Week 6 of flower for Lemon Orange by greenhouseseedco 1 of the phenos has a bad sulfur deficiency which was too far gone for me to fix so shes lost most of her fan leaves unfortunately. My favourite pheno is starting to fade a little purple, while the buds just look as good as they could. The 2 slower phenos likely still have 2/3 weeks on them to go while the quick pheno ill be harvesting this weekend coming at week 7 Looking a little sad as i had took these before their water time.

These took off finally. Two very distinct differences here. 4 total. 2 look exactly the same. 2 runts looks exactly the same. Turned light up to 60% at about 3 feet. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. The grandaddy black is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

Day 14 of FLOWER/ day 63 of grow: Starting on day 9-10 of flower we started seeing those first little white hairs coming out.. around day 12-13 buds have actually started forming and almost every plant now is in that stage of growth kosher Kush #1 (front middle) had a Little bit of problems with nutrients and pH so after fixing that last week the plant itself started to takeoff almost done stretching so now we’re actually starting to see those bud sites starting to grow! The BlueBerry by Seedsman was definitely a Wild Card .. it is still stretching ! Today I’m going to go in and do some LST/HST but honestly I’m not too worried about having equal light penetration on the entire canopy because I have so many full spectrum LED’s I can adjust and move the lights as needed for full light exposure to the other plants. I’ve been starting a new feed and they seem to love it ! The dry amendments are starting to dissipate and you can tell that the plants are getting hungrier and hungrier ! After feeding them .5 gallons of feed within 12 hours they are itching for their next feeding. The smell in the tent is a very Kushy smell with some skunky undertones from the washing machine.. I’m using my own kind of support for these flowers because I didn’t want to go through the haste of a Scrog net it almost felt too crowded and it was just asking to snap a branch. Instead I’m using 4 ft long wooden poles and running them through each other creating a scrog pattern! So far so good with this set up! (Experiment): with the blueberry clone I have just left it a little bit to the side and it has exploded at first it was about 1 inch tall and was barely growing anything.. after moving it into the 12/12 tent it has stretched over 10 inches tall with about 8 to 10 bud sites honestly I’m quite excited to smoke on her!! PS I’m doing the entire cycle in a solo cup! This is the third monday. The girls still look healthy, I gave blooming nutrients for the first time as the schedule suggested. The Attack of Gnats: Inside the tent there is a huge fan, which was unstable, if I tilted it too much, so I put a 20litre soil bag (with some cheap shitty soil for decorative flowers) at the base of it to make it solid. As the tent started to warm up, the soil was warm ask well. After a couple of days some gnats mysteriously appeared in the tent. First there were only two, but now there is a whole army. I bought a "special" trap for them, it came in a pear shaped plastic dispenser with some sort of "killer liquid" that will eliminate the enemy. As soon as I opened the little container with the liquid my first idea was to smell it. Surprisingly the smell was familiar, and I smelled it before in salads. I asked my girlfriend, and she immediately told me, that this killer liquid is nothing more than Apple Cider Vinegar. I searched google, and I found out, that you can make very effective gnat trap at home by using apple cider vinegar, sugar, and dish soap... This costs you almost nothing, because you can find everything at home. Learning every day.... :) Now there are only a few more gnats left, but I will kill them in the following days. 🙏 Namaste

Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over. This creates a strong pressure differential, which will work wonders with mass flow. Replicating high and low-pressure fronts in nature. Critical for oxygen diffusion at the critical time of peak cellular respiratory function.. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. The grow was a lil unique was able to give it very low strength neits the whole veg. Stayed overall short during vegetation, but boomed once it went into flower. Turning out to be a tall pheno. Flower cycle was a total of 67 days, including a flush of 14 days and lights off for 2 days. Finished product was very long fluffy nugs stretching down the plant. Does not do well in heat at all, ideal temperature is between 60°-70°. Towards the end of flower cycle best to get humidity and temperature as low as possible to bring out the purple hues and bulked nugs. A perfect strain for cold climents or LED lights. Recommended for the connoisseur seeking a sweet change 👏💯

Day 83 she’s looking beautiful and bulking so fast. The time is coming soon. I can’t wait. She is looking fabulous. Just keeps chugging along. She will begin the ice flushing process soon and she’s so damn heavy she’s being held up.

This week was a great one, lots of sun and gave the plants their 2nd transplant of the cycle. only one left to go in a few weeks, the plan was to do 3gal but I feel it would be best to go upto 4gal a 1extra gallon will not be all that much extra root space to expand into. Will have to check if they even make them in 4. I have a feeling its only 1,2,3. Root wise they are looking similar but not identical. I would say the Dynomyco treated plant has a thicker rootball and more of them. but not by a massive amount. More white on the Dynomyco treated plant as well. added in some more Acti-Sol into the transplant medium. same mix as before. Then watered in with some LAB Serum. should do the plants well. I did not add in anymore of the MIIM microbial mass product as I thought it might alter the results of the grow. so we will see how they do now with out it. I'm really liking how well the plants are bushing up. I might have to take some clones and try them indoors as well. I think I prefer to grow more indica leaning strain for their growth habits.
