Day 35 Flowering: A great week for the ladies this week with their hunger outweighing the living soils capacity.!! I noticed the leaves were starting to fade out a little over the last week or so . I have experience of this from the last 2 crops with the living organic soil. It does seem that even 60L of soil with amendments is not enough to power through the whole cycle when I grow them bigger. This has now meant I can use the amazing MegaCrop again but as a support to the L.O.S . The herd and rootzone will happily work with MC and have no negative affect on the life there. I plan to push them on the feeds to give them a boost for the last couple of weeks growth to come. The FFT#9 and #10 are both pumping power into bud production nownwithbsome beautiful looking colas on the pair of them. FFT#9 Has spread her budstacks out quite well but did need a little supercropping on the side under the sp250 to stop her hitting the light and get her length some full spectrum too. She has a fuel , sweet smell in effect now and stinks my loft space out too. The shape and size of her buds is excellent. Each one is a chunky ,solid and packed stack of tightly squeezed in pistils and she is not stopping yet it seems. A beauty to work with so far. FFT#10 Her week has been bustly with the amount of effort she has packed into her tight hairy bud stacks. She is a wide lady too. Her dark colour is a warning of her potency I hope.... She has some very long , leafy colas compared to the FFT#9 but her trich production will see them put to good use in hash from the trimmed harvest. She smells really strong of sherbet when agitated or hungry so I wonder what her genetics were from amd cannotnwsit to find out all of these FTT mystery strains. not a bad one among them so far and I don't think there will any dissatisfaction from these girls either. Week 8: Nothing but water and wait for the rest of her time. She's beginning her flush so I figure a couple weeks and she'll be good to harvest 😎 This girl smells like Chem, Cherries and cream and she has really been putting on some weight here at the end. Her buds are deceptively dense and spear shaped. As the calyxes swell so do the trichs. Really interested to see what she smokes like.

Well after splitting the Girls up due to space it’s looking like the HPS Ladies are almost ready looking we’ll ahead of LED ones also buds are fatter with HPS but would say the LED ones look healthier looking if that makes sense

Well I decided I had to pull the plug on this girl with all the weird weather we've been having. I've been pulling yellowing fan leaves off her for a couple weeks now and with our 2nd heat wave and all the smoke & ash thrown in for bad measure... it's been truly weird. Yesterday was a day for the record books around here - it was so dark I could tell my pets were spooked. Even they knew it wasn't supposed to be this dark in daytime. Probably how animals react to things like a solar eclipse. If they haven't got somebody nearby to reassure them of some sense of normal - the alarm bells start going off. I hadn't really gotten the impression this girl was all that fragrant during the flowering process UNTIL I was washing all that ash off her this morning - then I was like - WOW this stiff is pretty intense in the nose. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that the sun ain't coming out for a couple more days the ways the smoke be flowing around here. We'll see. Two more plants on the patio but they aren't far behind. September 13 >> Debudded the Widow late this afternoon to make space in my shed to harvest Jack Herer in the morning. She was still a little moist as I harvested her 3 days ago - but it hasn't been that hot. The smoke is still hiding the sun and the atmosphere is labeled "unhealthy". Hung her up in my front bedroom to finish the drying process. I should note the passing of reggae giant (many say inventor) Toots Hibbert, of Toots and the Maytals last Friday. I went looking for some pics of the last show I saw him at and coincidentally it turned out to be one year ago today, September 13, 2019 at the Independant in San Francisco. I was lucky to have seem him a few times. So I uploaded about 30 seconds worth of Pressure Drop from that show. RIP Buddy. 😪 ====================================================== September 21 >> Finished hand trimming the Widow yesterday while mostly listening to the last round of the US Open. In September... while they're playing Stanley Cup playoffs too. Very weird time.... both these things normally happen in June every year. The buds weighed in at basically 8 ounces (227 grams). The trim came in at 325 grams - and in this case I use the Trimbag - although I don't think she was really dry enough to get proper function outa the bag. I still spent over 6 hours hand trimming the remainder AFTER the Trimbag in this case. It wasn't really a problem because I had like 10 hours of US Open coverage for 4 days to burn thru. In the process of turning all that trim into hash at the moment... because I'm all configured to go at the moment after making Wonder Pie hash last week. I'll stick it in the garage to dry for a few days and add the weights later. One thing I've noticed that's probably pandemic-related is 90% isopropyl alcohol has become very hard to find (haven't had to look for like 6 months because I had a couple bottles that lasted). I've used it to clean my glass bong/dab rigs for years. 70% is there - but even that now it's like you have to ask for it. Heya Growmies, this week was pretty eventful first off, the plant is in flowering in full force and doing really well despite a lot of user error throughout its life! I mentioned last week I was going to do two things, the plants last major defoliation and turn my DWC into a 2 bucket RDWC. I have managed to get around to both, I am always anxious when defoliating, scared of taking off too much but this time I really pushed my comfort zone, let me know what you think. before, in my other grows, I have a lot of larfy buds, I dont want those, I want tight, dense small nuggies, I think one of my bigger problems back then was defoliation amount, I just left too many fan leaves. RDWC.... Let me just say that I have proven to myself this week that I'm not destined to become a plumber, in my first iteration the drain line was too small, causing the pump to overpower it and overflow the plant bucket, I changed out the hose for some 50mm pvc tubing, which worked wonders, for the first few hours I sprung leaks and had to pull my plant out during her dark period to fix it; no bueno. All is well right now though, no leaks and everything is circulating nicely at 500 liters an hour. I could probably get a bigger pump, but its fine, I'm going to stop tempting fate. From here on out honestly, theres not much more for me to do other than go into the garden, pull a fan leave here or there, check flowers for nanners and balls and adjust the water. It's on cruise control now Stay safe out there growmies, keep growing!

I’m seeing some issues in some plants. Not stacking and look nutrient burned?

Strawberry gorilla from fastbuds buds has a great gorilla smell with a strong fruit smell that’s just like strawberries no lie. The plant doesn’t grow super tall but it does stack colas really nice. I didn’t grow the plant out as big as possible but it has big colas as long as half my are and smaller nugs all over that were the size of a fist. A great producer. Buds are spongey perfect for drying easily.

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

Hi everyone ! i was away this week, so i full the 2 tanks before i leave, and ask to the room mate to adjust pH each day and add only tap water when the level drop. when i come back home again, some leaves turn brown and dry on the edge 😢 and the leaves are all curled down. i don't know if it's due to overdose, pH fluctuation, etc ... Do you have any ideas guys ? Edit : I bet on Mg carrency
