Pretty solid start for this week, all the plants took just one day to recover from the last session of training and they are showing new vigorous growth already. 1st day fed them with my usual secret mix of organic good stuff Day 32, 4th day of week 5. Babies recover at max speed so I can continue to top and train them to achieve the wanted structure. They already show signs of flowering hormones telling me that when I want to flip, they are ready. Day 35, last defoliation of the week and I think also I will do just another defoliation right before flippin to flower

Week 8 update (full bloom): The autos are now in full flowering mode 🌸 Buds are stacking well, pistils are everywhere, and trichomes are starting to show up. Stretch is nearly finished – now it’s all about building flowers. Nutrients this week: • Hesi Bloom Complex (base bloom) – plants are responding really well. • Hesi PK 13/14 introduced at low dose to push flower sites. • Athena Bloom + Athena Grow (light mix) to balance nutrition and keep a steady NPK ratio. • CalMag still in rotation at ~1 ml/L. • Silic Rock small dose for stem strength. • Total feed around 800–950 ppm, depending on the plant. Observations: • Canopy looks uniform and healthy – green leaves, no big issues. • Runtz shows the most aggressive bud growth – dense flowers already forming. • Amnesia autos a bit more stretchy, but flowers are catching up fast. • Mike Tyson slowly recovering from early stress, but now producing pistils. • Aroma becoming stronger – fruity and slightly spicy terps in the tent. Training: • Final LST adjustments to spread colas. • Light defoliation to open budsites and improve airflow. • From now on: minimal interference, just supporting the flowers. Plan: • Keep PK booster for another week, then evaluate. • Maintain bloom feed and slowly reduce nitrogen. • Watch trichome development – early frost is starting, but still weeks to go before maturity.

We immediately trim on-site and place the buds into vacuum bags for clothes for transportation. These bags with a pump are very convenient; it's best to use several bags: for example, fill a regular thick black bag with stuff, and then put this black bag into a vacuum bag to avoid punctures from branches. For working with the buds, we got "snippers" — as it turns out, these are very convenient scissors for our task. It's a real pleasure to work with them. The density of the buds is generally good, considering that this is wild outdoor cultivation in a fairly humid climate. P.S. After 4 hours of trimming, we were exhausted and just ended up removing the fan leaves and non-sugary leaves.

She's done! Whew! I can say that this wasn't my easiest grow. She had some issues in the beginning, due to over fertilizing (see diary) but she managed to produce some beautiful crystallized nuggets. I flushed her for a week but she looked so ready, and she's so loud, I had to chop her down. Stay tuned for the smoke report.

Put a lot of love into this grow. She grew for 4 months from seeds to harvest. About 5 weeks and 56 days of flower. Overall great strain to grow and great site @growdiaries for giving the platform and help from other growers. I’ve learned so much about growing and especially about this strain.

Decent week, noticed some pregnant buds so i have temoved the little ones that i see and any other hermies i missed but not much. Buds are starting to get unique smells and traits as far as bud structure just added new light today

Another quiet week, plants are slowly loosing lower shaded leaves as expected, luckily they aren’t growing any taller anymore. Will be surprised if no foxtails appear as the par is 1300-1400 around some of the taller colas. My lights in total are using 810w, as I have had to dim the light at the front down by 30% a couple weeks ago. DWC really is a breeze during flowering, barely any work to do, kinda miss having a reason to go in there for anything other than observing 😊 Happy growing all ✌️

From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. Been sunny no rain all week been watering pretty much everyday. The photos are all doing good. The sour auto is budding nice I am still feeding tiger bloom every 8 days I give 1.5 table spoons to a gallon. Days are shortening quickly expecting photos to start pre flowering soon I

This is obviously not week one. I had this Power Africa clone in the corner of my mother tent under some weak CFL lights, i transplanted it A week or two ago. I have no definite plans for this plant but I decided to HST her today, i'll see what happens over the next couple weeks. I do intend to turn the harvest into hash, so 100 grams would do fine.

This lady has been all flowers as she bolsters her colas. Stocky and bushy... I'm really liking the structre. Lots of branches and lots of bud sites. Of course I'm happy. Shes in great health just cruising along. She got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up her treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as she is blooming strong now. Gotta keep that engine well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy lady. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

She was topped at day 16. I topped her above node 4 and removed node 1. She will have 6 main branches. She is doing very well. All my 4 plants on the terrace look almost the same, and I take that as they all grow to the best of their abilities.

Hi everyone 🤗 This week it looked more and more astonishing after opening the box a wonderful sweet smell wafts through the room 👍. A few days ago the Blue Cheese Phenotype 1 was harvested and placed in the dark room :-). This week both Kosher Tangie Kush phenotypes will be harvested 👍. If you have been following my diary, you may know I appear to have an auto that started flowing during an 18 hour light schedule. Although the package came as a cookies gelato feminized seed (not an auto) but all indication sure appears to be an auto. Just an added bonus for a quick harvest, no complaints and love the looks of the genetics on the cookies gelato.
