I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! My little experimenting already bears fruits of knowledge, I've topped too close to the node without leaving a bit of stem, and whilst tying down the branch during LST, I had a gnarly stem split. However a cool head, some grafting tape and a day of healing and this rugged little plant picked herself right back off the floor and shot up inches overnight! More and more pistils are shooting out and this plant is stretching so much, as is typical of OG strains, my last autoflower is nearly done, after which I will put a trellis net in and this lady can have the entire place to herself!

G13 is starting to stack. She is growing good in the Athena blended line nutrition, under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. I am running a little strong on my solution mix. I will likely do a change in next few days if it keeps showing me signs of too much. It does look like it is getting better though. The plant is just getting bigger, and using it. After two power outages that caused low temperatures in the tent for 2 × 9 hours at 15–17°C, the plants recovered very well. Colors are starting to appear in the tent, the leaves are turning red! It seems to be on the right track — the buds are swelling and the smell is strong!

This week i started to let them sleep outside inside a small greenhouse. The sun has been shining most of the days and the ladies have been praying alot. With two cloudy days, i cant complain. Although they seem smaller then they would be indoors, i like what i see. From now on im gonna feed Biobizz fishmix and bio heaven.

Lemon Cake & Lemon Drizzle Week 5 This week 5/5-5/11 Germination April 6. Vegetation Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and TPS1 increased ppm to 570. Week 4 continues with recharge and TPS1. I added Fox Cal mag increasing ppm to 685 - 805. Week 5 TPS1 9ml/gal Recharge 5 ml/gal Fox Cal-mag 5 ml/gal This was an exciting week for my ladies. It started out with the usual feed and defoliation and training. With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. Our summers are hot and humid with frequent thunderstorms. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Lemon girls both had mutations at germination. Lemon Drizzle split ot topped herself. This creates two main plant stalks. The primary and a smaller secondary stalk. Lemon drizzle has stretched above the scrog top opening up her structure. Today she has an erratic top canopy in multiple levels with multiple bud sites. Interesting her nodes have for this week started to develop off set from each other.
