Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of water to be fed. Day 1 we have high temperature of 91°F with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-3 gallons from the hose. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 90°F with clear, sunny skies. I watered 2-3 gallons from the hose. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 97°F with mostly sunny skies. It was a scorcher. I watered 2-3 gallons twice today from the hose. Day 4 we had high temperature of 95°, but it felt like 102°. Skies were partly cloudy. I watered 2-3 gallons twice today. Day 5 we had rain the previous night and early morning. We had cloudy skies, with high temperature of 81°F. I did not water today. I added 50ml blood meal to each pot spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 87°F and mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-3 gallons. Day 7 we had partly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 86°F. I watered 2-3 gallons each pot This week was a success. These girls really began to fill out. We've got another month ish til flower begins so I expect these to be monsters.

01/19/2022 Stretch is starting, watering till 5-10% Runoff. I will be giving some molasses 2 tbls to 2 gallons water to feed the microbial life in my soil. This should help nutrient uptake from roots, feeding her flowers with microbial chelated nutrients. Changing to 12-12 tomorrow at lights on. Which will continue through flowering week 8, week 9- harvest will go to 11-13 for the fantastic finish! Getting rid of the dark green male he is not adjusting to drought (lack of water) as well as lighter green male. Lighter green can go twice as long without water with no sign at wilting

Sorry I havnt updated this diary in a couple weeks. I recently had a son and have been so busy. Anyways, this girl has really taken off. When I open my grow room it makes my whole house stink. Right now it's a very sweet skunky scent. She has filled out greatly and for a cbd strain I'm very excited about her resin production. Lately she has been getting a lot of water, slf100, em1, urb, fpj and a little bit of herculean harvest to supplement phosphorus. FEEDING As previous weeks, plant was given nutrient solution twice a day in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L -    Calcium solution-->1 mL/L I started with 5L of tap water measured at 240ppm. Then added Calcium solution from gardening store and ppm were around 500. Then Flora series nutrients were mixed in and ppm reading was around 1000. This is to high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 800ppm and ended up with 7.5 L of nutrient solution. Plant was given a total of 12 L of nutrient solution every day. DIARY Day 105 I did some defoliation on the lower branches...nothing too serious, just the leaves that were in contact with the soil. WEATHER REPORT Day 99-100 It was mostly raining these two days. On day 99 we had some hail to, so the plant had to be moved under the roof. Day temperatures were 25 °C, night temperatures were 18 °C Day 101-105 Weather was sunny all the time. There was some raining going on during one night. Day temperatures were 35 °C, night temperatures were 23 °C.

The ladies are doing well. Cant complain really but the hard work is yet to come. The different strains are getting bushy and the Blue Gelato #2 has the biggest canopy thus far. They all have been transplanted into 3gall pots. No strong smell even from stem rubbing but the orange Sherbet has a distinctive smell that's so citrusy. feeding has gone well this week. I may run into a pending issue when i bring out the 4x4 tent as I have been using a 2x2 for most of the veg period.Lets see what challenges week 8 brings to this run. The Vanilla Kush is taking training so well. So short and stumpy.

So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Green Poison Fast F1 from Sweet Seeds Harvested in 2020 - Return of the Clones! This grow was from clones from first grow. Had to re-cut a 4th clone, and it was 16 days behind the rest. While it is pictured on the way, the 4th laggard is not included in the harvest week. Some other pictures of clones were related to regenerating the mother plants that had grotten rootbound. It was a perpetual garden back then.

She is doing great. Starting to put on her bulk. Today I have her a tea that I brewed for 24 hours. It consisted of be-1 pellets, be-2 humics, worm castings and grokashi. She has been praying to the light and loving life.

8/23 shes smelling so much like blueberries💚 im super concerned with the amount of leaves my plants are cannibalizing/ losing. They've been turning yellow and then eventually golden brownish crisp and fall off. The leaves that are falling off, only seem to be fan leaves and all the leaves around the pistils/main parts of branches/plant, all seem to be intact and very healthy still. I hope she's able to stay healthy till the finish of the grow. First outdoor grow. Learning experience 💚🤘I should have added some fish meal in the middle of July so she had some nitrogen for the beginning of flowering. I'm concerned the leaves lost is due to nitrogen deficiency. But I'm 3 weeks into flower and dont want to confuse her with more nitrogen than I have been giving 8/24 fed some more open sesame. 8/28 thinking my plants have been having a ph lock out causing magnesium deficiency

10/5 7am 10/6 10:53AM THEY ALL SPROUTED ALREADY!!!! 10/9 2:13 AM I decided to add a fluorescent light to get a broader spectrum for vegging. These grow lights are powerful and they’re great but they don’t cover a lot of like for what I need so this should open up my spectrum quite a bit and get the correct like that. I need. I’ll be watching them carefully. Everyone is just beautiful.😻 Y the ou are talking about Anthocyanins—the pigment compounds that give flowers those deep purple, red, and blue colors. You aren't just growing; you are actively hacking the plant's secondary metabolite pathways. Soaked 7.27 for 36ishhrs, into paper towel for 12 hrs then into a solo cup with greentree garden supply pro ultra (coco/perlite). No plan on veg time I dont know when I'll have an open tent for flower but it could be a very quick veg kinda pheno hunt deal. First feed was a diluted leftover feed from my auto youngins. Basically about 1 ml/g of grow, 7ml/g humid acid, 1ml/g more roots, 1ml/g orca, cannazyme, hydroguard and a sprinkle of living organics in the nutes and on the top of the coco. Usually the ppm will be higher than I want it so I just dilute with r/o water until I'm down to 200-250. It makes it so I cant be accurate on ratios so that's why I'm tellin ya, but it's how I always do it no matter what nutes I use.
