What up family, weekly update on these beautiful ladies. I did a major defoliation this week as they'll be getting the chop soon. They smell funky from the Mendo and sweet from the FrostBanger, talk about being super super sticky when touching the flowers. I think it'll make some amazing extracts. All in all Happy Growing.

We did a lot of defoliating the past 2 weeks , the girls were growing water leaves like we were about to start a small forest 🌳. But above all we got a chance to see the genetics that made the difference on who we decided to keep this run and who didn’t make it. Lower leaves are losing color and browning, flushed out water and added fresh nutes in 4 days ago. Roots have a brown slug on them from left over nutes, probably going to rinse roots off in the next couple days.

Germination - I planted the seeds at home in a light mix substrate. After 5 days, I transplanted into the previously prepared substrate Ingredients of my Substrate : 10l soil, 1l perlite, 0.8l vermikulit, 0.8 worm humus, 30g Guanokalong powder, 30g Guanokalong seaweed powder, 30g Guanokalong veg pearls. Unfortunately, the weather forecast called for a night temperature of 7 degrees, so I made a greenhouse out of pet bottles Blue granules are protection against slugs, I have had very bad experiences with them. As you can see slugs are really many and have made my plants slug cemetery :D Slime everywhere one looks, I call it the path of death Watered with water from the stream directly from the spring

PSA!! PSA!! PSA!! WATCH those ZeroWater pitchers... when the filter goes, it goes FAST. Leaves you with a ton of undesirables, and AN EXTREMELY ACIDIC PH!! GC isn't ready for it, but she isn't in charge here. She should have stuck with WG when she extended a helping hand. Since falling behind, WG has thrown up a peace sign to GC as to say "see ya sucker". It's my favorite bud by far on WG. Bitch has got an attitude 🤣. RES sitting at 87ppm @5.9. Yellowing has started.. going to have to check trics more often so I get that sweet spot I'm looking for. ======================================================================================================== Day 78- these girls are starting to stink! Come on WG... ripen up so we can get this over with.. lowered lights power a bit today. RES climbed from 87 to 137. Drained 2gal, added 2gal RO. down to 38ppm. Forgot to mention the ice probe has been unplugged for over a week now. Been putting a 3/4 full 1L frozen bottle in the RES to chill. Rotate out every 12hr with a fresh. At lights on, and 12hr later. Full bottle got Temps too low for my liking. ======================================================================================================== Day 79- tick tock.. tick tock.. come on WG.. she's showing a little fade on her leaves. Seeing more of a calcium difficiency on her fans than fading honestly. Trichomes taking their time ripening as well. I'm SURE this strain ambers up.. taking their time for me though.. dont know how long I feel comfy flushing hydro though.. I did notice a few exploded trichomes up top, which has me thinking I need to go ahead and chop within the next couple days. If I notice any more ruptured anywhere else I haven't poked it with the scope.. I'm hanging the bitch that night. May give her 24hr dark period, since I've tried some other bro-science and it seemed to help. *edit* felt bad starving WG and she's not more amber coated. Gave her a bit of nutrition tonight. GHE aggressive ripen. M-2.8mL/g G-2.8mL/g B-4.5ml/g and 5mL calmag (using RO). Came out high @ 867 so I pulled 2L and dumped 2L RO in. Sitting at 613 @ 5.9. ======================================================================================================== Day 80- well, the 3 days starving the girls kicked their metabolism back in gear. I want more amber before chop chop. They quit eating and were drinking MUCH less signaling the end. Was down to topping off once a day, maybe a liter to a liter and a half. Since feeding yesterday, they've started eating and drinking like they were on week 10 again. Topped off 3.5L in the last 16hrs. TDS dropping with water level, even more when topped off with straight RO. I'm not giving em any more nutes. Last push for some extra weight before the end. ALLOT more frosty today than yesterday as well. ======================================================================================================== Day 81- Started flushing again. Maybe starting their metabolism again will help ripen these trics. If not, they're getting chopped @ day 84. Don't want to let em go too long and regret it. I may have f'd em up feeding again after the 3 days starving. Time will tell ======================================================================================================== Day 83- still waiting... 💤 Going to order some bubble bags. Freezing all GC and trim/larf from WG for some bubble hash. Abbiamo tagliato a metà 3 piante,farò il raccolto scaglionato,le lascerò ancora per un pò cercando di evitare le cime popcorn,l'odore é fortissimo e la quantità incredibile,fino ad ora la miglior pianta mai fatta,e da tagliare rimane ancora molto....BUON ANNO!!

8/25/23 - Day 73 - Another week down. We did a water change today. The buds are getting fatter and WAAAAAAY smellier. I have had a couple of times now where I lost a battle to the Skunk BOSS. I have had to reach in to move some buds around because they are too close to the light on some bud sites. You can see one of the buds up top, it has some white to it, I think that's due to being too close to the light. But once I move the buds around, I smell EXACTLY like a skunk. The smell is crazy strong. It's taking several full showers and it's still all over my fingers. Gloves will be an ABSOLUTE must when just reach in for a second. 8/28/23 - Day 76 - The buds are starting to grow even more, that the buds are growing buds out of them. That sounds weird but it's the only way to describe it. It looks like Romanesco. The buds are getting more dank, fatter, and more crystals are forming. 8/29/23 - Day 77 -I did some trimming today. I push some of the buds down and really got my arms in there today. All of the buds have gained so much mass to them when I squeeze them, they are really dense. I left a time laps video of me doing some late trimming, I was noticing some of the cannabis leaves were taking some of the light from the buds. 8/31/23 - Day 79 - The trichomes are still see-through and crystal clear. Amazing genetics from BIG Seedbank!!! Great plant overall up till now.. Needs verry little nutes.. almost organic but still Bio... Very BIG buds for this phase... Hope it goes like this untill the end.. Fingers Crossed.. 🙏

These two girls have gotten into "that's a big b*tch" territory! Absolutely massive plants just short of four feet tall and taking up half of the 4x8. Got their first haircut mid week, stripping off all of the lower third small branches and a large amount of inner fan leaves. They didn't skip a beat and just kept praying every day and chugging nutrient mix. Bud sites everywhere, hope these girls start lifting weights in preparation for all the buds their about to pack on. todo muy bien! esperando paciente el desarrollo de los cogollos, conociendo y viendo los puntos de maduracion asi como la fertilizacion ajustando a su maximo que creemos posible para incentivar que los cogollos engorden, ahora en adelante les hare segumiento de la grande principalmente, que es la que cumple con la edad del diario, ya que las otras como se explico en un principio venian recien cultivadas por eso tienen un par de semanas de retraso , tambien hay una hermafrodita, que al detectar como comentamos semanas anteriores aplicamos al tecnica vista de un cultivador mexicano, consistia en romper los brotes de machos las pelotas con el fin de que no vuelvan a salir, dejando solo los pelos estigmas de las hermbras, si bien el cogollo queda maltratado, al parecer se detiene el crecimiento, asi que estamos viendo como rinde ese experimento.

So the Northern Lights free seed from RQS ended up out living all 3 of the Dosidos’ “USA Premium” seeds that all died within the first week of sprouting, hopefully an explanation will be found for this as I have not been able to come to any conclusion as to what happened. Long live the lights amiright
