Hot and dry all week, boy the forest fires are bad in BC this year, knock on wood no major fires on Vancouver Island, no smoke either. Smooth sailing, stretch is slowing, budlets forming nice for sure week 2+ so looking like a Sept finish for sure. Quiet week as I was busy enjoying summer, nothing but drip 45min a day, 2.5hr once a week, diablo maxx, Silica and a weekly spray of LCPT. Had a MASSIVE mushroom at the base of the Hugel, which means the fungal network under there is for sure in overdrive. This time of year it's so hot and dry it's hard to keep the outside of the hugel most being a big hill, but obviously there's epic moisture deep inside it. Compost tea this week, looks great, super simple, 6cups compost, 4tbsp molasses, 4tbsp Epsom, 50ml kelp, little bit of coir, aerate 24hrs and use immediately. Probably toss on trellis net next week and zip tie her to the frame, next week another top dress, and then the final push! Most of the harvest will go to the freezer fresh, maybe wash, hang dry and cure an LB for flower rosin and edibles, then I'll make bubble hash when it cools down over Christmas.

They are really stretching this week. I’m having concerns over some of them not drinking and yellow leaf tips. Not sure what can be causing stress. Ah maybe cold floors as I remove the insulation Half way through this 3rd week of training they are looking good and thriving

This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week. There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now. As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed. I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2. 58 Days have passed in flower. Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. The "Just water no pH" experiment has failed me around week 5 of flower. I have not done anything to keep the soil biology alive so thats probably the issue. Its all good though, it was fun while it lasted and definitely worth a try. I have let the soil dry as much as possible and then i watered in a tablespoon molasses per gallon water. pH'd to 6.6. I just need atleast 3-7 more days of flower and hopefuly the buds will mature a little more. I took a snip of the bottom leafs to check for trichomes maturity, those are the weakest of trichomes on the plants. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

Very nice structure on them.. Already starting to produce resin on her fan leaves this girl has had a decent stretch this week and i removed alot of preflower stretched shoots from the bottom 2-6 branches on each clone.. Started adding pk boosters into top ups and keeping her ph under 5.8..😁👍 Huge amount of thanks to you all for your continuous support, comments, follows and likes.. Day 58, 11th of November 2020: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so she receives 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when she will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week.... I think whe will flower longer I have got that feeling. Nice strain growing properly. Good job Zamnesia.... Strech should end soon, however she did not strech that much due to training... Fertilization happens every 2nd day with the mix and ratio above. Let's go ;)

Another week has passed. An eventful week in our lives, but the plants came back on track. Some regular water and defoliating made them happy again. I see lots of similarities between the two strains. Where the XL Runtz ae a true XL and sees to adapt a little better to the conditions than the Forbidden Runtz. But the fight isn't over yet. We still have weeks to go and the forbidden Runtz might recover, my two cents is this: Fastbuds are just a little bit less heat resistant and temps went up last weeks with the SP -3000 on high. Also the XL Runz are closer to the intake of cooler air. So it would be fair to trade places what I do coming week. Thanks again, see you next week!

Frosty’s purple freak auto is on Week:4 of the vegetive stage producing its 6th-7th set of leaves as well as 4 side branches emerging the growth is quite fast

Not watered for 5 days, watered a little on last day week3 Growing well... But don't know if I should trim them?

I don't think I got as much weed as I did last time I grew this strain but still very happy with the outcome

She's growing, and repairing herself. Took 4-5 days to get back up after the topping. I usually like to do the transplanting n' topping ASAP. Started some defoliation, by removing the lowest grow. Everything seems OK. No heat problems or vent problems.. No nutriens used yet.

Growing: 5 weeks Flowering: 9 weeks This was my first grow indoor from some time ago. First time using the Mars Hydro SP250. Was amazed at the result, did not expect it. Encountered a few problems, including Calmag deficiency and some bugs. Did not gave them water for 30 days after plantation to the big bags of 25L. Harvested all plants at the same time, which might have been too early for a few ladies. Nevertheless I enjoyed getting to know the lamp and hoping I will do better next round. The lamp was in this round not at max capacity but at 226w, it came like that out of the box and I did not adjust it. Also did zero defoliation which resulted in a lot of "Albino Tops" under the net, which I recovered to make butter and bubble hash from. Most of the buds above the net where really dense and not fluffy at all. End result: 320gr total, around 4x 70gr average from the 2x BB OG, 1x A.M.S. and 1x Jack, the Purple Bud gave around 40grams.
