7/30/23 - Day 48 - OK, so last I posted, I have been waiting to see how tall she grows. She does not seem to be stopping her growth I'm going to try some super cropping. I've never done this before, but it honestly does not seem like a bad thing. Hurt the plant a little, and the response should be more THC. The reason for hurting the plant is so that you can bend the plant as you need it. She's sleeping now, but when she wakes up, ill take a look and possibly start to super crop. Currently, I am working on implementing the auto water feature of the LEAF Grow system, which is quite convenient to set up. All it requires is to hook it up to a standard hose outlet, saving you time and effort. By using Reverse Osmosis (RO) water instead of tap water, I can ensure a controlled and optimal environment for my plants. Tap water contains various additives like copper, zinc, and chlorine, which can't be measured precisely and might affect plant growth. In a successful grow operation, every aspect needs careful control, and water is of utmost importance. RO water, with its near-zero ppm, ensures that there are no unwanted additives, offering the best conditions for plant development. Although RO water is not produced under pressure, I've found a suitable solution to address this concern. To achieve the required pressure for the LEAF unit, which is rated for 30 - 80 PSI, I've researched and discovered that a sump pump would work perfectly in this setup. This pump adds the necessary 30 PSI to the water line as it is drawn from the inlet, eliminating the need to pressurize a bottle or container, thus avoiding potential hazards associated with excessive pressure. I'll be documenting my progress with pictures as I set up this system, and I can't wait to witness the auto water feature in action, saving me from the hassle of manually adding water. Super Crop: I did about half of the plant in a Super Crop today. Meaning I damaged the branches enough to bend them. The plant will work overtime to fix them, but also, the Resin and THC will be surging through the plant in a rush to be more defensive against what it more than likely a predator eating it. I did my best to make the branches pliable. I think I did a good job. I was so scared that I was going to snap them.... and I did; on a couple, they split up the side. So I grabbed my duct tape and added a bandaid. I have been worried sick about how she would handle all the destruction. After about 3 hrs, I saw that all the Super Cropped branches were already reaching back up. This is a great sign that the plant is doing well and that all the branches I was sure were to fall off are thriving. Again I think this box is magic. The topping didn't stunt any growth, trimming a 3-gallon bucket full of leaves 1st week into flower didn't stunt any growth, and Super Cropping 2 weeks into flowering seems to be thriving. I'm going to get to experiment with this LEAF box on all kinds of strains. The possibilities are endless. Just one theory I want to try, Purple. I want to grow a strain known for its purple, and I want to grow it a few times, each time growing it colder and colder to document and show how cold might affect the purple color like we have all read and heard about. These are the kinds of things that I think about and why I choose LEAF. Ill be back to update tomorrow morning. 8/1/23 - Day 50 - I updated some of the pictures. Flowering is going well. Every day the water is less, and the buds are bigger! I scoped out some of the buds already. Now we just wait. i have a water change coming up in a few days. As always ill add some more pics as we go along. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

Day 73: Day 74: + 2L Flaschenwasser ++ Dünger mit wenig CalMag + final PH 6.10 Day 75: Day 76: + 2L Flaschenwasser ++ Dünger mit wenig CalMag + final PH 6.10 Day 77: Trichome sind noch nicht ganz fertig .

Week 2 - Cash Express (Pheno A) 💸🌱 Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from the 8×8 Adventure! For anyone joining the journey for the first time, this run follows multiple Zamnesia cultivars and phenotypes grown side-by-side under a 12/12-from-seed schedule. Each phenotype receives its own dedicated diary so we can document individual development, compare expressions, and observe how different plants reveal their genetics from seed to harvest. By documenting Pheno A and Pheno B separately, we can follow each plant’s individual story from seed to harvest. Some phenotypes develop similarly, while others immediately begin showing their own personality. Cash Express Pheno A has already made it clear that she belongs in the second category. This project is conducted entirely under a 12/12-from-seed schedule. Rather than extending the vegetative period, the plants receive 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness from day one. The goal is not maximum plant size but rather an efficient exploration of genetics, structure, vigor, and flowering characteristics while maintaining a manageable garden. Week 2 Overview The second week has brought excellent development throughout the entire room. Seedlings are rapidly transitioning into young vegetative plants, root systems continue expanding beneath the surface, and growth rates have noticeably increased compared to the first week. PPFD has now been increased to approximately 370 µmol/m²/s, providing additional energy as the plants become capable of handling stronger light levels. Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week: • Light Schedule: 12/12 • Day Temperature: 27°C • Night Temperature: 25°C • Relative Humidity: 55% • Solution Temperature: 20.1°C • Substrate Temperature: 21°C • CO₂: Ambient (~600 ppm) Watering remains intentionally moderate at this stage. Each plant received approximately 250 ml on Day 8 and another 250 ml on Day 11. Nutrient levels were gradually increased throughout the week as the plants continued responding positively to feeding. Week-ending values: • EC: 0.9 mS/cm • pH: 6.0 Current feeding schedule: • Terra Grow – 1.8 ml/L • Pure Zym – 1 ml/L • Power Roots – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L The response across the room has been extremely positive, with healthy color, strong growth, and no signs of nutrient stress. Cash Express Pheno A This phenotype appears to have received one simple instruction from the start: Grow. And keep growing. While the rest of the room is developing nicely, Cash Express Pheno A seems determined to stay one step ahead of the pack. At only Week 2 she is already establishing herself as one of the most vigorous plants in the entire 8×8 Adventure. Growth has been rapid, consistent, and balanced, with every new set of leaves emerging larger than the last. The first thing that stands out is her size. Even compared to her own sister phenotype, the difference is becoming noticeable. For that reason, a few comparison photos have been included in this update so readers can easily see the contrast without needing to jump between diaries. The second thing that stands out is the quality of the growth. Leaf structure is excellent. Symmetry is excellent. Color is excellent. Node development is uniform and well spaced. From the very beginning, this plant has shown remarkably clean development, producing healthy leaves with excellent shape and vibrant green coloration throughout the canopy. There are no strange growth patterns to investigate. No unusual leaf morphology. No signs of hesitation. Just healthy, confident growth. Sometimes the most exciting phenotype is not the weird one. Sometimes it’s the one that simply does everything right. And right now, Cash Express Pheno A is doing exactly that. Development Notes During Week 2, the plant continued building structure at an impressive pace. Five-finger leaves are now clearly established and becoming increasingly prominent. New growth remains vigorous, internodal spacing looks balanced, and the plant is developing the strong foundation needed for the coming weeks. The canopy continues expanding evenly while maintaining excellent symmetry from side to side. Overall, this phenotype currently represents one of the strongest examples of healthy early vegetative development in the room. Mr. Baggy Report Mr. Baggy remains actively involved in daily operations throughout the 8×8 Adventure. Current responsibilities include growth inspections, environmental supervision, quality control assessments, and occasional morale boosting. His enthusiasm remains considerably higher than his documented productivity. Looking Ahead If development continues at the current pace, next week should bring: • Significant canopy expansion • Larger five-finger leaves • Additional node development • Stronger stem growth • Increased branching potential • Further phenotype expression At the moment, Cash Express Pheno A appears determined to lead from the front, and it will be exciting to see whether she can maintain that momentum as the project progresses. Final Thoughts Week 2 leaves me extremely impressed with this phenotype. Healthy growth. Excellent structure. Beautiful foliage. Strong vigor. Everything about this plant suggests she has settled comfortably into her environment and is eager to continue pushing forward. While many plants reveal their personality through unusual traits, Cash Express Pheno A is making her statement through pure performance. For now, she seems to have only one destination in mind: The moon. A huge thank you to everyone following along, commenting, sharing advice, and supporting the project. Special thanks to Zamnesia, Plagron, Future of Grow, and everyone helping make this journey possible. Most importantly, thank you to the entire growing community for continuing to share knowledge, encouragement, and passion for growing. Thank you for stopping by, and I’ll see you all next week for another update from the 8×8 Adventure. Growers Love DD🌱💚

I really enjoyed this strain and I’m very glad I was able to see it through until the end. I wanted to harvest 9 days ago or so, but got advice from a lot of fellow growers who told me to remain patient and ignore all wishful thinking. The average time from seed to harvest for this plant is 70-80 days, I managed to harvest on day 87. The smell is loud and she looks beautiful. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to get these genetics again in the future. Completely satisfied with using this strain as an introduction into growing.

Straw lectric lemonade is one of the best plants in the tent. No surprise seeing every seed in the pack popped really well so this is the best out of 8 plants or so I’m super excited about this one I had my on this one soon as I saw it photo on NASC when it dropped a year ago or so

This one is the runt of the group, but she is still kicking. Started getting some yellowing on the lower leaves on all the plants. I increased the maxibloom a little today so hoping that makes them a little happier. I also changed the setup where the plants dont sit on top of the reservoir. This will make it easier to adjust the nutes if needed. I also hooked up a valve to adjust the water flow because I had a couple overflows last week. These cups are just packed full of roots. This "little" grow has become a lot of work. Chugging along though....

They're all doing well as far as I can tell. I've put a tubular heater in-between the pots that comes on when the lights go off as the temperature drops quick in there. Watering as usual but other than that I only check on them about 15 times a day. I tested the run off water for the first time and was 6.3 pH which is what I put in. Was also the first time I'd even emptied them as they normally just dry up by next feed. There's orange hairs on some of the lower buds now guess they're maturing 🤔 Was looking in to getting a microscope to have a look at the trichomes but tried using my phone camera first which I thought didn't do a bad job 😊 is only a S10 so would imagine the newer phones do an even better job 👍 Have what seems to be a CalMag deficiency in all 3 plants but only just came up in rusty spots from 12am to 6am they just appeared was really pissed off and worried about them all day at work 😪 gave them all a CalMag and 6.5 pH water soak of 500ml each and a 200ml foliar CalMag spray for extra effectiveness haha 🙄 and then gave them their normal feed til run off.. the trays were a bit slimy 🤔 hopefully it sorts itself out and have learnt to just use the CalMag every feed to be sure.

Welcome to Week 10, & 21 days into flower ! Feeling pretty under the weather today, not only because i seem to have picked up a head cold..( I've already been tested for covid.. negative..) Pretty annoyed that no matter how much i interact on this site, try to build friendships that benefit both of us reading each others work.. none will even visit my diary, but what is the point in crying about it.., BUT at the same point, why bother writing.. none reads it lol Enjoy your fucking Week. ill see none next week
