The smells are becoming very strong in my house and truthfully I am still pretty pleased with trichome production although I definitely can tell the wish i had calmag 3 weeks earlier but better late then never about 3 weeks from harvest can't wait for this one been long road but a rewarding one.

Last week of veg given them a little sugar boost and hit of hygrozyme in every watering this week be getting small dose of monster bloom on last watering before soil is flushed through and allowed 48 hours to dry , will update photos and anything else I've forgotten in next day or so nearly caught up with diary entries

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. She’s growing really well. We had two extremely hot days at 30°C, which caused some leaf curling, but overall the plant handled it just fine. The heat didn’t stress her much, thanks to the two CO₂ grow bags I have in place to help manage intense light and higher temperatures.

The autumn ist getting visible. The Glookies is changing colors. The Lemon Og Candy getting yellow a bit. But seems good so far. Watered around 10l for the Lemon and around 4l for the Glookies this week.

Got my seed on Friday 22nd last week soaked and germinated in two days I placed in soil 24th first leaves on the 26th and today is the 28th haven't used any nutrients not sure if I will but I made some organic bat poo tea and I'll be feeding her with this .....

Shes putting on some serious weight The smell is insane its one of my favorites Very candy like, almost rainbow candy not a single whif of earthyness or lemons just pure candy I water her now twice ever 12 hours because of the 25celcius now, and soon 33. The EC goes up a lot in summer always, so more waterings or even just pure rainwater to drop it lower

9/29/2022 - 49 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The third week of flowering of my Orange Sherbet 🍨🍨🍨 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Bud Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle Indabox Environ X Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud remains unchanged I no longer serve Bud Ignitor ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Plants tolerate nutrients well, sometimes a small spot appears on the leaves, but this is not a nutrient burn Training: LST - Just a little training, I tied some twigs to the edge of the flower pot with string so that they don't shine on each other 🌞🌞 Defoliation: I mainly remove large leaves so they don't shade the flowers and I also cut off the lower leaves. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. July 23: A great week of warm sunny weather with enough rain to prevent the garden from becoming too dry. Flowers are stacking... a bit leafy but dense. Smell is coming on strong and resin developing complexity of different fragrances. CBD Crack resin smells amazing sweet, like bubblegum and roses. Small plant but amazing fragrance.
