@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. This is day 21 from sprouting. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Hello everyone and thanks for checking out my grow! This week has been another great week with good growth. I did quite a bit of defoliation this week to uncover some of the sites that had been blocked from getting light. They have handled it really well and bouncing back in now time! My back left plant is starting to show some really pretty buds, I need to get get my camera figured out and get some better pictures because I feel sometimes my phone just does not do them justice. I can tell a big difference from my first grow and this grow at this point, just the difference in the buds and how I have trained and defoliated has been much better for sure. I know I still have a lot of experience to gain, but I really enjoy learning and thriving to produce the highest quality cannabis I am capable of. I learn a lot from a lot of you guys so thank you all for being awesome. I have still been keeping my EC relatively low, slowly increasing each week and also altering topping the res with mixed nutrients or RO water plus calmag. It seems to be working pretty well. My PH stays pretty stable although I did have to make one adjustment last week where it rose on me a little more than normal, but we have been staying in that 5.9-6.1 range else wise. My EC is also stable this week right around 1.0, will be going to around 1.1 Friday when I change my water and nutrients. Humidity has been staying pretty constant around 55, there was a few times it got up to low 60s because I fell asleep and didn't empty my dehumidifier in lung room, but was only a couple hours here and there so no biggie, no signs of any issues. They are really starting to pack on the trichomes as well though and when I first open the tents when the lights come on I am hit with a wonderfully sweet pungent smell! I am super excited to continue to watch these girls finish! Just going to keep sticking to the plan and monitoring these girls! See you guys in a week. WEEK 9 (DAY 64-70) This week, my plants have significantly increased in volume. The buds are abundant, firm, and smell very sweet. Thanks to mainlining, they've become small and compact, now consisting almost entirely of flowers. For the past few weeks, I've switched to 24-hour lighting to avoid climate fluctuations and speed up the flowering process. So far, this has proven very effective. The plants are growing at a high speed, and I think I'll be harvesting in two weeks at the latest. I've set my lights to 700 PPFD. While this gives me a rather high DLI (Daily Light Integral), the plants don't seem to mind so far. Due to the high temperatures and strong growth, I have to water at least every 24 hours. I'm currently alternating nutrients with Biobizz and Plagron Green Sensation. Last week, I defoliated the plants again to ensure good air circulation around the buds and to direct all energy towards flower production. Thanks to the high transpiration rates, I'm managing to keep the room's humidity just under 60%. It's not optimal, but I think it will work out.
