Welcome to my MilkyWay F1 Auto Diary, Untopped VS topped. Results are in. Days 71-82 ripening 0-13 week 11&12 Went well. She did bulk up a tad. But not much. They spent most their lives under a 100w. But, the bud is really dense all over. No larf, at all. Its a really good quality of bud I'm getting from both phenos. As far as ToppedVsUntopped well, that result is in. With a seeds used from the same pack (same parent) making true F1s as they need to be from the same batch. It why we all got different phenos, and those who ran more than 1, from their seeds, the phenos are very close. One of mine had more of a fade and looks more purple. Both smell very lovely & fruity. Nice trichome production with very dense but, rather small buds if I do say so. But the grade itself is very high. (As grade is not rated on size) overall both turned out very similar. Even fade wise, they've both developed a lovely colour finishing under high co2 environment with the SE5000 really has brought out a lot of fade i normally do not get. look at the start. It was only a few days under this light and the past 14 days they've both popped. I will also say. A lot of their life was spent under a 12-12 (3/5s of flowering). Topped VS Untopped pheno 2 & 1 Are very similar as I've stated this area will be filt in with harvest comments. Bud smell. How the dry went. And after a weeks cure. I'll rate it. So watch this space. These 2 phenos have been on just water for 10 days. I did a quick run off test. Got back 145ppm my tap is 110. So, they're good to go. Trichome wise. 95% cloudy 30-35% amber. (Hard to see, I'll try get pics with my scope) but, as you see. Both are fully ripened. Anymore and its just bud deg. Both plants leaves are showing end of life. Some are dying. (I'VE BEEN WATCHING THESE LEAVES AND SEEN THEY'VE BEEN DEAINED, ITS NOT BR) Lights The SE5000 was used for the Ripening phase. With high temps and co2 i pushed my boundaries and got a lovely fade reaction from doing so. How I know its down to this light as I've put my Runtz under it. And as soon as I did. It developed fade. My Frosted G even started getting light purple on its sides. The temp in tent has been pushed to 31-33c (that's not leaf temp as I've fans blowing on my plants, and that lowers surface temps by a few degrees.) They've been on 17hrs of high powered light. At 25-30cm id no choice. My temps are mad high this time of year. Harvested Both plants are been pult they're getting their last few hrs. You'll then see the last few pics in a few hrs. I'll get bud shots later, smoke reviews and then to be fair. I'll then mark it by the GD rating system. As I do with all my strains. (So I've 2-3 wk delay in my diaries as they're Harvested, mostly) both plants I'll try push them as far as I can through the drying process whole. But, as I'm dealing with high temps. Lower RH and a fastercl dry is pref to a longer dry in hot conditions might not make sense, but 30+ hot weather harvests, I've got this down. Mind you only this round all my other hot harvests some took a few weeks to rid the hay smell. This avoids it and locks in potency. Most of the drying is done by leaving the plant in the substrate just before the plant goes for itself for fluids. 4-5 day dry as opposed to 5-6 day dry with weed that loses half its stenght. (dry harvesting look it up) Thanks to James from RQS, although I know everyone and their sister got the offer for these seeds I am defo going to be trying more from RQS, if it's buying. I'll get round to it, and depending on the quality of smoke it might be soon. If its a real nice auto, I'd love to try a fem of theirs for my winter crop in October. But, that'll depend. I've lots I want to buy & try.. and when favs are found. I'll invest. I would like to thank everybody for the activity this diary has gotten. Its possibly one of my most active diaries I've done without a harvest. And that's in no short means down to all the views and likes from you guys. And for sure I will fully complete it, with results on the smoke Quality from both phenos, if it varies, but, results thus far, structure wise they're shockingly similar. Scary so. Topping has very little affect to the structure. She grew a main cola. But both phenos, turned puples I will say the topped one was a more troublesome plant. Maybe that had a role onin its morphology. And maybe it'll affect the bud also. The topped was more demanding nutrient wise, and drank more. Maybe to support a more even bud load. (I've yet to do a through inspection, but on the VS front, it's kinda in the air about quality, structure wise, it had very little difference. Look for yourself at the heights are 3-4cm dif) lots still to come. And I'll update it soon with more results. Although both phenos owe their bud quality to 2 x 100 watts SF-1000 (SE5000 was used for ripening lovely fade) and I used a P1000, they shared even light distribution in the end for the most part. Plants are growing at a insane rate, going to give them one more week but could have got a good result flipping them today. But I will be patient and wait. Big roots big fruits

Finally the Cal Mag Xtra arrived. Couple days after the feeding, the signs of it started fading. Later in the week I placed the net on them. I minimally trimmed the bottom half of the plants. One plant had started flowering already, others where smaller and behind. I also do not have any clue if what I was doing wasn't setting them back. So I held back a bit. Let's see what happens.

Good week, all in flower and getting bigger. The zombie is fully back to life and catching up. Defoliated the four plants and used RQS Bigger/Sweeter/Thicker.

Currently at her 8th or 9th node, she’s branching out beautifully, vigor, symmetry, structure. This girl is showing early signs of dominance, with a wide frame and a hunger for light. Her architecture screams “future canopy queen.” 📸 We took her to the photo studio again this week and wow. She’s a natural in front of the lens. Her structure is clean, confident, and glowing under the full-spectrum light. ⸻ 🌱 Mango Kush #2 – The Rising Sister Much younger, but full of potential. Currently pushing her 4th pair of leaves, this one was a late germination and is only about 2.5 weeks old since she popped above soil. Despite her smaller size, there’s something familiar about her. Her leaf shape and structure closely mimic Mango #1 during her early days, tight internodes, round fans, calm posture. Genetics run strong here. We’re keeping her in veg for as long as possible, but next week we’re flipping everything to flower, which means she’ll start blooming early. It’s not ideal, but it’s necessary, as the older girls (Mango #1, the Lava Cake and the rest of the sisters) are growing fast and space must be balanced. ⸻ 💧 Nutrients – No Change, Still Precision We’re keeping the Aptus Holland formula exactly as it is for this week. The girls are loving it, and there’s no sign of deficiency or excess. Die "Eltern" sind (GG4 Auto F6 x Bruce Banner Auto F5) x Sour Diesel Auto F5 und das ergibt eine F3 feminisierte dreifache Polyhybrid Autoflower. Klingt schonmal heftig. Der Strain ist beim Autoflowerworldcup 2025 zur stärksten Autoflower gewählt worden. Mit dem Versprechen, süsse, cremige Aromen zu produzieren, muss ich diese Pflanze testen. The hardest part of growing, is the time for harvest... I didn't do the norm, no 12/12 I do 10/14.. Do I harvest? I flushed her out, its only week 6 of flower, and I feel like there is plenty of time for these babies to bulk up... things are on cruise control, moon mintz is a 9 week flowering plant. She is looking absolutely BEAUTIFUL. This whole grow, except the hermie... has been a blessing. I love this plant, seeing my efforts going into these huge buds is very very amazing.

So far, so good. And now in the 5th week, all Sweet Seeds started flowering. However, Madame Jealousy is far from having enough of growth. One of my favorite features to observe in her: She takes her time. So far all phenotypes from the strain have been like this. As a result, it already feeds itself stably into the starting blocks. Makes sense.

Had a slow growth due to my veg tent had very low humidity but they starting to bounce back to life

The Wonder Pie were showing signs of deficiencies so I added 2ml/L of liquid worm castings to see if it helps, also top-dressed diatomaceous earth to help get rid of the fungus gnats. Will top dress the powdered nutrients again in 1-2 weeks. Also foliar sprayed them with Sugar Candy Syrup to help with the deficiencies. I'll go with bigger plants next time because I think I won't get much from these smaller plants. Other than that, just waiting for them to do their thing and hopefully harvest in 5 weeks or so.

Everything moving along. Humidity has been a challenge due to the weather but other than that life is good. Just about 5 weeks left.

I plan to grow the best 2 in hydro and the best 2 in soil On 40% power Big Thank you to Medicgrow for the opportunity to use the LED - I am under no pressure or obligation to promote this item , I will give you my honest opinion, and we will see the results , it’s actually a bit bigger than imagined , first test with the lux meter showed awesome spread and distribution, I have one thing that I didn’t understand, using the hangers , you need a degree in engineering to understand , I looked , I pondered, I scratched my head a little smoked a joint , still couldn’t comprehend,so I used 6 ratchets = 🤪 All of them are cuttings I took from a naughty strawberry cheesecake Ps The big green power supply there’s nothing to do with the medicgrow fold 6 ,( the power supply is in the middle )it’s from another light that I just can’t be bothered to move because I’ve got nowhere to put it Wednesday-watered the soil , topped up the pots and added 2ml of A+B hydrogrow Thursday upped the power to 60% this is the recommended setting , but I was a little cautious, I didn’t want to burn anything Probably going to cull down to 6 this week , 3 of each - throw the others - see what happens

Started giving them plain water to flush before harvest. Buds look like they are still chunking up though. They have like a lemon smell too i was not expecting. Great strain for sure

So we are entering week 6. Time pass fast! For me they are look good. 2nd light really helped, might be going a little crazy but i just got in my 200w spiderfarmer 😅 i thought they could use this extra boost of light for bloom. And did some small LST, and still doing it. Just pulling them down with

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** Ok big update this week, I finally edited the footage of the lights and got their unboxing photos processed, this took way longer then expected and should have been done on germination or week 1 entry but better late then never. You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine.
