Last week only lots of tap water for my Mexican Ladies. Her leaves got a bit yellow but that was expected and planned. Today was the day to thank them for their service and I cut them both down to drie, with all leaves included except for the fan leaves. Can't wait to see and test the results! She is not a heavy packer, in weight it won't be a lot but I am aiming for Quality > Quantity 😏

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Zamnesia Mango Kush continues to smell and is very sticky. It is tall and with packed buds It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Gave her a good clean up on day 47. Weather finally good enough to start bringing outside, trying to get hardened off so can plant this upcoming week. Was hoping to do at the end of past week but had to many rainy days and still getting too close to frost at night. Outside 2 days this week temp ranging 18-28 degrees sun/shade as day progressed

D29 Did top dressing with bone and kelp meal as well as worm castings. D31 Performed a little more LST, a few more days and I will let her do her thing. D32 More LST exposed lower nodes and evened out the canopy. D33 Removed all bonsai wire and rolled down the rim of the pot to even it out with to soil, more airflow. D35 Not much growth but overall looking pretty good. Heatwave last couple days keep temperatures higher than desired.

running out of space..lol,despite defoliage and tidy,still coming along nicely ,starting to reek .ph is in normal range,start of week gave a days flush.will consider if any extra nutrients required over next few days eg.advanced overdrive.

She is stretching very well. Next watering only water as she was getting nuts every watering and slight burn on tips

Quite a few are finishing up I’m gonna start the flush in around a week then harvest few days after that, incredible thc on this strain and buds are really dense I couldn’t recommend a better autoflower then this is best I’ve ever done 💪🌱😜

Did some more defoliation this week and gave some nutrients.They are looking happy and healthy still in vegetation stage but soon I’ll switch the light cycle.I added a scrog net and will clean up the bottoms tonight as I’m ready to switch to flower soon.I want to keep them smaller if possible in the short 3x3 60 inch high tent they are in atm with a spider farmer sf1000 light 100 percent power.Also have a Co2 bag hanging and hopefully adds a little more growth during the early flowering weeks.

******Week 5 Veg - Jan 6 to 12, 2020 This was a week of growth. She grew up and did very well with a couple of her side branches thickening up. She is a very healthy girl but she is not flipping. I wrestled with this weeks journal because I wanted to get it started to show her great growth but all along I was not sure if I call this week a flower week or not. In the end I waited and I am calling it a Veg week😥😥 She is not flipping......freaking wants to though by all signs.......I got a suspicion but I hope I am wrong......I don’t want to run two flower cycles! IPM spray with Lost Coast Plant Therapy.......recent thrips experience and staying with a preventative cycle💀👻 Some branches are stiffening since the introduction for silica but others are still very pliable. The main stem is still very “bendy” and perfect for LST right now. Too soft for entering flower given the silica. Why? She has handled the light intensity fine.....she has not been going to sleep early. She has handled the nutrients well given the amount being put in anticipating her switching and wanting the flower dosages. She is beautiful little girl at first glance but she has some oddities in her growth......keeping the grow interesting she is young Skywalker😎 👍 More detail: Jan 6/20 - Day 29 - 2L RO water pH 5.7. - Run-off: 1150ppm, 6.1pH in try from last. After feed 800ppm, 6.0pH - Pot light today. Wanted plain water but she is feeding Jan 7/20 - Day 30 = life was busy........nothing done today for watering. - Pot was the heaviest of the bunch......enough to wait. - She was more droopy today.......cold in the tent though....75 degrees????? Jan 8/20 - Day 31 - Feel she is hungry so fed in AM today. - AM: full feed except no CalMag - AM run-off 900ppm, 6.2pH - PM: full feed with CalMag. - PM run-off 430ppm, 6.1pH - No time tomorrow morning and pots were not heavy so decided to feed again in evening. - She is green and happy.......no bud sites though? Jan 9/20 - Day 32 - Life busy......noting done......heavy feed yesterday. Jan 10/20 - Day 33 - Water only. 1L pH to 6.0 = IPM tonight so keeping it light today. Hit her tomorrow with full feed. = She is looking AWESOME today. Up and happy and still no buds😨😕 - Spray with Plant Therapy from Lost Coast for bug prevention. Fortunately no signs of any issues.......and this will keep it that way😁👊 Jan 11/20 - Day 34 - 2L feed. Upped the base nutrients, Dual Fuel, today to 2ml/L. Wanted to break 1,000ppm and see what happens. - With Advanced Nutrients I am usually over 1100ppm at a similar stage. - Played with light intensity in the tent today by giving them all more. - Pulled 2 fan leaves today. - Limbs are growing funny. Soft and narrow and not typical symmetrical pattern of growth. Jan 12/20 - Day 35 - huge growth night....side branches bushed out and got taller!! - Supplemental focus on this feeding.......help root zone again. - Voodoo and Piranha for two weeks again at the start of flower and promote growth. Sensyzime to help clean up the roots for better uptake. - she is 13" tall and 18" wide now. - 4 large leaves removed and two smaller nodes. Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my 🍌💜👊 girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty 🤤 Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my 🍌💜👊 girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! I switched her to flowering. After returning from my Holiday I decided I would be moving cities. I wanted to veg her longer but switched the bulbs at 8 weeks. I am finally able to sleep in the dark! This rocks! Ive also been removing a lot of the excess leaf growth just to keep her fresh and not too crowded. The cardboard screen was removed and I used 4 chopsticks to press down on the lower branches and press the tops a little further apart; This really helped to space the branches out wider and allow light to breakthrough on some of the lower nodes. I started feeding her a little bit of molasses in her water, just to aid in the flowering. I also added wood ash to the top layer before watering. Also a little compost tea every now and then.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a safe week. The Glueberry OG continues to stack on weight as seen in the timelapse with the mains starting to sag as gravity starts to affect the stacking of the flowers. She is still feeding on cal mag, maxi bloom, and Liquid Kool Bloom. I will transition her to the dry Kool Bloom probably sometime this week as I believe she is about 2 weeks or so from harvest. I am planning to harvest her around 4th of July time frame, and then I will start a few photo period mainlines for my next run. She is starting to smell very nice with an earthy smell and a hint of blueberries. I currently have the Spectrum X cranked up to 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 120 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old.
