What up Fam, I apologize for the late update. Been away for 2 weeks from the ladies and my son who was watching them did amazing, as I came back to an absolute forest. The plants almost tipped in size which is crazy the growth they had while I was gone. I started adding bloom nutes and did a defoliation and lollipop this week. I'd normally start my training around week 3 but over all they're happy and healthy as can be. Let's Go Happy Growing.

Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. This time we are faced with an absolute novelty from Zamnesia, a plant from the latest generation of an immense series that Zamnesia is bringing out, ready to try them all. Here we have excellent parents, the primette result is great, let's also try the Karen Kush. I was amazed by the perfect branding for this strain and so let it be Karen. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Day 74 (28/05/18) - 2 of the Girl scout cookies are looking very close to being finished and seeing all cloudy trichomes with a couple amber. I look for 80/20% ratio of cloudy/milky to amber trichomes for harvest as this gives the best medicinal effects from my experiences. Flushing the GSC and will be waiting for her to use up the remainder of her nutrients in the leaves before I chop, hopefully get a nice fade. One of the Stardawg girls isn't so far behind but being more sativa dominant, I expected that. May upload one picture of her and how she is getting on. The smell coming from the GSC is so potent and sweet. Hoping the smoke quality lives up to the smell. Not long to go now.

It was a week with a lot of activity. First of all, she had her first full week of flowering and did a bit of a stretch. Also I switched her to the left side of the tent, to space the plants more evenly. We are getting to a canopy, although one of her roommates probably is male and will be removed. More about this when I update my Xtrakushh Diary. Also had time to fit the scrognet. It fits way better than last grow, much tighter. We had some problems with the lighting. I probably hit my timer with one of my sausage fingers, making my lights turn on in the middle of the night, thank god I found it out in time. They maybe had an hour or two of light for one night. Still something she really doesn't need with this strains tendency to hermie under stress. She still looks happy. Did some gentle leaf tucking, some LST under the net, and a little defoliation. The branches might be short but they are very sturdy and should be able to carry large and heavy buds. And we had won the @Sweet_Seeds Halloween give-away and got to choose three of their legendary strains: Tropicanna Poison, Red Hot Cookies and Runtz XXL auto!! Thanks guys!!! Ever since I turned to mars hydro I have double sometimes nearly quadrupled my yields I first had with eBay lights (meh) I have never looked back since and gained so much respect from the community and the breeders too! These are about a month old. I've no idea what they are as there from a long time ago and were mixed with a few varieties of autos and photoperiod. Hopefully they work out and are not Spanish sativa as that just gives me a headache after more than 0.25g in a day?? Anyone else ever have that? Powerplant does the same if I use more than 0.50g in a day. The only two strains that have that effect on me!

Final week: dried for 10 days at 24 °C / 60 % RH — slow, even dry, stems snapped clean. Followed by 9 days of curing. Smoke is already smooth.

I have had a very nice journey growing her, she has given a great quality and quantity pf buds, very hard dense flowrs with a clasic strong amnesia smell that I enjoy a lot specially for the happy energetic buzz that provides you.

The clips are working great 👍. Even canopy. Verry green. Still not cutting any leaves. Going into flower now so i slowly introduced Bud neutreants while decreasing vege neuts. Still not as tall as I wanted. Hopefully it'll stretch a lot.

If anyone can help with the purple on the stems it would be greatly appreciated!

I finally installed my net, I love how easy it becomes to bend or acommodate branches. it makes harder the watering part but is justifiable. this will be the second week of flowering and all is looking great Happy grows
