~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/23- Week three from seed and the second week of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and she's doing surprisingly well considering the crappy weather, and being eaten like a salad by slugs and a rabbit! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her seems to have lessened the attacks on her leaves. I've also been spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap that I'm sure has helped as well. I watered the Papaya Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches a bit as well. 5/27- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet continues to do exceptionally well with great color and vigor, putting out new growth it seems daily. 5/29- There's three weeks on the books for this little lady and I'm looking forward to see what she'll look like in the coming weeks! I will have to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days. I haven't added any dry amendments to her since I initially amended her soil and she's a hungry girl... This plant shot up out of no where and is definitely gonna keep getting taller. I dont think ill do any training on this plant since it seems kinda short want it to get really stocky. The smell is already appearing which is way cool at 4 weeks i think thats impressive. Probably has to do with the sweet candy nutrients.anyway happy with the progress hopefully things stay great

Enjoyed this run. Ready to harvest in about 1 and a half weeks, I actually have seeds in a couple of the plants. It happens, this is my first indoor grow so, need to get my hand on some new genetics

The Mandarin Squeeze sisters are growing good. The grow room appears to be pest free now. I had neem oil treated the plants twice. I then treated the grow space with ortho home defense. I did not get it on the plants. It appears to have work. Grow diaries is really messed up still, and Is altering my information input on numbers. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Watermelon auto is growing great under the Medic Grow mini Sun-2, in the Gen 1:11 organo mineral nutrition. She has started to shoot her pre flower pistils. She is starting to stretch. Every thing is looking really good at the moment. 2024-08-31 They may have stopped to stretch, iam not sure, but i think so, you can see how the buds are forming, and they are already purple, thats fun leaves are changing color thats the tribute to the last 2 days where it was very hot and sunny, and tehy needed lots drinks and the big growth costed some leaves too. but anyways, not a Problem at all the Girl in the garden has more yellow leaves. BREEDER INFORMATION The cross of Frisian Dew with DucksFoot created Frisian Duck. It has such name due its characteristic leaf shape that looks like a duck's traces. The plant has a good growth in greenhouses and outdoors and also indoors. The strain is easy to grow and suit for begginers. It is harvested at the start of October outdoor and after 8 weeks of flowering indoor. The plant reaches 1.5 m indoor or 2.5 m in height outdoor. It demonstrates purple colors during a blooming and looks like a christmas tree. Frisian Duck develops compact buds. The strain has spicy aromas and tastes of pine, citrus and fresh wood.

Oct.29 - We transplanted the girls into soil since they are moving into vegetation phase Nov.4 - Watered each plant 250mL, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each girl

U kno the vibes well u see the vibes lol.....extra light is going to be my best friend soon... #1 she is growing good being that she is in normal condition(is long day after all) 2 of her branches started putting on size like they want to be main stem. Trained those to promote upward grow for the lower nods and did lollipop'n. #2 grow has been amazing all branches are roughly the same lenght did lollipop'n and add some manure will do some more training in the week to come

They are growing healthy. They all recovered from the issues, but they are all small.. They are drinking a lot lately, I've been struggling to keep the temperature below 27/28°. The only plant who didn't had any agressive movimentation, handling, whatever, has 90 cm, huge.

About 3 weeks left ... This will be the last week they receive nutrients. Doing very well , got some fat buds already and they smell amazing.

Good news: managed to transplant a tree out the ground into a neutral space. Took 5 days to bounce back. Tallest plant is growing with no stress Bad news: male plant found. My 2nd tallest and favorite plant looks to be male and will be cutting it

A nice Harvest From a nice plant , she had some nutrients problems but she din't care . Gave me a nice 40 Grams yield I'm just realy satisfied nice's looking and smelling plant i ever had!
