Just trying to get back to normal life after the Thomas fire. I believe I have two phenotypes of some gorilla glue lineage as the seed came from a very tasty dispensary quarter. Even though the little ugly plants look grotesque, they are loaded with bud sites. I have photos and videos and notes of the past few weeks so I will try to back annotate. Gradually ramped light down from 18 hours to 12 after power outages due to the fire, and it was about good time to flip anyway. It is so much easier to control temperature during the winter in my space. The lights keep the space at a pretty steady 74 F. I haven’t pushed PPM and am keeping Ph in the 6-6.8 range. I’m using peony rings as support and to spread a little but I am not training for a perfectly flat canopy as I had excellent popcorn nugs in my last grow even with the lights over 2x further than optimal. Defoliated the lower branches but I am not defoliating aggressively, but will continue to remove any withering leaves. Sorry for the slow updates. The fire has been pretty traumatic for my city and myself, and I’m just getting back to normal life. My home, family and pets are safe, and the fire is mostly contained. What a fun experience! This was my first time trying a mixed grow style of synthetics and organic. I think I may have found my new go-to strategy. This definitely wasn't a perfect run by any means - as a matter of fact, I botched the feedings earlier in her life. However this grow definitely taught me a lot more about how to treat this strain properly. Now I'm running her clones in the 3x3x6. So the legacy will continue! Let's see how this strain does during the summer months! Cheers everyone! This has been an awesome grow. What I'm lacking in yield, I yet again make up for in quality. For week 3 on autos I'm used to them being a little bigger but still a lot of time left so hopefully they'll surprise me. I did a defoliation this week taking off the bigger leafs that where at soil level. I also topped one to see how it reacts to it before I do the other two. I still might try some LST training once a little bigger still undecided at the moment. All in all Happy Growing

SUGARLATO - Green house seeds - week 7 So we’re to start with sugarlato. First things first this strain and the genetics are absolutely top tier, the plant grows easy with only light defoliation done twice in 7 weeks to lolly pop it and also remove fan leaves covering bud sites. She responded well to it with no issues whatsoever. Not once has she looked unhealthy and has lush gold ball size nuggets all over her. The smell is a little earthy from the gelato but then the kings tart brings through a slight pastry sweet smell. This strain and its genetics are a 12 out of 10. Green house seeds are my new favourite. DRSHOTZUK

Well week one of flower has come and gone. I am pretty happy with the progress so far but I am a little concerned that I may have flipped a little too early. Oh well, this is my first DWC run so there will undoubtably be a learning curve. The plant looks super healthy at this point. The cooler internals are: 6.0 pH 270ppm on the 500 ppm scale. 0.5 EC 66F water temp Onward 😎🍻🌱

we continue the run with the slowing down of the stretch and the beginning of the beautiful flowers. This week my EC indicated me some things... It was at 1.8 and went up to 1.9, so I added water to lower the ec to 1.6. When my ec goes back up it tells me that I have enough nutrients in my solution. Now, the ph is back to 1.7, I will add more water to bring it down to 1.5. We can observe on some leaf tips a beginning of over-fattening, this is what I'm talking about above, I'll let you know next week if I lower the ec or if I keep 1.5. I did one last defoliation and it was needed! If you look at my vitals, it's not crazy, 70% humidity at this time of the year can become problematic, so I'm going to take the dehumidifier out and set myself at 55%.

As autumn approached, the number of daylight hours in the jungle slowly began to decrease. First to 16, two days later to 14 and at the end of the week 12. We let the girls rest and didn't have much to do apart from getting an even canopy under the screen.👨🏻‍🌾🌱 One plant showed some magnesium deficiency so gave her an Epsom salt cure. The nutrient manufacturer said that the product contains enough magnesium but apparently one of the girls didn’t find it sufficient. On day 3 watered them with de-chlorinated tap water and Silica, 3 litres. Day7 the first irrigation with Hybrid nutrients has been given, 5 litres each.
