Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

they are all growing great and starting to get taller. a very robust plant and very easy to grow and maintain. they are getiing 1/2 the recommeneded dose of nutrients 3 times a week

I put a net in to try to get a more even canopy and utilise the space of the tent. It didnt really work too well though. I ended up only leaving it in for periods as i found it really annoying to water and manage devices in the tent with the net in.

Week 30 – Flowering Week 7 (Harvest) This week marks the end of the Pineapple Upside Down flowering cycle. The plant was flushed for a full week leading up to harvest. During this final phase, light intensity was deliberately reduced to help preserve trichomes and maintain the terpene profile as much as possible. A clear color change was observed compared to the previous week, confirming the plant was reaching full maturity. Trichomes were inspected closely and showed a dominant cloudy appearance, with a balanced presence of amber and very few remaining clear trichomes. Harvest has now been completed. The plant is entering the drying phase, which is planned to run at approximately 16–17°C. Drying time is expected to be at least 15 days, possibly extending to three weeks depending on conditions. Aroma at harvest is very pronounced, with strong pineapple and exotic fruit notes. Yield is not expected to be exceptional, with a large proportion of small buds, but all material will be used. Lower-grade buds and trim will likely be processed rather than discarded. This run came with its share of challenges and difficulties, but it provided valuable lessons. The focus going forward is to refine the process, improve consistency, and aim for a repeatable quality standard. The Hobbit Hole – Woche 12 Eine weitere Woche im Hobbit Hole ist vorbei – und langsam beginnt sich die kleine Outdoor-Runde aufzulösen. 😅 Diese Woche hat sich einiges getan. Nicht unbedingt, weil die Pflanzen noch riesige Entwicklungssprünge machen, sondern weil wir inzwischen eindeutig in der Schlussphase angekommen sind. 🍨 Gelato Auto – die Erste verlässt das Hobbit Hole Für die Gelato war diese Woche Schluss. Das zunehmend unbeständige Wetter hat die Entscheidung letztendlich etwas beschleunigt. Viel zusätzliche Entwicklung war nicht mehr zu erwarten und irgendwann wird draußen das Verhältnis zwischen „noch ein bisschen mehr Reife“ und dem Risiko durch Feuchtigkeit einfach schlechter. Also fiel die Entscheidung: Gelato wird als Erste geerntet. ✂️🍨 Damit bleiben von ursprünglich drei Damen noch zwei im Hobbit Hole zurück. ☔ Ein Dach fürs Hobbit Hole Nach dem letzten Wochenupdate gab es außerdem noch ein kleines Upgrade. Am Samstag habe ich über dem Standort ein Tarp gespannt, damit die drei bei Regen nicht mehr völlig ungeschützt stehen. Gerade jetzt auf den letzten Metern möchte ich die Buds möglichst trocken halten und ihnen trotzdem noch jeden brauchbaren Sonnentag mitgeben. Aus dem Hobbit Hole ist damit endgültig eine kleine überdachte Outdoor-Höhle geworden. 😂 👠 Cinderella Auto Cindy ist inzwischen kaum noch zu übersehen, wenn man nach Zeichen der Endblüte sucht. Das Laub wird zunehmend gelb und die Pflanze zieht sichtbar ihre letzten Reserven aus den älteren Blättern. Gleichzeitig sehen die Buds weiterhin gesund und ordentlich bereift aus. Besonders der Headbud hat sich schön entwickelt. Unter dem Mikroskop wird es mittlerweile ebenfalls interessant: Viele Trichome sind milchig, daneben finden sich noch klare Köpfe und bereits die ersten eindeutig bernsteinfarbenen Exemplare. Sie ist damit klar in der Schlussphase angekommen. 🔬 Noch sehe ich keinen zwingenden Grund, sie sofort umzuhauen. Solange das Wetter mitspielt und das Tarp seinen Job macht, bekommt Cindy noch etwas Zeit. 💜 Purple Punch Auto Und Purple… nun ja. Den Namen muss man inzwischen wirklich niemandem mehr erklären. 😂💜 Sie hat sich wunderschön verfärbt. Dunkles Violett, rötliche Töne, teilweise fast schwarze Blätter und dazu die helle Trichombedeckung – optisch ist sie momentan ganz klar der Star im Hobbit Hole. Auch bei ihr ist der Fade inzwischen deutlich sichtbar und die Pflanze steckt offensichtlich nicht mehr viel Energie in Blattmasse. Beim Mikroskopcheck wirkt Purple momentan etwas weiter als Cindy. Viele der sichtbaren Trichomköpfe sind bereits milchig, einzelne bernsteinfarbene sind vorhanden, während sich dazwischen weiterhin klare Köpfe finden. Ganz exakt möchte ich hier bewusst keine Prozentzahlen nennen – gerade auf den Zuckerblättern erscheinen Trichome häufig früher bernsteinfarben als direkt auf den Kelchen. 🔬 Jetzt entscheidet das Mikroskop – und das Wetter Damit sind Cindy und Purple beide auf den letzten Metern. Ich werde jetzt nicht versuchen, auf Teufel komm raus noch möglichst viele Tage herauszuquetschen. Wenn das Wetter halbwegs mitspielt, dürfen sie weiterreifen. Wird es allerdings wieder dauerhaft nass und ungemütlich, ist mir eine gesunde Ernte wichtiger als das letzte bisschen zusätzliche Reife. Das neue Tarp verschafft mir dabei zumindest etwas mehr Spielraum. Nach Woche 12 steht damit fest: Gelato ist durch. 🍨✂️ Cindy steht kurz davor. 👠🔬 Purple wird immer dunkler und reifer. 💜 Und das Hobbit Hole hat jetzt sogar ein Dach. 😂 Mal schauen, wie viele Bewohner beim nächsten Update überhaupt noch übrig sind. Week 8 - second week of flower One plant is much smaller - still not confident on sex of any of them ... maybe that small one is a male - I’m guessing they’re all female tho. Either way i may need to slaughter that little guy - the other plants are just overtaking the tent - might not be worth keeping that little one in there. Update 6/5/19 - I’ll take some updated pics tomorrow - I’m 95% sure I have FOUR out of four female plants. Just picked up some yucca to try - and I got some more led hangers so maybe I’ll upgrade the lights today - the rapidLED far red flower initiator isn’t coming until Wednesday unfortunately but I have two more SolStix I could add. Update 6/5/19 - far red flower initiator and the two (now 4) solstix are installed - I need to make a simple aluminum frame - maybe this weekend Picked up some 29% H202 to clean the rez tank and pumps and filter etc (not to put in the nutes for the plants tho!) Got a better air pump and airstone for the rez. New Vivosun oscillating fan - wtf!? Made for grow tents but can’t turn without stopping on the sides of the tent!? - I emailed them maybe it’s defective.

The white widow was a runt but she has really picked up the pace and about caught up with the rest of the girls. She is stretching nicely and starting to build a lot of nice little top buds. She seems to have a nice balance of spacing between her buds. So excited to see how she turns out. Will be starting them on some liquid Koolbloom next week. Nutrients per gallon .5 tsp maxibloom .25 tsp maxigro .5 tsp calimagic .25 tsp armor si .1 tsp 90/10 humic/fulvic acid. Ph to 6.0

This week is going to be hot. I expect everything to hit generative 2/mid flower this week. The #1 & #2 plants should hit that phase day 2 and day 3 of this week. The #3 plant around day 7. The coop poop I top dressed with is still feeding. It should be just supplemental about mid week. I'm feeding my gen 2 formula that's in the nutrient section for this week. The plants will get that feed daily once generative two phase begins.The one I didn't top is over 7' tall. I used it's height for the plants height. The other two I topped are just over 5'.

Decided ima leave her in vegataive stage till she recovers some more from the lst/hst been using cannacure to help with the mystery pests and deformed leaves have been seeing her start to regenerate and new growth is visible thinking week 7 or 8 till I switch her to 12/12 light schedule to flower bit streaching side branches and smaller side branches off the side branches are forming I’m noting more developement by the day

Welcome to Week 3 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. It’s been extremely cold here in Canada this last few weeks and these plants are doing their best to survive- not thrive. Although they are healthy and happy, they are just not thriving like my previous Sweet Seeds grow from the fall of 2021. The temperatures are only a few degrees cooler than spring, summer and fall but the humidity is extremely low at this particular time of year- 20-25% at best. Without adding additional humidity via a humidifier, my plants are at the mercy of the dry Canadian winters. Week 3 did not bring the expected growth spurt experienced by the plants in my previous Sweet Seeds grow (the Cream Mandarine XL autos). I have included a side by side comparison photo above to show the massive difference in size between the two SS grows. It’s because of the slow growth that I have decided not to top these plants 👎🏼 I increased the water early in Week 3 to 2.1 litres per plant every 4th day (0.52 of a litre per plant per day). Hopefully these ladies pick up a little over week 4. Mom’s Tip for Week #3- To Top or Not to Top?… Topping is an simple technique used by growers to split the main stalk/stem into two separate stalks/stems. This allows for height control when growing XL strains, encourages lower branch growth creating a more equal canopy height and of course- creates two beautiful, big colas instead of one! But topping Autoflowers has long been the source of great debate so I’m here to clarify Mom’s Do’s & Don’ts when topping autos. Do top your plants if they are healthy, thriving and on track (growth wise) with other growers and any info the breeder’s might provide. Don’t top your plants if they appear unhealthy, simply surviving and behind/slow (growth wise) compared to other growers growing the same strain. Do top your Autoflowers between 3-5 weeks from seed or when your plants have grown as many sets of branches as you desire (usually 4-6 sets of branches or nodes). Don’t top your auto’s beyond the 5th-6th week as they are most likely going into full flower. Do top, prior to or very early on in the pre-flower stretch and don’t top too late in pre-flower or once budding has begun- it’s too late and you’ve missed your opportunity for this grow. Do top your plants if you know what you’re doing and you’ve got the right tools. Believe it or not, I use a sterilized set of nail clippers (dedicated to this job alone) as they deliver a clean, controlled, perfect cut every time. Don’t top your plants if you haven’t done your homework or you haven’t got the right tools. Many people use their fingers but I find they are too large and awkward for such a precise job. More than once I have missed (FIM’d) or taken one of the two baby branches that are supposed to be left behind or simply injured those tiny developing branch sites by accident. Do top your autoflowers if you are growing a large/XL strain in a small/short space. This allows the grower to influence/control the overall height of the plants and creates a more equal/level canopy of foliage and eventually bud. Don’t top your auto’s if you are growing a short, fast flowering strain as this can sometimes stall/stunt them a tiny bit. Some Autoflowers run such a tight seed to harvest schedule that they legitimately cannot afford any interruptions in their growing cycle so check the breeder’s info before you chop. Do have fun with growing your Cannabis and don’t be afraid to try something new. Don’t top your Auto’s expecting to triple your yield though. I have learned that it will change the shape and height of your plants and you’ll end up with less low level, larfy bud but your yields will be almost identical whether you top or not. ✂️✂️✂️

💜 Purple CousKush Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B | Week 9 🌿 Elegant, Green & Right On Point Some plants make you work for the compliments. Others simply stand there and make you smile. Purple CousKush Pheno B is definitely becoming one of those plants. Week after week, she has maintained the same quiet elegance that made me like her from the beginning. She isn't trying to dominate the room. She isn't trying to become the tallest. She isn't demanding constant intervention. She's simply growing. And growing beautifully. This week, I'm looking at her and seeing something I really love: consistency. The plant is healthy. The structure is beautiful. The foliage is incredibly lush and deep green. The flowers are developing exactly where I want them to be. And those little developing buds are starting to take on that beautiful golf-ball-like formation, with the flowers becoming increasingly defined along the branches. She is simply... on point. Exactly where she should be. And honestly? She's a delight to grow. 🌸 Week 6 Flower – Right Where She Needs To Be Purple CousKush Pheno B remains around 96 cm, keeping her firmly in the more compact category of the 8×8 Adventure. But by now, I've stopped looking at her height as a limitation. It's simply part of who she is. She's built a compact, balanced architecture and she's using it extremely well. The branches are carrying developing flowers. The bud sites are becoming more pronounced. The structure is filling in. And the entire plant has that beautiful feeling of a flowering plant moving confidently through her cycle. There is no rush. No drama. No obvious need for correction. She's just progressing. And at this point in flowering, that's exactly what I want to see. 💚 That Green... Let's talk about the colour. Because honestly... look at her. That deep, lush green is one of the first things that catches my eye every time I look at this plant. The foliage has that rich, healthy appearance that makes the flowers stand out beautifully against it. And I'm starting to think there's something bigger happening here. Across this 8×8 Adventure, I'm seeing remarkably lush foliage on a lot of these girls. And while genetics obviously play an enormous role — enormous — I'm increasingly convinced that the quality and consistency of the nutrition program are also contributing to what we're seeing. Good genetics give you the potential. Good nutrition helps the plant express that potential. And when the two come together under a stable environment... That's when things get interesting. So this week, I definitely want to give Plagron some extra love. Because I'm genuinely impressed by the overall health and colour we're seeing throughout this run. But let's be very clear: It starts with genetics. Without good genetics, there is only so much a grower can do. You can have the best environment. The best lights. The best nutrition. The best equipment. But you still need a plant with something worth expressing. And these Purple CousKush girls are giving us exactly that. Genetics first. Then cultivation. Then environment. And when those pieces come together... you get plants like this. 🌸 The Buds Are Starting To Look Like Little Golf Balls This is probably my favourite visual change this week. The individual flowering sites are becoming increasingly rounded and substantial. Those little clusters are beginning to look almost like small golf balls forming along the branches. Not finished flowers. Not mature colas yet. But clearly developing structures that are gaining shape and volume. And surrounded by those beautiful white pistils? Absolutely gorgeous. The contrast between the deep green leaves, the developing green flower structures and those bright white hairs is something I could photograph all day. Every week, the flowers become a little more defined. A little more substantial. A little more recognizable. And that's when you start realizing just how quickly flowering is moving. She's building. Quietly... but she's building. ? Those White Hairs The pistils remain beautifully prominent across the flowers. Bright. Fresh. White. And reaching outward from the developing calyxes. They're one of those visual indicators that make the progression of flowering so easy to appreciate when you're documenting the same plant week after week. You look at a photograph from several weeks ago. Then you look at her now. And suddenly you see it. The flowers have changed. The structure has changed. The plant has matured. She's no longer simply starting to flower. She's becoming a flowering plant. And we're getting closer and closer to seeing what this phenotype ultimately wants to become. 🌿 No Need To Touch What Isn't Broken One thing I particularly appreciate about this phenotype is how little she asks from me. The canopy doesn't look like it needs another major intervention. The structure is open enough. The flowers have space. The foliage is healthy. Air can move through the plant. Light can reach the important areas. So I'm not going to manufacture work. There's a temptation in cultivation to always be doing something. Cut this. Move that. Remove another leaf. Adjust something. Change something. But sometimes... the plant is telling you to leave her alone. And I'm listening. She's doing beautifully. So she gets to keep doing beautifully. 💡 Light, Structure & Flower Development The lighting strategy remains consistent, with the Future of Grow Black Series providing the primary overhead light and the Lumiflora system adding light beneath the canopy. The interesting part now isn't whether the plant has light. She does. The interesting part is how she's using the environment we've created. Her compact structure gives her a naturally efficient architecture. The flowering sites are distributed through the plant rather than being buried inside an excessively dense mass. And with the canopy management we've already done earlier in the run, we're now in the phase where I want to let the plant use the space we've created. We're not chasing perfection. We're not trying to expose every flower. We're simply giving her a good environment and allowing her genetics to do the rest. And she's doing exactly that. 💜 Same Genetics. Different Personality. But I can say one thing with confidence: I really like where she's going. Not the most productive strain in my experience, but the sativa high in the beginning and indica in the end is cool=) Smell - cheese, pinewood and grass. Easy in growing. The plant of this strain likes phosphor during the flowering stage. Finishes to flower quite quickly. One of the top autoflowerings for me now. Не самый урожайный сорт, однако даёт очен сильный сативный хай в начале и индичный стоун в конце. Вкус - сырный сосновый, пряно-травянистый. Очень легок в выращивании, любит фосфор на цветении, довольно быстро отцветает) Теперь один из топовых для меня автоцветов)
