On the 6th and 7th of March we transplanted plants from small pots to the big ones. As a base we used wet coconaut with perlit (70/30). Unfortunatelty, during the transplation we lost one 'Mexican Airline' plant— La Mujer (yes, we gave her a name). Now we have only two Lemon AK left in this diary. Their names are Josya (diminutive from Joseph) and Moishe as we «circumcised» them accidentally when transplantated to pots week earlier😵 Now they feel themselves great .

Day 50 (First Grow): "Hey everyone! Quick update: we transplanted the plants, and they’re settling into their new pots nicely. 🌿 Just a quick recap from last week: We've named all the plants, making it easier to track their progress. We've set up a SCROG (Screen of Green) net to help train the plants and ensure even growth. We're monitoring the humidity levels closely with a hygrometer and considering adding more fans to improve air circulation. Exciting news: we’ve added a new member to our grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name. We decided to get her to help with pest control naturally. Praying mantises are excellent predators and can help keep unwanted insects away from our plants. Feel free to suggest a name for her! Any tips or fun facts about keeping a mantis in the grow tent are also welcome! Day 54 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our plants have developed a nearly complete and dense canopy, and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Now that the flowering phase is starting, we’re excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this phase? Let us know in the comments!

Dieser Versuch läuft verdamt gut. Sie wächst relativ schnell und scheint jetzt dichte Buds zu bilden. Was mir nicht so ganz gefällt, sind die unteren Blätter. Es scheint, als wäre sie sehr hungrig. Aber das war die Sorte in den vorherigen Runs auch. Die Blätter Farben sich bei ihr immer ca 2 Wochen vor der Ernte bunt.

As I expected these girls were ready to get into their new homes. Did some defoliating of dead leaves and topped it for the first time but plants have bounced back well and are on the up and up. Also my new veg light came in so I made a switch from the SF-4000 TO THE MARS HYDRO FC E4800. This light spectrum is incredible and this will be my new main veg light and the SF 4000 will be used during flower. Really pleased through the first 3 weeks.

girl, from the beginning she was watered with water from the tap, the value of which is almost 350ppm. and a lot of lime, which prevents me from growing it bigger, but I'm happy with the result :) it's a small pot and only 50 w :) the flowers look very beautiful and sticky :) super ​

Still not flowering but she’s gaining height , by the end of next week if no signs of flowering I will accept that she is a photo plant . I am more confident she is a female 🤞🏽. Finding this seed has got me well into it now. Thanks to all you guys , you have given me plenty of info ,have got another two plants started which I will start a journal for soon . She did well but the main problem was under feeding. She just wasn’t getting enough water from which she suffered tremendously as the growth through the vegetation was almost at a standstill. The plus side is that she is quite resilient.

After two week recovery from the heat.

10/27 - Today is technically day 28 since germination. I would normally wait three more days before doing this update, but enough has changed, I figured it warranted documenting it early. Today I did a solution change to half-strength week 3 guidelines per the Dyna-Gro feed schedule from their website. This gave me a ppm of 740 total, including 170 ppm tap (measured using Hanna Primo .5 conversion). This gives me 570ppm (1.14ec) of nutrients. The solution was changed about four hours prior to their nap time (of four hours in length). Shortly after the lights came back on I noticed this discoloration on her roots (as shown above in picture and video). Both ladies in the video were given the exact same solution at the same time and now show noticeably different ppms (Sour Diesel Auto - 770ppm; Amnesia XXL Auto - 720ppm). I'm not sure why they are exhibiting different reactions to the same solution. She doesn't seem to be showing any other negative effects at this point. Root growth is phenomenal and her vegetation has only accelerated since being topped. Just slightly concerned about what to do with the root issue. I have thought about adding Botanicare Hydroguard since the smaller buckets will run slightly warmer in temp. Once they start drinking more, I will bump them up to 5 gallon buckets, but that's not needed at this time. Any advice, questions, or observations are very welcome. This is my first DWC run and first run with Dyna-Gro. Edit: 10/29 - Added 2ml/gal Botanicare Hydroguard as a precaution regarding her potential root issue. Res temps are mid-seventies, so I'd say it's a safe move and some relatively cheap insurance. Edit: 10/31 - PPMs kept increasing up close to 800 from the original 740. Added pH'd water to dilute right close to 700ppm. Would have diluted more, but that was touching the bottom of the net pot. Removed two main fan leaves that were actively shading new growth nodes. Added second Mars Hydro SP150 and raised both to 18" above canopy.

Week 8, the last feed! Defoliated to let more air flow and light penetrate down into the lowers of the plant. Bud's are insanely sticky, plant is covered in frost, the pics don't do it justice.

I started by soaking the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hrs, next I switched to the paper towel method and kept them in a tupperware container with the lid attached and sprayed with water for 24 hours, I planted them 7am today 9/29/21.
