Two weeks have passed since the flip. Plants haven’t started flowering yet, but they’ve already shown their sex. The height distribution turned out quite interesting, almost like it was planned. Weekly growth: #4 – 55 cm – getting pretty close to the light already #3 – 24 cm – perfect size for my box, exactly what I wanted #6 – 7 cm – solid progress compared to last week Overall everything is stable. I’m doing light defoliation, removing 2–3 leaves per day where they block light from growth tips. I’m not going for heavy defoliation — after reading and watching a lot, I’d rather keep the leaves. There’s also an opinion that around week 3 you shouldn’t remove too much anyway, and in general aggressive leaf stripping isn’t a great idea, partly because of mold risks. Why mold? Because external humidity isn’t as important as internal humidity inside the buds. The plant constantly releases moisture through transpiration all the way until harvest. If you remove most of the leaves, where does that moisture go? Exactly — into what’s left: buds and small inner leaves. That can create near 100% humidity inside dense flowers. You can drop RH in the room all you want, but inside the buds conditions for mold can still be ideal. Add a strong day/night temperature swing reaching the dew point, and it becomes a perfect environment for mold. So I’ll keep most of the leaves, just thinning enough to improve light penetration both from the top and bottom, without going overboard. Gradual defoliation also causes less stress compared to doing a heavy lollipop in one go. This isn’t a commercial farm with 1000 plants — we can afford to be precise and take off a few leaves every couple of days. Nothing more to report for now. Plants are still stretching — expecting the first “buttons” any day now.

Harvest & Trim Report — RollerCoaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Overview We’ve reached the end of the RollerCoaster Haze ride. After an intense and rewarding flowering period, the girls were harvested and processed with care. This is a full documentation of the final stage: harvest timing, drying method, trimming workflow, kief collection and pressing, and final yields. This harvest produced excellent results from two phenotypes — a true tribute to the genetics and the ecosystem we built around them. Final dry yields: • Pheno #3: 138 g (dry, trimmed bud) • Pheno #2: 224 g (dry, trimmed bud) Total dry bud: 362 g We also collected kief and pressed it into a beautiful resinous hash using heat and pressure; this sits alongside the cured flower and will be part of the upcoming smoke review. ⸻ Harvest Timing & Rationale The decision to harvest was made after careful observation of trichome and pistil development, the overall fade, aroma intensity, and the plants’ finish-line behaviour. The last weeks of the run had been dedicated to ripening: we completed the last balanced feed, then transitioned to plain water and a spectral end-season program (reduced whites/blues, elevated red/far-red/UV). These cues — combined with visible trichome development and the natural fade in the canopy — indicated the plants were ready to come down. ⸻ Cutting & Whole-Plant Drying • Each plant was cut whole and hung to dry intact. • Drying duration: two weeks (full-plant hang), at the environment you maintained (consistent conditions around your final stage set point). This allowed a controlled, gradual loss of moisture and preserved aromatic compounds and trichome integrity. • Drying environment was monitored and managed with the same attention as the grow: consistent airflow, humidity control and gentle circulation to avoid hotspots while preventing too rapid desiccation. (Notes: this section is a narrative of what i did. For clarity on local rules and safety, always follow local regulations and recommended practices.) ⸻ Trimming Workflow • After the two-week hang, the plants were moved to a dedicated trimming area and placed in the trim bin for processing. • Trimming method: primarily hand trim, using delicate, precise trimming tools and patience — “delicatessen and love” as i put it. The emphasis was on preserving trichome-rich surfaces while shaping each bud for appearance and even curing. • Hand trimming allowed you to selectively manicure the buds, remove the remaining larger fans, and leave the finished colas in a state ideal for curing and later consumption. The results were clean, visually appealing buds with intact resin heads. ⸻ Curing & Storage • Trimmed buds were carefully placed into Grove Bags for the finish of the cure. The Grove Bags are being used as the controlled environment for the slow biochemical processes that refine aroma, smoothness, and terpene expression. • The plan is to allow the flower to finish its cure under stable conditions until ready for the smoke review. This prolonged, stable cure should bring out the nuanced haze profile the genetics promise. ⸻ Kief Collection & Resin Press • While trimming, kief was collected from the trim and from screens. The kief was then pressed into a concentrated resin/hash using heat and pressure. • The result is a solid, aromatic hash — glossy and packed with the strain’s signature terpenes — a beautiful secondary product from the harvest and a perfect complement to the flower in the smoke review. ⸻ Sensory & Quality Notes • Aroma: intensely hazy — a dominant hay-sweet note with mature, layered complexity. The smell in the drying/trim room was strong and very characteristic of a classic haze. • Appearance: colors trending golden to warm yellow tones, heavy frosting of trichomes, dense calyxes and robust colas. The buds visually convey potency and quality. • Structure: each phenotype expressed the haze identity; long internodes on some branches, dense stacking on others — overall excellent structure that translated into heavy colas and great yields. ⸻ Recap: Seed → Harvest at a Glance • Germination: pillbox water method; seeds cracked and into soil within 48 hours. Gentle Aptus start mix supported early vigor. • Vegetative: bottom-watering to promote downward root growth; transplanted and vegged with controlled training and canopy management. • Flower: early flip to 11/13; progressive nutrition with Aptus + Plagron mix; inner canopy lighting (ICL300) to support middle/low bud development; spectrum tuning (red/far-red/UV) toward the end of flower. Final flush and plain water to finish. • Harvest: judged by trichome and pistil maturity, aroma, and overall plant condition. Whole-plant hang for two weeks, then hand-trimmed and cured in Grove Bags. So iam into my 2nd week flower. Iv had a few problems but got over them. They are all but 1 about 55". But have a beast in the corner she's 4and half foot tall and looking amazing. On wards n upwards.

*Week 4 Flower 09/24* Both Mimosa girls appear to be running fine with Mimosa (1) running a little behind but is catching up accordingly. Small oversight in early growth resulted in a minor stunt but she is improving dramatically. Water Feed has increased by half a gallon ( 1gallon clean - .5 gallon nute feed) *Week 4 Flower 09/28 - Mid week update* Both plants are flowering accordingly - Mimosa (1) is a bit taller then Mimosa (2) Buds are becoming dense and covered in trichomes. No deficiencies - No areas of concern - Potassium and Phosphate feeds continue *Week 5 Flower end of week recap - 09/30* Both Mimosa's are flowering nicely - Budsites covered in frosty trichomes. Mimosa (2) looks shorter but that is because her COLA was tied down to expose bottom budsites.

This is my 3rd week of flower after months of struggles, I was about to cut them off and abort the grow ... My plants were hit with yellowing tops and leaves were being burnt for no apparent cause. I installed a chiller, reduced EC, distanced the light and still ... Only to find out that calcium toxicity was the culprit .... It caused a potassium lock out that literally burned the leaves and stunted growth completely ... They looked like seedlings despite well crossing the vegetative stage ... Flushed my tank ... removed the calcium completely and the magic started ... This week I’m attaching this beautiful time lapse video of my girls coming back from the dead and filling out my tent space completely! :)

Into day 30 and I have some flowers starting. The girls look healthy and I am only using some LST and defoliation. Backed off the Foxfarm Big Bloom and I am now just using Ph balanced water between 6.3 and 6.5 Very pleased with their progress so far🌱🤙

Hello everyone ✊ 9th week has started, plant is doing very very well, I really like her shape and looks. She got first trichomes this week, some pistils also started getting brown, but I think she will need more time then 12 weeks to finish the life cycle. I'm happy to get some advices or feedback about this beauty. Keep you updated. Happy growing to you all 👽✊

Week 7 – Substrate Saturation & Major Recovery Flush This week was noticeably tougher than the previous ones. After showing strong development for several days, the plant suddenly slowed down and displayed clear signs of stress: halted growth, reduced leaf vigor, and poor nutrient absorption. A quick diagnosis revealed the cause: an excessively high EC in the substrate, leading to a severe root lockout. ⚠️ Despite the difficult situation, the corrective intervention was heavy, precise, and absolutely necessary. ⸻ 🌧️ Major Blockage – Excessive EC in the Root Zone The symptoms matched a classic salt buildup: • stalled vertical and lateral growth • leaves showing tension and mild droop • delayed response to watering • slightly uneven color The conclusion was straightforward: 👉 The root zone was overloaded with mineral salts, preventing the plant from taking up nutrients and even basic moisture. Without a fast and well-executed flush, things could have worsened quickly. ⸻ 💧 Intensive Flush — 18 Liters at pH 6.2 (No Nutrients) To restore balance, you performed a deep, controlled flush: • 18 liters of water • pH calibrated to 6.2 • no nutrients added This reset allowed you to: ✔️ remove a significant portion of the salt buildup ✔️ rehydrate and oxygenate the substrate ✔️ restore proper root metabolism ✔️ rebalance the soil’s pH The final readings after the flush were excellent: • Runoff PPM brought down to 900 • Substrate pH stabilized at 6.5 These values are completely safe and give the plant a clean base to recover from the lockout. ⸻ 🔄 Plant Response — Still Weak, but Improving Although the plant hasn’t fully bounced back yet: • leaf posture is slowly improving • color is becoming more uniform • the root zone is breathing again • growth should restart within the next 48–72 hours A slight delay after such a heavy flush is normal and expected. The priority now is letting the plant recover at its own pace. ⸻ Nutrients — Mandatory Pause After such a deep reset: • no nutrients were given • the substrate must stabilize before feeding resumes • the plant needs time to re-open nutrient pathways Overfeeding too early could recreate the same EC issue. Patience is key. ⸻ 🌬️ Environment & Structure Despite the setback: • the structure remains solid • the LST framework is still intact • environmental conditions stayed stable • no pests or diseases are present The problem was strictly chemical (EC-related), not environmental. ⸻ 🌸 Next Step — Wait for Clear Signs of Recovery Before training, shaping, or switching to 12/12: 👉 wait for visible new growth and fully opened leaves. Once you see fresh, healthy movement, you can gently reintroduce nutrients at reduced strength. Only then should you consider whether to extend veg or plan the flowering transition. ⸻ 🔥 Conclusion — A Difficult Week, But a Clean Save Week 7 brought a serious challenge: a heavy nutrient lockout caused by excessive EC. However, your response was fast, precise, and completely on point. The 18 L flush at pH 6.2 successfully: • cleared the excess salts • stabilized the substrate • restored a safe pH of 6.5 • brought the EC back to manageable levels The plant is now on the path to recovery, and the worst has been avoided. Next week should show clear progress.

Found out the water I was using had a ph of at least 7 instead of 6.5 like I had thought. I also had a cal mag deficiency from using LEDs and reverse osmosis water. Now I have a ph tester to prevent the first issue and cal mag for the second.

First day of my first Grow Diary, friend gave me these so I thought I would see what they got, 4 x washing machine and 2 x Jaffa Cake, I will be scrogging, topping and performing some LST to open them up. Transplanted cuttings straight into the 12lt pots, I used the white shark powder around the root area during transplant. Food Making Notes: 1. Canna A, Canna B, Startbooster 2. Measured E.C at 1.2 3. pH'd from 6.5 down to 5.8 4. Added White Shark (just a sprinkle) Feeding was done primarily around the root zone, after a few days I will begin to saturate the whole medium. Update (+3 days): - Washing Machine have really settled in and has had some great growth, I have started doing LST and topping at the 4th node, video and pictures added. - Jaffa Cake not doing so well at the moment, they seem to have transplant shock, I am taking it easy for the moment, spraying them with a Super Thrive foliar spray, within the next feed I am planning to reduce the E.C to 1.0 and add super thrive to the food, along side the start booster and great shark. Update (+6 days) - Washing machine growing really well, got two growing perfectly and two of growing three leaves and many branches. - Jaffa Cake is now recovering from it's transplant shock, made a dome for them to create a high humidity environment while rooting in the pot, dome was sprayed with a mix of water and super thrive, I also made up a different batch of food with 50% of the nutrients, E.C around 1.0 (500pm).

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

She was a pleasure to cut. Beautiful trim. So far pure berries and gas. I'll update on the smoke report once she's cured. I had a mini toke sesh earlier and it was definitely LSD. Definitely turning on some different visual/auditory receptors. It was nice and long and happy. She's only going to continue to get better. The buds are kind of fluffy but I find that all the purples I've grown turn out like that. The greens tend to produce much more weight/density. I'm not one to harp on density. I'm more about the flavor/effect.

Merlin Mintz Autoflower is doing good. She had got her first lst, and selective defoliation today. Her root tips were pruned. She is looking good, and ready to go. Blue Dream Auto is growing well. Temps are getting cooler with winter moving in. Hopefully I can keep the temp up so they all grow better. Time will tell of course. Everything is looking good. I did some lst and defoliation on her today. She should start her preflower in the near future.
