D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------

So week 8 has gone by like the others nice and easy although I cant help but think that she is well behind where she should be, on the packet it says 11 weeks to harvest but I cant see her packing on enough bud in 3 weeks to be ready for the chop... im in no rush to chop her down but cant help feel a bit anxious that I have gone wrong somewhere... SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on the furthest along. TUESDAY: I observed some white spots on a few leaves here and there throughout the garden, so I sprayed them today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think they'll be fine. I'll spray them again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because several plants are already in the harvest window.

The plant has been cruising with no issues and right now there is not too much to report about her except that she is loving the Canadian weather and it is thriving very well in the outdoors just need to see how she will finish if she finished before October or around October. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Gel AUTO WAS FASTER BUT WITH POOR COLLECTIONS TWO WAYS TO BEND YOU DIFFERENT GEL AND OG 1 BENDS IN THE THIRD WEEK OG 2 FOLDED TO THE FOURTH WEEK ... THIS FACT Yes THAT THE BRANCHING WAS ALREADY MORE COMPACT FOR OG2, ADAPTED TO THE LIGHT AND WITH GREATER RESULTS ... GOOD !! MY PURPOSE HAS BEEN THAT OF COMING IN CONFIDENCE WITH THEIR STRUCTURE AND UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS RIGHT OR WRONG FOR THEM WITH THE HOPE OF PULLING A FUCKING KILO OUT OF MY BOX I HOMAGE THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANT BRINGING IT THERE WHERE IT WAS BORN AND GROW FOR CENTURIES .. Day 43 and things are progressing well but I still have some time to make up if I'm going to stick to this year's planning and need to get this run done asap, I pulled the girls out and gave them a eco neem shower for preventative measures and I will flip them to flower by days end, hopefully they show no signs of nutrient deficiency I've encountered during flower while using up the old mega crop formula, I'm guessing it's a mag deficiency as Epsom salts seem to keep it in check. Any advice on this would be great. Stay safe and happy growing.

I've had to make a few changes this week in order to maximize my environment. At this point in flower the goal is to raise pH of my water and lower temperatures inside my tent.... high temps can help burn off terpene profiles. Overall she has been looking pretty light and I've decided to feed her with Advanced Nutrients pH perfect bloom. Planting in a 3 gal bucket just doesn't cut it if your planning on growing in super soil/ organic soil. Since I've fed with AN, I've also increased the CaMg dose.. she really enjoyed the nutes. I will probably feed once or twice more depending on how long she wants to grow. I'm anticipating 90+ days to harvest at this point. Compared to the runtz, Blackberry and cheese auto, the trichome production started pretty slow with the mimosa cake. It's starting to stack on now and the smell has intensified 10 fold in the last week. Process/ Environment changes: - Turned back down my exhaust fan.. it was turned up way too high and my carbon filter couldn't keep up with amount of air bieng pushed thru it... the smell in/outside my house was unbearable... - I Harvested my cheese auto (see videos), so I turned down one of my TS1000 lights, which decreased the temperatures inside my tent. - Like I mentioned earlier, I fed with AN bloom nutes to help keep her healthy. - I've been taking off more fan leaves and bottom larf, bit by bit every day I'm on auto pilot at this point. I included photos of my outdoor grow space.. I plan know replicating this grow outdoors this summer. I also bought a rosin press, and I plan on smashing nugs for days when all these plants are ready ☮️

🌱 Week 5, Day 1 – Veg Update 🌱 Hey everyone! We’re officially on Week 5, Day 1 of the veg cycle, and everything is looking fantastic so far! The plants are healthy, vibrant, and showing some solid growth, which has me excited to flip them into flower soon—maybe at the start of Week 6, but I’m taking it day by day. That said, I have noticed a bit of nutrient burn creeping in, which is a little strange considering the PPMS are sitting at just 450 ppm. The PPFD output is also where it should be, so I’m thinking it could be a minor fluctuation in nutrient uptake or possibly slight environmental factors playing a role. To be cautious, I’ve dialed back the feeding a bit to see if that helps. I'll give it a couple of days and keep a close eye on them. The goal is to give them a solid week of recovery before we hit the next big step. Once we hit that one-week mark, it’s time for a deep, heavy lollipop and some defoliation to really clear out the lower growth, ensuring all energy is focused on the top colas. After that, we’ll flip them into flower and get that SCROG net in place. Things are about to get real! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to flowering! 🌸

Finally starting to see signs of flowering. I am gonna add a red light and a 2nd scrog net and I should get it next week. I ordered it for the blooming gonna see if it makes a difference. To decide if I want for future grows..

Was pumping those buds for the last 2 weeks big time chopped now and hanging to dry

The lemon pie has sum stuff going on not sure if I under-watered her a little bit I did wait 4 days to water that one but I thought the soil was still good until I picked it up and it was light as a feather so I gave a cup of Ayer maybe a littler more and had I slight VPD problem I think it was 84 with like 50% humidity I added a second fan today it bounced up to 65% at 82 degrees! Please help am I over thinking or is this something bigger
