I emptied the reservoir, there was 2750ml left. I made a 15L new feed and added it to the reservoir. The trichomes on the Runtz are all milky and I'm getting some amber on the sugar leaves, I think the end is near 😁 The G13 is looking great and smelling wonderful, the buds are getting heavier and same for the GDP

La temporada de lluvias ha llegado, llueve cada dos dias aprox y se me joden un poco algunos pistilos. Las temperaturas han bajado bastante y hay más humedad, lo normal en Septiembre. Le está costando florecer ya que sufre bastante contaminación lumínica. Todavía no tiene resina así que voy a sulfatar esta semana.

Week 5

Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. 09 October 2018 - Day 106 Flush run well, Buds have increased and thickened up nicely. Day 107 - No more burn and buds are growing. Day 108 - Conditions are good. Day 109 - Noticed heavy and healthy root growth. Last day before trim Day 110 - Trimmed and Harvested. ** Tent was required ** Day 111 - Colour and smell has become stronger Day 112 - Still drying

This week has a fun surprise, Of the two seedlings I operated on as they where growing sideways in the medium one of them survived. It is quite small and is is going to be playing catch up all grow so may move it outdoors in the summer and just clone the shit out of it if I like the way the other plants go. Also if it bounces back fast I could try and incorporate it into the SCROG. but I kinda have my mind set on just three plants. Also starting a lot of my hot pepper in this tent with the Honey Mints, hopefully they will pop up in the next week or so and get good sized before they need to be transplanted outside in 8-10 weeks. Their seeds always take so long. Other then that plants are looking good and healthy. The bigger one has a bit of leave warping, nothing to worrying as its not progressed or gotten worse, likely from me giving it a bit to much water trying to flush out the high EC from before. Other then that nothing else to report, thinking of doing an early top on them to mainline all 3 of them. Second time i grew these lady's. First was on 50 procent coco 50 procent claypebbles on biotabs and had a yield of 220 gram beautifull dry flower in 2 35 L pots, this run i did plagron lightmix soil and used canna bio line in 1 25 l pot. This one had much more trichome production but flowers are i litle bit smaller. Overal im verry happy with this and its drying now as we speak

At the end of week 3 I topped one of the strawberry cough they are all looking good and starting to veg I’m all caught up with the grow diary’s and will add at the end of every week. I’m in Australia and did start a little late into the season but hope to get a decent grow in they will be at my brothers once transplanted and he has a few aswel that I will add into the grow log nothing but sun and water only use a little thrive that’s from Bunnings that I get from my pops shed. They will be in a nicer cleaner soil when transplanted into veggie beds and will have chicken poo as a nutrient source first time ever using chicken poo so see how it goes. Will keep the grow log updated and hopefully everything goes all well for the travel and transplant for the plants in the next few days

Really suffered in the summer with heat waves. Temps in the tent when the lights were on was going as high as 93⁰f (33.88⁰c). The buds have foxtailed as a result and I beleive I had pheno #1 hermy in its final days. 0 seeds found in both phenos so I got lucky. It flew through the veg stage, growing faster than the runtz muffin it was sharing the tent with. Flower period felt fast too, it was looking stacked already in week 5.

Growing

Day84: wedding glue is ripening and the buds are super heavy and dense. One more watering and I think is going to be ready. Gorilla z is swelling but needs more time to fully ripe, maybe 2 weeks are going to be enough. I’m only watering now, no nutes and let’s see how she develops Day87: really happy with how they are turning out

Noticed some slight Nitrogen deficiency so I removed 20l of the tank and added 20l with Yara Kristalon Blue 19-6-20 + Calcinit A+B and it seemed to do the trick. Went low on ORP this week. Saw slight tip burn so I'll lower EC next week seems that ~2000 is the sweet spot. Did some defoliation as usual whenever needed, never noticed any stunting in any timelapse, also did a little lolipoping. This one is going to be a big one for sure, really happy. The banner is so thick with leaves its insane. Find myself endlessly defoliating her. She isn't as wide as the skittles but she still has a load of potential tops. I'm going to start nutrients again and aim to flip her to flower in a week.

Had to cull 2 plants this week. The strawberry haze x banana og was a male and the sour sorbet was a Hermie so they are gone. The remaining plants didn't take much time to fill out into the extra space they have. Been doing some defoliation but they need a lot more pretty soon. I have been spraying the sugarcane clones with colloidal silver and got all the clones out of the cloner and into soil. Hopefully will be getting some pollen in a couple weeks.
