SUNSET SHERBET 9/13-21 The transition to my new grow has been chaos. After reading the events of the last week you too will shake your head in disbelief, but honestly friends you can’t make this stuff up. After germination on 8/30 Sunset was transplanted to her final 3 gallon pot on 9/3 because her early true leaves were brown on the ends which I attribute to the ph of the seed medium. I also cleaned and disinfected the AC Infinity 4X4 for this new grow. The Frosted Guava that germinated on the same day did not make the transition. I started her replacement seed on 9/8 followed by germination on 9/12. The babies are starting in the 3x3. Meanwhile, new fans arrived from AC infinity to replace the fans that weren’t working correctly. One fan made clicks when it rotated and the other did not rotate at all. These new models needed a different splitter than what I was using. Ordered that, now wait for the splitter. A splitter from Amazon arrived quickly and I moved the new gals into the 4x4 tent. Since I’m using controller 69, I set the program to seedlings which has high VPD. The following morning, moisture vapor was seeping out of the tent through the zipper as well as the controller port. It was basically raining in the tent with about 1.5 gallons of was on the floor. Clean up on aisle 2. While I was mopping the tent, the lights were flickering on and off. I just knew the electronics were fried. I reported the situation to AC Infinity. Working through each step determined that the lights were not impaired by the moisture. With each step, areas that could have been the issue were eliminated. Aha..The vent motor was burned out. They are sending a replacement. (note: AC Infinity is very responsive and at no charge to me, replaces malfunctioning equipment). My babies are back in the 3x3 until the new vent arrives. But wait! There’s more! While all the issues with the 4x4 were going on Sunset Sherbet and Frosted Guava were in the 3X3. 9/13 The day after Frosted Guava germinated soil, I opened the tent only to find hundreds of bugs on the floor clustered in corners and in puddles (drippings from wet towel). I took the pots outside and flushed them with about 3 gallons of well water. Sprayed the tent with diluted vinegar water, wiped up the bugs then wiped the floors, and walls with alcohol and put the gals back in the 3x3 tent. It’s not over yet. 9/17 open the tent with more bugs on the floor. That did it. Another transplant for both gals into brand new Happy Frog soil without any amendments. I put the gals on crates and put a humidifier in the tent until I move them to the 4x4. Autoflower plants do not like transplanting so I hope they have not suffered. To help alleviate stress, I provided a light feed with Plant juice. 2 TBSP /gal plant Juice Ph to 6.62 PPM 470 Water temp 70 Pics taken 9/18, 9/20 & 9/21 Sunset Sherbet 200ml with extra poured around the rim of pot Frosted Guava 50ml with extra poured around the rim of pot It can only get better from here. Nearing close to the end. Really regret not using the scrog net as they’re struggling to hold themselves up as they go through their final swellings on the buds. Smell has changed and has a candy sweet at the moment starting to come througH

EDIT: I just harvested my dwarfs and I better harvest my AK's next week!!! It was sunny af and i couldnt make better pics in that case. It has it reasons. Making this diary cost me time and power, hope you like it. Do you think its ok when i harvest the dwarfs in 2 or 3 days, i hope it buds grow cause the buds are small from my Dwarfs. My AK's have nice buds , you think i can harvest my AK's together with my Dwarfs or better wait?

Ok so had a lot to do this week harvested the large critcial mass to which I got 6 n half 0z from one plant so happy with that i also had a few issues with enviroment mainting right temp and humidty as been a lil issue but think all is well now so there all now on the 7 week of flower think I may push these as far as I can to maximise yield potential overall a real good plant to grow had very few issues from start to finish a top strain a deffo keeper for the garden of mothers in my opinion

She handles the stress quite well. No herms in sight so far. Buds forming. Nice sweep terps

Hi gromies! Been away for a while but back at it again with some improvements to my set up. First of all bought a new tent (Homebox ambient 120×120×220) which has had a HUGE impact on controlling the plants' grow environment. Also bought a new blower (Primaklima whisperblower 800m³). This is really an overkill but it is really easy to keep the temperatures in control with it. In addition I got myself a Lunatek 315 CMH lamp for veg. A great improvement for my vegging. Been thinking about using my CMH lamp alongside with my two LEDs, but haven't had the balls to start messing around, until I have some more info in this area. I am just starting week 7 and now the ladies have started to gather some volume. It's looking really nice so far. My first time growing one single strain (gorilla zkittlez from Barney's farm)😄. It is really interesting to see different fenotypes in a single strain! Two of the plants are significantly lighter shade of green than the other three. I am hoping to see purple colouring in, at least, one of these plants as the grow proceeds. So far everything looks ok.

Growing up so fast

Did a top watering this week with some nutes added. Then back to plain RO water in the SIP. Seeing some light burn so lowered the PAR from avg 650 to 550. Tried a Co2 canister but without a proper lung room for this 10 x 5, it was pretty useless. Really getting into this hobby, love the abundance of free knowledge and different techniques available. Starting to resent those who I see bragging about "trade secrets". I've been spending more time in hash making discords, hash making twitch streams, and grower instagrams. It never ceases to amaze me what we can learn for free with some motivation and the internet. *I am growing 4 plants here, but only tracking one.

Week 7 🌸 This week went by rather unproblematicly The Buds are developing, no more Nanas and the smells are getting stronger. Some of the plants will need support for their Buds sooner rather then later, therefore we will be getting Bamboo-Sticks by next week. On Day 43 we defoliated one last time to ensure better light penetration for the lower buds and better airflow for these last weeks of flower. On Day 45 we fed the ladies with again 75% of the week 7 dosage. PH to 6.0, EC: 1.69mS. Drain: pH 6.3, EC: 3.6mS (7% run-off) Day 49: Pink Milk and Fx3 seem to be ahead of the Limonario and will propably come down first. Though they still show new growth and have some time left. The trichomes haven't turned amber, yet. Limonario still has lots of white hair and new growth developing. Terp-Talk 😍: Pink Milk: creamy, gassy, berries💜 Fx3: sweet strawberry, a little creamy❤️ Limonario: lime, mint, lemon balm, fresh, loud💚

Day 50 - Checked PPM 1,030. Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of Big Bud Sensizym Bud Candy Nirvana Rhino Skin and B-52. PPM is 1,550. Plant is 51 inches. Raised the light to its highest position. Tons of bud production. Day 51 - Checked PPM 1,590. PPM went up so i diluted with RO water. PPM is now 835. Plant is 52 inches tall. Leaves are getting glossy colored and sticky. Day 52 - Checked PPM 1,560. Diluted again with RO water. PPM is 725. Bud production scaled up. Green mass forming between white hairs and sugar leaves. The stock reminds me of the body of a lizard. Plant is 54 inches tall. Day 53 - Checked PPM 1,130. Added RO water. PPM is 650. Added 10 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 5 mL of Big Bud Sensizym Bud Candy Nirvana Rhino Skin and B-52. PPM is 1,620. Plant is 55 inches tall. Tons of white hairs. Bud production everywhere. The mylar emergency blanket allows the light to penetrate deep and low into the plant. Day 56 - Water nearly gone. Added 2 gallons of RO water. Added 20 mL of CalMag Micro Grow and Bloom. Added 10 mL of Big Bud Sensizym Bud Candy Nirvana Rhino Skin and B-52. PPM is 1,690. I can see trichome production (frosty buds and sugar leaves). The hairs are still white. Light is 2 inches above plant. Light is nearly against the ceiling. It stays this way til harvest.

Smooth few days after the defoliations. They seem to be happy. Malted Milk can be very temperamental but I have been catching on to her ways. Still wary with my feedings tho. Want to give all these different nutes and unknown what the results will be? Installed ac units in each room to ensure good temperatures and RH outside the tents. Hoping for another good week!

No problems with growth, buds rapidly putting on weight and smell is getting stronger each day! Had to cut down on nutrients slightly as I think was feeding a little more than she could consume. Looks like she will be fully ripened around or on the 8th week. I liked the fact she started with the Durban poison, sweet smell and then as she progressed into flower, the loud, dank Kush slowly creeps up before finally taking over the the sweet smell of the Durban poison. Right now as I wright this, the Kush smell has started to mellow down and mix into a nice sweet nutty scent.

Woche 5, alles läuft nach Plan. Sie hat sich bis auf 53cm gestreckt und will auch noch ein paar cm machen. Die Lampe + Cam mussten täglich angepasst werden. Die Timelapse ist diese Woche nicht ganz so schön geworden. Sobald der Stretch in den kommenden Tagen durch ist, gibt es eine großzügige Entlaubung und die erste Runde Blütedünger.
