Commencing Week 8: day 50 on January 19th Update is late my sincerest apologies. I will make it up by giving a very thorough smoke report when all is done. Otherwise all is going very well 😁😁👏👏 On day 50 I took the head off of bloody skunk. I checked trichome colors under USB microscope. At least 90% fully milky-white with maybe 5 or 6% Amber and the remainder clear. 😁 On day 55 I gave all of the plants a fan leaf trim including the remaining bottom half of bloody skunk. as I sit here and think about it I believe this will help with ensuring the entire plant ripens and matures at the same time - versus the tops being ready before the bottoms. I still plan on letting the bottoms of all these plants go way beyond the recommended time to see if I can initiate the process of rodelization. Either way I am glad to report that Bloody skunks pollenization looks like it is resulting in some seeds. (See photo). In hindsight my only concern is that because the plant finished a bit earlier than I expected the seeds may not make it to full maturity but I believe it should be okay we'll just have to wait and find out. It was my first time ever growing a weedplant, loved doing! Surprised me to see how fast these plants change in a day time, fascanating! Happy with the outcome for a first time, on to the next!

Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit again but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid jeopardizing the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The good thing is that as soon as the lights are turned off the change is already visible a bit and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should also be dehumidified) - Our two Karen Kush plants had a bit of a hard time during the vegetative stage and I applied my emergency rule when a plant isn't doing very well. The plant that was having the most trouble was topped and is now about to send out 8 central tops and two lateral tops that were LSTed and have been branched out, really beautiful, great work, I told the guys at Zamensia that I was trying to come up with something and fingers crossed it seems I succeeded. A result that is obviously pleasing to the eye as well. Beautiful. This one is still in the vegetative stage in a separate small growbox. The second plant was also having a hard time, it seemed to be going into deficiency, it showed signs of over when I tried to recover so I gave it a good clean to give the plant less stuff to manage and now it seems we're going straight up well. She's flowering with the others. --- Technique chosen as I mentioned one of the two plants was left to vegetate, topping on the main central line up to 8 buds now growing. However, unlike the main lining, I left two side branches which also have some nice branching and I applied a symmetrical and pleasant LST. --- Feeding Program - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the substrate chosen. Create your card and follow it, never be presumptuous my friend as I have been in the past, follow the card and look at the plants, not all need the same amount of fertilizer. This C4 auto was very fast to flower, and stretched up to produce some very pretty, berry smelling/tasting nugs! The buds didn't flower very dense, they formed as fox-tail shapes. Yield is on the low-end of acceptable, but good considering the bud structure! I'm growing another next run, to compare phenotypes!

Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

Week 8 summary - another busy first few days of LST and some light pruning. Continuing to spread her out as much as we can, trimming fans where needed to get as much light to as many growth tips as possible. It's been a process lately but it should pay off. Shout out to my man @TOTEM about the light distance comment👊. That totally explains the tight internodal spacing I have - next grow will be testing the stretch in veg. using light distance to control plant heights. #stonerobsessions! Thanks bro! Tried to get the best pics I could of the extreme bend in the main stem as per the video, The two lowest side branches are actually buried in the medium and we've been doing everything we can to keep the canopy even with the neighbour kush. Here's hoping @stinkfox has never seen an NL strain stretch as much as this 😉. If my man is right, we're gonna end up with a height issue but whatever 😎. At this point I've got two healthy plants that are primed to blow the F$&%K up! Now about the flip, I'm gonna run another week of veg. I think just for the hell of it. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft). With the coco medium we’re hoping for that 20% bump in yield as well. THANKS for check'n er out

Haile Selassie, my dear Brothers and Sisters Growers. Unfortunately, I come today with some not-so-happy news about my indoor cultivation.... For several reasons beyond my control - I had to dismantle my grow box along with all the equipment and I won't be able to use it for some time (frequent visits by housing management employees). The plants remain, but I can only provide them with room conditions now. During the day, the temperature ranges from 22 - 23°C, at night 17°C. The fan ensures air circulation. The worst situation seems to me to be with the light. 18/6 all the time, but the light is now provided only by two heating bulbs from EXO-Terra - one red light 100 W and the other white light 100 W. The plants have been in this situation for 4 days and I haven't noticed anything disturbing yet. They are all healthy. Bruce Banner and American Stafford develop their young flowers very nicely and there are many of them, especially since they are all after LST training and have ScrOg added. Apple Fritter is slow to bloom, but it is developing. Week 9 started today.

Week 3: Roots started getting bigger so I moved the plant to a bigger pot. Watered too frequently so algae began forming on the topsoil surface, note the black cover. Started LST early.

Remo Chemo is a dense and sturdy Indica-dominant plant that must be evenly pruned, low branches included. 🗓️ Week 17: 3/23 - 3/29 📆 Week 7 of 12/12 🌄 The plant is starting to go into senescence and presenting some beautiful colors as she begins to fade. 💡 Received new lighting courtesy of Growers Choice. They sent me the ROI-E420 with the Master Controller. First impression is amazing. Looks and feels like very high quality build. The spectrum seems more blue than the 3000k lm301H Kingbrite bars I have been using. The bars are thinner and packed with a lot of diodes, so they do run a little hotter than the KB at full power. I adjusted and now running them at 90%. For now the Kingbrite bars are being used as side lighting dimmed to about 30-35% depending on Grow room temps.

welcome to Day 15 1/1/20 she is growing very fast and healthy and the auto pot sys seems to be working properly. from here on out i should not need to water manually and can relax a bit feel free to drop a like or comment. as always happy growing and keep your stick on the ice
