The best plant I have grown so far. 64 grams for 3.7 liters (1 gallon). Drying for 8 days. Dead at 92 days of life, practically the rhythm of an automatic with powerful results. Flush in the last week, very light. Two separate times 4 days before harvest.

Started to feed gradually (that was wrong, should start to feed at least 3ml/l of base) from 1ml/l to 4ml/l at the end of the week 3. Runoff EC was very low (0.4EC) and pH too high (6.7) Adding more nuts solve this, now it is more stable (EC 0.8 pH 6.2). Still using CalMag foliar but got some burns, applied it too early (20 min before lights off) Anyway the growth is vigorous.

I'm very happy with how my plants turned out and can't wait to get going again. They're now hanging in my tent so hopefully dried and ready to trim by Christmas day at the latest. I will update on weight when dried and on the smoke when cured.

Once again, this week starts where the former one ended. With the exception of all the cables you can see in the first picture. I dared to install a minimalized version of the Raspi control only controlling the self-built humidifier and one blower/fan combination. I was very pleased to see how easily the simple diffusor can hold optimum VPD as long as temperatures are high and humidity tends to fall below optimum VPD. A single 10 seconds evaporation can hold the level for about 2–3 minutes. I am not pleased to see the Monsanto blowers rather underperform. It’s impossible to reduce humidity or temperature with both running on full speed, while a lifting of the tent door will bring immediate changes. With the Raspi/Arduino success so far*, I am thinking about using old Power Mac fans which are WCM controllable and use 12 V. At least one to increase air intake, and maybe even the blowers. * It wasn’t any problem at all to have the Arduino collect CO2 and soil moisture data, so after some more cable manufacturing (aka helpless soldering), I could extend the Raspi control. I’m still uncertain about the camera module (@trelorny impressed me with his time lapse videos). I don’t want to put the hardware into the tent with its not so electronics friendly climate, already risking some rare outages of the temp/hum sensor. But the camera module cannot be placed far away. So maybe I’ll use the 3A model I own as a spare part as a camera driver. Any maybe, if it works, invest in a better camera module. Mine is generation 1. Oh, and the ladies! Gave them slightly fertilised water yesterday, and even it or the better VPD yesterday or a combination of both make me believe bud growth is a bit more visible today. The smell in the morning when I open the tent to release accumulated humidity is outstanding. They were already thirsty on day 57 again, so pure RO + a bit of tap water until it spilled out of their pot’s bottoms. Many fan leaves turning autumnally now, and the smallest Sherbet suffered a bit from over-fertilisation as I wrote. But it this stage I don’t go for leaf beauty anymore. Just another learning: Don’t use differently sized pots anymore. Hard to feed them individually this way. VPD was mostly in best range yesterday, and I have the feeling it really supports their bud growth. I added an "Evening time" option to my Raspi control that allows the humidity to sink a selected time before lights shut down. That made it possible to have humidity in best range for most of the night time too. They were even dry again on day 58 morning. Another time just water. The blowers cannot cope with the flowers’ smell anymore, and so sometimes my flat cannot hide who shares it with me. Day 60 presents me with a problem: I’ll leave on Friday for a few days. Considering the microscope pictures are not from the tops buds: Would you say it’s safe to give them another week? Problem solved on day 61. Only clean water from now on, and next week will be their last. You won’t see any new pictures for some days now. Me too … Something I wanted to share with you before I leave: I just finished to update my grow box control with a new PWM fan hat that keeps the Raspi cool, while at the same an infrared sensor can now measure real leaf and additional ambient temperature. Setup is much cleaner and more robust now, but I wish my flux would not make the solder stick to the tip of the machine instead of making it flow and stick at the tiny tiny spots I have to hit …

Die Gorilla Sherbet ist jetzt in der 4BW angekommen und hat sich im Gegensatz zu anderen, sehr kompakt und klein geblieben, dazu baut die Pflanzen nach jeden beschneiden mehr blattwerk auf und gleichzeitig auch die Blüten Produktion und die viel Zahl von Trichomen kann man nicht übersehen, Sie riecht etwas erdiger mit einem Zitrus Geruch im Hintergrund, sobald man aber etwas an die zuckerblätter dran geht und an seinen Finger riecht… ist der Geruch unglaublich und erinnert an ein Süßigkeitenladen! ..das wird eine richtiger kugel Blitz…

He who stops is lost, as an old saying goes I don't know exactly what the origins are, so here's a new Zamnesia season. We are in the middle of winter and despite growing in an area that isn't the warmest in Europe, it's really cold now. It's 16-18 degrees Celsius in the house and we need to bring the temperature of the propagator growbox between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Jet Fuel stat very very good, we have to say no problem, seed oper 24 h in water then 24 h in soil and sprout. Super love this strain, the genetic line is amazing. Here we have Diesel Family so mostly sativa and Gas taste more sativa. WARNING: Placenta Problems ---- ALWAYS look very carefully at the seedlings, if the seed or the placenta prevent the opening of the cotyledon leaves the plant dies after a while. Remove it delicately as if it were a condom or almost. I apologize for the example but it gives the idea, remove slowly and delicately please. WARNING: If you choose biodegradable pots, choose the largest possible ones and not paper/cardboard ones, there is peat which is the main component of most of the soils we use. If you want to avoid transmitting vibrations to the neighbors I recommend you install one of these gym floors under your growboxes, I did it and I also feel safer not to disturb. They are easily found on Amazon in different thicknesses, I took a gym model that is assembled like a puzzle, they are also found in children's shops, they are those floors that are assembled to make children play safely, or to train and to avoid vibrations of the equipment or of any kind. Week 10 for Moby dick by fastbuds, She's finally starting to bulk up a little her flowers, but she's extremely leafy likely going to defoliate her again a bit because little worried about her main cola getting bud rot but no signs of that for now. But the weather definitely isn't helping that worry😂 I've also stopped praying her down in the mornings because of the high humidity i don't want to run into any issues. She's going to be a long living auto for sure... 14 weeks+ i reckon but maybe that will translate well to the final scale weight 😁 She was fed once this week with some FPJ, Regulator, Enzym+ & Topbooster by @aptus_portugal just to give it an extra boost!

Set up an evaporative cooler to act as an intake and to cool the temp through evaporation. It I was able to get the average temperature down to an average of 77°. Relative Humidity increased to an average of 55%. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Evaporative Cooler: The evaporative cooler was way bigger than I thought and blowing all the air into the tent would be overkill and would throw off my ventilation given that I only have a 4inch exhaust fan blowing air out. So I had to rig an air duct onto the front to channel some, but not all, of the air coming from the evaporative cooler. I cut a hole in a plastic brownie box and zip tied right angle plate that I had leftover from an ikea furniture. Then I put velcro tape to easily attach and remove the air duct from the cooler for future maintentance and cleaning. I left the room where my tent is closed one day and the humidity went up to 84% which also increased the temperature to 90° but I found that simply leaving the room door open gives the cooler enough air circulation in order to function properly and averaged out at 55% RH and 77° F. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Defoliated some ugly fan leaves that were shading a lot of lower buds.

Great harvest! Ended up a little shy of 12 ounces from the two plants, all super dense sticky top buds!! It’s smooth, flavorful and strong! Love it!

First week of germination went to plan, this lovely little lady is springing to life, transplanted into a nice 20L pot and I'm in love haha 😄, going to be adding another sf2000 into the tent aswell, just think for a 1mx1m tent this amount of light will be sufficient for the whole grow space, thanks for reading and hope to see you all on the next week update 😀 peace ✌️ and stay green 💚

Die Pflanze hat sich diese Woche, wie erwartet, nur noch um 6 cm gestreckt. Was mich freut, nach oben ist noch genug Platz, dass macht es deutlich einfacher. Die Blütenstände haben sich schön entwickelt. Die Nodien Abstände passen. Generell hat die Pflanze ordentlich Blattmasse und das Zelt gut ausgefüllt. Zum Ender der Woche hat die Pflanze ein Lolli Popping bekommen. Ich habe ordentlich was an Blättern und Trieben rausgenommen. Die Triebe die an die Zeltwand gewachsen sind habe ich rausgenommen, sowie alles was unterentwickelt war oder nicht ans Licht gekommen ist. Das Scrog Netz habe ich etwas höher gezogen und die 6 Haupttriebe weiter nach Außen gefächert und mit Draht am Netz befestigt. Jetzt kann die Luft ordentlich zirkulieren und es kommt auch nach unten Licht.
