. The buds however do not seem bothered as they develop happily or at least they appear to. On day 77 of WW I noticed cloudy trichomes! This is strange however as they are only in week 6 of flower. Not sure how long the cloudy to amber transition is but crop king notes an 8 week flower while growers report 8-10 weeks.

Week 3 Flower After 21 days she's no longer stretching, but now concentrating on her flowers. She's already starting to show trichomes later on in the week too. Her base nutrients were gradually changed to the above, at a 1:2:3 G:M:B ratio. Now she's finished her stretch, silicon was decreased slightly and will be stopped by day 28. A few leaves were plucked here and there, to stop a few tops from being shaded. I'm happy with her health and growth in this early stage of flower. Now I'm looking forward to seeing her bulk up and also what smells she gives off. I added a little slo mo video on the end too 😉 Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

Week 6 Veg Update: The Scrog Is Filling Up! 🌱✨ Hey Grow Fam! 🌿 It’s Week 6 of Veg, and let me tell you, the ladies are thriving! The scrog net is doing its job perfectly, creating a beautiful and even canopy. The plants are spreading out, taking up all that space, and loving every moment of it. The combination of great genetics and smart techniques is really paying off! Day 77 - June 18 June 18 - 06.00AM One Amber trichome found. Will water with 5L of water at 6.3PH this morning. Wilted leaves are still springy. I'd like to defoliate but will wait until they're completely wilted. June 18 - 06.45AM Soil is still cold, a little moist. I'll water at approximately 9AM June 18 - 10.45AM Removed dead leaves to avoid pests (as sharing tent with outdoor plants at night). June 18 - 10.45AM Watered 4.5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Time taken approximately 1 hour to saturate soil. June 19 - 09.00AM Trichomes are starting to morph from clear to cloudy. Each clear head is now about 50% cloudy. There are slightly more light amber trichomes appearing. I suspect just under a week remaining. June 20 - 07.00PM Found another amber trichome on a more developed cola. With more half-clear trichomes becoming cloudy. I suspect I'll chop in 5 days or so. Leaf necrosis is developing further with some fan leaves (with trichomes) are decaying. I'd really like to see more purple by this stage, but I'll settle for a pineapple fade. June 22 - 08.20AM Temperature ate 78F at ground level. TOO HIGH! Had to turn the AC off due to partner being cold overnight. Possibly lost terpines+potency - frustrated. Trichomes still seem too clear for my liking. June 22 - 10.40AM Watered 4-5L to runoff at 6.3PH. Should have watered yesterday, though pot was still relatively heavy. Removed one dead leaf resting on budsite. June 23 - 06.00AM Removed a few dead leaves. Trichomes are still cloudy. Some milky, it's close - though little to no ambers. June 24 - 07.00PM Removed more dead leaves + 1 healthy accidentally. Trichomes are about the same. Removed all LST ties.

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
