Ladies and gentlemen today's day 46 of flower, and as you can tell, she is maturing right along.. I would say, every bit of 90% has orange hairs with the trichomes are still CBG filled .. as you can tell, we have a couple weeks left to flush anyway so i'm hoping all these sparkly, little trichomes cloudy up with maybe 10% amber and then we bring out the axe .. God bless everybody and happy growing โœŒ๏ธ

Good week... she's grown a lot, is looking VERY strong - #1's stem is already pretty thick for such a young plant.... so I think I'm going to let her get a couple more nodes on her and then top and clone her... #2 is a little weaker so I think I might top her this week. I've put them both on an aggressive veg feed and they're both responding very nicely to it... such a difference from autoflowers! I find it fascinating..... so much so that I tend to rather ignore them... for example, I think I MAY have given them a drink of something only 4 or 5 times in their lives (they've just celebrated their 4th week from seed)... never any complaints, never saying "hey, fool - pay attention to me!" .... I glance at them once a day and move on.... Still trying to decide where in my yard they're going to be planted - but I've got at least 4 more weeks before I'll feel comfortable enough with the weather to go dig a hole for them... SHOULD also start some LST, I suppose.... going to be relying on LST a lot outdoors so I can hopefully avoid the bud rot that plagued me last year... Great fun! May 4 - I've decided I'm going to top #1 today and stick the top in Clonex, into a RootRiot and plunk it into a DWC bucket ... so while I'll have these two plants out in the yard waiting for an October harvest, I can flip the clone indoors for an earlier harvest to see if I like the strain at all.... Hmmm... maybe I'll do that to both of them and keep one in veg while I flip one of them... This is kind of cool - I'm learning about all the possibilities growing photoperiods gives you... just amazing! I'm like a kid in a candy store! LOL! I'll put up a video when I top and clone... but don't take it as gospel because this will be my first time and I don't REALLY know what the hell I'm doing... just having fun and experimenting! May 5 - Happy Cinco de Mayo! Didn't get around to topping and starting a clone yesterday... but I've just now posted up two videos - the first where I'm determining where to top - and the second, longer one, where I place the top I've just cut off into DWC to clone... or ATTEMPT to clone! LOL! God knows if this is going to work... if you've got any comments on what I've done, hints for a better way of doing things PLEASE comment below! I could use all the help I can get! Should I, for example, chop off the lower fan leaves of the top? Or are they needed for the top to survive? I can't help but think they're a pretty big drain on the poor thing... #1, which is the one I topped, is really showing me she needs to get outside in the yard... her roots are starting to peek through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot.... I THOUGHT a 2-gallon would be big enough to last at least a month and a half but..... I'm going to have to get serious about where to put these ladies!

Am concerned that I won't have room. If something has to go, it's the soil. Have a case of Fungus Gnats that I'll treat with Diatomaceous earth if I keep her. Just waiting for the last harvest in the flower room before moving these girls in. Blueberry Headband (2) and a Amhest Sour Diesel (1)from Humboldt Seeds. * Even though the ASD seedling is much different than the other ASD that I've grown, HSO says there's not a chance seeds got mixed, so I'm assuming that this pheno is more on the Amherst Super Skunk side of the lineage as was a seedling last grow. Love the pheno! Much different than the others. https://www.dinafem.org/en/blueberry-headband/ https://www.dinafem.org/en/amherst-sour-diesel/ Lighting https://www.horticulturelightinggroup.ca/products/260w-qb-v2-led-kit Soil Amendments for Blueberry Headband Soil https://www.gaiagreen.com/product-page/all-purpose-4-4-4 https://www.gaiagreen.com/product-page/glacial-rock-dust https://www.gaiagreen.com/product-page/mineralized-phosphate http://www.seasoil.com/ Worm castings Sunshine Mix #4 Epsom Salts Molasses SuperThrive https://superthrive.com/ Teas made from Gaia as well as in the soil and top dressing. This week was about pushing in to full flower. I am more than happy with the size, reaching a meter in length and in width. The side shoots caught up beautifully with the main cola and we have a lot of bud sites with great spacing.

Day 42. Sheโ€™s flowering and looking beautiful. I defoliated her so she could get more light penetration to the lower bud sites. Sheโ€™s drinking pretty consistently and eating heavy and she seems to be green and happy with life. Really excited to watch her book and see how big she will truly get.

Well had to harvest early. bud rot was making its way through the plant had already pulled 2 heads off covered didn't want any more being affected. So it's now chopped and drying will give more of an update after she's dryed n cured... Its been a good grow right up untill the end ventilation was lacking and temps hot. I've enjoyed it tho this plants tested some of my skills on diffieciencys and training really like the strain just abit more attention to environment nearing the buds getting very dense.

Ok, lets think about this logically - why are the leaves turning brown? it looks like a Calcium/Phosphorus issue, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS , is it a deficiency??? Unlikely in Hydro as the solution is more effective as there are no contaminants, so this leads me to believe its a lockout, what can cause this ? 2 things = A) Too Much Nutrient Potassium or B) ph is too low - SO to rectify this, i have added more water to the reservoir and raised the ph to 6.3 As i am using more water in the reservoir its entirely possible that when the water goes down, even though the EC stays the same the proportional concentrations of each nutrient can change - for example EC pen says 2.0 when i first fill with 20 litres, the plant drinks 4 litres of water and consumes lots of bloom A+B so when i put my pen in two days later the 16 litres of solution still reads 2.0 but there is a higher proportion of PK. Of course it could always be option C) these plants eat phosphorus for breakfast and need more ..๐Ÿ˜œ I have checked roots they all ok Wednesday- changed solution , made it slightly weaker EC 1.7 ph 6.2-3 Thursday I had a little chat on Instagram with mammoth , i think they might need less than usual Saturday - noticed some yellowing on the little plant , itโ€™s a confusing as th3 other plants are all using the same nutrients and they are loving life , it might be the buckets , I am much preferring the size of the 35 litre ones , and the root structure is perfect , because the 45 litre boxes are more rectangular than square the roots are sort of sideways . Still waiting for some purple on the tall one ๐Ÿค” ITS VERY IMPORTANT IN DWC - Do not automatically think you need to add nutrients , in DWC itโ€™s so much more efficient that less is more , 99% of the time itโ€™s overdone it , normally the tips go brown first , but itโ€™s some circumstance s The concentration can increase without you knowing , FIRST change solution with a little bit less , I usually go to 1.6-1.7 EC TOTAL and 6.3 ph that is a universal solution that provides enough without overdoing it . These guys seem to have some stunted growth from being in that shitty rock wool dish setup I had but they are making up for it now that they are in the air pots. I transplanted them into sunshine #4 because my other plants have had problems with N tox in coco loco, the only other soil mix I have...probably wonโ€™t ever be using fox farm soil again. Too expensive for what it is and itโ€™s a pain in the ass dealing with nute probs. Day 8: into the new grow tent tomorrow

Wanted to try an outdoor greenhouse shared bed style in my basement, it worked but not better than any other method Iโ€™ve tried and itโ€™s a bit of upkeep and watering to water that much medium evenly. Washing Machine finished fat with beautiful purple/silver and dark geeen flowers.

-Went out of town for a couple days so I premixed my nutes and showed the girlfriend how to feed the girls. Thank the lord shes on board with my grow lol. This was their last feeding and from now until the end they will only be getting PH'd water. The end is near! -After 24hrs of darkness and cold midget plant still didn't flower, I doubt its a photo because I'm growing photo WWs from cropking and they do not look similar at all. Might switch to 12/12 once these girls are done. -Started flush on day 68

Noticed some wind burn ๐Ÿƒ ๐Ÿ”ฅ on the plant/leaves closest to the fan. Moved it and accidentally hurt the plant again. SCROG-adjustments-woes! UGGGH! Lesson learned... Once scrogged... Tough to readjust! Be extra careful. The red hairs ๐ŸŒน are showing up with some already leaning and wilting down. Really excited for them to fruit! ๐Ÿ“ I am definitely growing at least two phenotypes of TD. One that is meant to be very tall and w very thinned out long leaves -- heavily sativa. And one that is the "more common" pheno. I now understand what this whole pheno-hunting term means. NOOB GROWER THOUGHTS, WEEK 8 -- This grow isn't even done and I am already thinking of my next. I've definitely bought too many seeds. And my grow space is waaay too limited. I will expand once I move to a new place.. and already have a plan for an eternal harvest. More tents ๐ŸŽช, more seeds ๐ŸŒฑ, more everything ... It's official, folks... I'm addicted to growing! And I love it!!! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Cherry A causing me all sorts of issues. She's falling on top of Cherry B. And in turn, Cherry B is hitting into my other plants (Grandpa Stash). Also noticed what looks like pollen sacs on day 78.

Looks absolutely awesome. This is my first photoperiod and you can really tell the difference in density and overall quality. She did 35g dry. So I achieved less than 1โ‚ฌ/g cost per gram for the frist time! The biggest factor obviously beeing the shorter light cycle compared to the autoflowers I usually run. To save cost it might be smart to give the autos 12/12 as well. I will stick to 18/6 tho. Total Runtime: 82 days -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Set up cost (fixed costs) -Lamp: 40โ‚ฌ -Timer: 3,5โ‚ฌ -Pot: 4โ‚ฌ -Total fixed costs: 47,5โ‚ฌ Given 5 years (or 15 grows) usage time translates to around 3,17โ‚ฌ per grow in materials. Variable costs: -Seed: free (gift) -Soil: 6โ‚ฌ -Fertilizer: 3,50โ‚ฌ -Power: 15,21โ‚ฌ -Total variable costs: 24,71โ‚ฌ -Total costs per grow: 27,88โ‚ฌ -Cost per gram: 0,80โ‚ฌ/g
