2025/02/12: third flowering week is last Orgatrex/Bactrex shot week... I decided to lighten it as I can see lock or deficiencies again. I may flush another time : maybe rain water isn't as good as I thought? Anyway, trichromes are here!

This week, the plant is feeding heavily and has grown well. I super cropped the main stem to help with the plant becoming too tall, afterwards I made some scaffolding and a sling to hold the break and prevent it from snapping. It has taken very well. Before the training I performed, I used 4 bamboo canes to stake the base. The plant had become very top heavy so this has really helped. The plant was becoming very tall so I thought this would be something to try out. Here's what I did this week. 18.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients; 💜 2ml Ecothrive Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 365 22.7.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 1 TSP Sea K PH: 6.6 PPM: 485 25.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5, containing the following nutrients; 💜 2ml Ecothrive Trace 💜 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.5 PPM: 361 28.7.25: I watered with 6.5ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; 💜 7ml Trace 💜 1.5 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.0 PPM: 351 Thank you for checking in this week and hanging out in the comments 😁💚✌️🌱🙌

We are at the beginning of the 9th week of flowering. The trichomes are slowly beginning to change color. I'm now going on vacation for 9 days, I couldn't have planned it any shittier. But anyway, I've decided to keep them growing and then probably harvest them straight after my vacation.

So for the last week or two, i've implemented Plagrons green sensation to help bulk up the buds and it appears to have helped... With that being said, divine seeds both times i've grown than the buds have been fat and healthy... Big shouts out to them for having such amazing contests... I truly wish I had the room so I could have a whole bunch of their genetics running for this contest, because they're auto flowers are really good... As everybody knows, autos are hit-and-miss. Muy buenas amigos!!! Como veis, vamos a comenzar el seguimiento de la Gelato Auto de Fastbuds. Nunca hemos cultivado autos y esperemos que nuestra primera experiencia sea aceptable para realizar un buen testeo. Según lo que tengo entendido, este banco tiene una de las genéticas más potentes dentro del mundo de la auto. En nuestro caso hemos elegido Gelato porque es una variedad que nunca hemos probado y nos llama mucho la atención, además de ser una de las variedades más potentes de este banco. En primer lugar, hemos colocamos una servilleta de papel de cocina húmeda en un tupper y hemos puesto las semas encima, con sus respectivas etiquetas para identificarlas, centrándonos en la Gelato (el papel debe estar siempre húmedo pero no llegar a encharcarse). Luego ya podemos colocarle otra capa de papel húmedo por encima de las semas para que mantenga mejor la temperatura y la humedad. Cuando tenemos las semas recubiertas del papel y colocadas en el tupper podemos cerrar este y dejarlo en un sitio con una temperatura entre 20 y 26 grados y a oscuras. A los tres días han germinado todas las semas perfectamente y confirmamos la efectividad de este banco 6/6. Aunque nosotros nos vamos a centrar como habíamos dicho en la Gelato. Decir que solamente nos hemos encargado de mantener el papel húmedo pulverizando cuando era necesario, y de colocar el tupper en un sitio cálido en total oscuridad. De lo demás se ha encargado el método del papel que nunca falla y la calidad de la genética... El último paso de esta semana lo hemos finalizado con el trasplante de las semas a los jiffys. Hay que tener mucho cuidado a la hora de manipular las semas, intentad tocar lo menos posible la radícula o raíz, ya que estas son muy delicadas y pueden coger cualquier infección o ser dañadas. Una vez colocadas en los jiffys hemos regado un poquito y a esperar con paciencia que salga... dear grow community, I report back with the fifth week of my Northern light auto grow. This week my plants have started to flower. They have grown extremely well and I have a lot of fun taking care of them. I have now stopped using LST as I want the plants to grow upwards. I have also changed my fertilizer. I also changed my sodium vapor lamp from veg to flower. I'm looking forward to see my babies flower and hopefully produce big buds. Day 2 flip: Due to the other plants in the room , I needed to flip the lights to flower. I was worried she wouldnt really be big enough to benefit from the flowering yet but ad it is a tester seed for my own cross , I wanted to see the buds it creates rather than a big yield yet. I have about 15 of these crosses that I separated as they popped out and among the many that I mixed together during the panic to remove the offending male, "Billy big bollocks", to stop him ruining anymore of my vestal virgins. The result of the Gorilla Zkittelz/Blue Gelato41 is impressing the hell out of me so far. She is a lot younger than her neighbours by 2 weeks in some cases but she is the biggest in her NFT tray now. I have been training her with bends and squashes into a quadline of sorts and I am not dissapointed either response. The below decks nodes are stacking right behind each other's heads and look like they will remain close together. This is a bonus as I have a friend growing another cross of my gelato (RQS Hulkberry/Gelato)that is 1.2M tall and colas from the base to the many tips. I dont have space for any more monsters with the fastbuds testers going wild. lol The Zkittel pheno can go two ways too as I had two different ones in a previous grow that both produced rock solid buds but were very different in growth rate and structures. The Gelato gene is also a lanky lady from her sativa background so seeing a squat ,thick plant at this stage indicates a fat colas short girl is coming. I will be popping a cross in each new run i do as I want to see what I have created here with these and also as I a have always fancied a go at breeding seeds. I feel like this is week 7 of flowering not week 6 I think I may of missed a week at the beginning of flowering. I have been feeding her a 25l mixture of feed a week. 3.3 ltr a day. It has been taking this really well, been doing for 2 weeks now. Going to start my flush on 20/10 and also planing to drill her on the same day. Will take photos. She is really starting to fatten up now, can see them buds get bigger and bigger everyday!!! Still keeping the feeds up trying to get as much as I can in her!!!! Still keep the comments coming in!!!! Is she amazing or what!? Start the flush when!? When to harvested her!? Would love to know what everyone thinks!!!

8/21/24 1tsp foundation which is cal mag. 2 tsp bloom and 3 tsp grow. she is a super leafy plant. defoliated quite a bit and cleaned up underneath for the larfy stuff.

Day 21: So we are currently in day 21, I finished all my work for my growroom. They where pushed into flowering 5 days ago. They always need to settle first before even turning into that stage. So my gues that in the end of the next week we will start to see the first indicators. I still gave them veg nutrients this week since they are still in growing stage. I did notice that many plants have weak stems and where sloppy underneeth. Didn't liked that, so in order to have thicker stems and branches I decided to top all the plants ( not showing in these picutues, i did that after making the pictures) Topping your plants will create stronger thick stems and branches! Also removed the first 1-2 internodes on each branch. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant. I can't remember the ''science'' behind it but I have been told that many years ago by fellow OG Dutch growers and Family members. Anyway It is importend to have uneven branches. So 5, 7 or even 9 but never 6 or 8. Normaly I would have loved a huge main cola and it is known by many amnesia growers to not top the plants because they make beautifull thick main colas. On the other hand, when having this much plants on each m2, it will create weak stems and branches. I rather have strong plants with thick stems and branches to transport all nutrients properly and not breaking when having buds on them or having to mayor support them. The leafs, stems and branches look fine to me. No stress or deficiencies. 1/3 of them like to drink thought which is a good thing but it really enjoying. Now I have to weigh by lifting the pots which one needs more or less feedings lol. Instead of giving them all like 5 seconds of water. Might show you guys my feeding ''barrel'' next week. It is a 250L one. Untill next week.

This was my very first grow ever, so it's hard for me to judge how it went, but I definitely think I made a few mistakes along the way. I didn't feed her much, and I probably ran into some pH issues too. The roots eventually reached the bottom reservoir, and I kept topping it up with unpHed tap water, so she kind of ended up transitioning into a semi-hydro setup without me really planning for it. I only had an airstone in the reservoir that was turning on/off every 15 minutes. I harvested her on day 97 and dried her in the same tent at around 60% humidity. Unfortunately, I had no way to bring the temperature down to around 15°C, it stayed between 21–24°C the whole time. After about 10 days, she was already dry. I could still smell a bit of that fresh-cut grass scent, so I'm guessing I may have lost some terps during drying. I trimmed her as best as I could, and the final dry weight came out to 138 grams. She’s curing now in glass jars, and I added a small humidity meter inside. So far it’s holding steady at 62%.

Day 66 Day 23 Flower 02/06/24 sunday Feed today! She is looking amazing, bud sites at nice distance this time, she has a strong structure. Light lower defoliation and final lollipop of tidy bud sites reforming. She is starting to smell like garlic / gas it's quite strong already. Dropped down again now to bottom of tent she has full headroom to bloom 💚 Not much else to say this week. Day 67 Day 24 Flower 03/06/24 monday Big feed today she was quite dry she happily took 4L I did 5L with a few drips of run off. She's really doing well in the flower transition. Will update pictures tomorrow. ## Since the weather has got warmer, I have been flooded with fungus gnats. So I have prepared my own organic pesticide spray. Boiling 2.5L water with 1 chopped onion, 1tbsp of chilli flakes, and 3 spoons of ground garlic. Boil for 10mins, simmer for 20. Allow to cool, Sieve off bits and lumps and pour into desired spray bottle. I prepped the soil first by applying ground cinnamon (helps to fight bad bacteria) a sprinkle to top soil. Then applied my sprayed to the soils, giving a generous spray, I left the canopy as already in flower and adding moisture to flowing buds a no go 🤦‍♂️ Already 24hrs after I see the difference, no more air born flies already 🙌😁💚 ## Day 69 Day 26 Flower 05/06/24 Wednesday PHd water and calmag today. Pictures updated. Not much else to say except seeing more developments towards her bud site now.

Growing this popsicle cake definitely had its ups and downs. What started out looking like a dud of a seed turned out to be something pretty spectacular. Stacks the buds nicely to fill up the whole colas, super frosty, with an un godly stench of sweaty dirty socks. Still in the curing process but definitely has a heavy indica punch!

Day 82: Starting CBD on just water, going to start harvesting her top buds shortly. Mexican's large leaves are starting to get yellow so I've cut them off, she's starting to smell fruity. Green is still growing. Just adding the contest video entry. CBD is looking plump, her top tier trichs are looking cloudy. Evening: Put CBD underneath some intense lighting and cut off her top bud, 4g wet, did a quick trim and hung her. I'll let the rest go until the weekend. Sometimes I can't wait and need to cut. Each cut of a large fan leaf, or the stem you get a very fruity & bubblegum scent.
