Some problems have appeared with my beloved plants. From my research, I have poor air circulation inside my grow tent, which wasn't surprising. When I set everything up somewhat haphazardly, I knew I would need to fix it. I confess I'm dissatisfied with this week; some plants are stressed, nothing too serious, but I noticed a slowdown in 3 Baker's phenotypes, some gnats have returned, another insect I've never seen before has appeared, and I'm somewhat short on resources to deal with it. I also had a serious problem with the electricity, forcing me to completely improvise the electrical system and exhaust fan to work without a ventilator. Anyway, enough bad news. I'm still in my first run, but I'm learning from my mistakes!

The girls are starting to get really heavy, we may be forced to cage the rest for support, we couldn't move them much this week for fear of them collapsing..not recognizing or stopping the runaway stretch soon enough has come back to bite us..lesson learned about this strain.. the canopy is terribly uneven lol, we're just kinda letting them do their own thing at this point, we did drop 1 of 2 lights to accommodate the shortest of the group. Week six all the plants have been doing very well. A few of them have suffered some broken tops because of me but other than that doing well the leafhoppers have been doing their best to do some damage but nothing major and the hole seem to be holding water very well I’ve been minimally watering only about once a week just a couple gallons. They seem to be retaining enough water, giving them their boogie brew tea every seven days and their pure protein with soluble seaweed every four days that’ll be the schedule till the end keep on pulling them down and stretching them out trying to get those branches to level out and grow more tops upwards. These plants this year are definitely larger than my previous ones, which surprised me I started these a little later, but they are much taller and growing much more vigorous than the last and the last were very large so high expectations for these week six everybody’s doing great. ..

Day 62: time to flush! Flushed her with canna flush once so now for 5-7 days I will just give her plain water with ph- She looks so nice! But way to much nitrogen in her This is the light that I’m using for this grow! Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness. AAAnd there you have it. A nice experience, my second time making seeds! I harvested the first day of week 15. A lot to say about this experiment. It came out awesome, lots of seeds (more than 100!) Wich I also tested and came out with the exact same phenotype. I added some more pictures of the outcome and of the seeds, cause I don't have much more data about the harvest! Hey Cannafam Happy Monday 💚 The past week has been one of stark contrast for my gal compared to the one previous, if theres one thing the UK weather can do with consistantly its variability! Its been raining everyday this week with only one afternoon of Sun and thankfully/gratefully it has also been Sunny this morning 😊 Tempretures have dropped significantly and for the 1st half of the week we were looking at 14c daytime and 10c at night, Friday - Sunday were all 16c Day and 10c night and today weve got extra warmth at a heady 17c 🤣 Daylight length is currently at 16 hrs 18 minutes. Growth wise shes doing really well, her 2nd set of leaves have a slight mutation and are webbed a bit like ducksfoot, which interesting but not a point of concern as the next tier has come out normal, and shes just started her 4th set, her side branches at each node are just starting to peek through. Shes not had any feed or great white this week due the free continous rain water. Shes also has a few markings from some sort of flys which were shoed off of her earlier today but nothing major, and considering shes been chronically overwatered for a week shes looking really healthy 😊 The weather from the reports is looking to be a bit better for the next week, so hopefully she'll have a bit more Sun! 🥒 Project Blue Tent – Week 4 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Pheno A (Folder 14A) Hello everyone, and welcome back to another update from Project Blue Tent! 💙🌱 For anyone joining this journey for the first time, this project follows four individual plants, each documented in its own diary from seed to harvest. Although every plant shares the exact same environment, nutrients, lighting, and care, each one is given the opportunity to tell its own unique story and reveal how its genetics express themselves. Today we're catching up with Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Plant A. ⸻ 🌱 Week Four – Recovery and New Beginnings Last week marked an important milestone when Plant A received her very first topping. This week, however, was all about patience. After performing a high-stress training technique, I always prefer giving the plant time to recover before asking anything more of her. Rather than continuing with additional training, I simply let nature do its job while carefully observing how she responded. Sometimes, the best thing a grower can do is... nothing. Looking at her now, it's safe to say she appreciated that decision. The recovery has been outstanding. The two new leading shoots have quickly taken over, growth has remained vigorous throughout the entire plant, and the side branches are now pushing with much greater determination than before. The change in architecture is already becoming obvious, with the canopy beginning to widen naturally as the plant redirects its energy away from a single dominant tip. It's always rewarding to watch such a dramatic transformation from one small cut. ⸻ 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Consistency continues to be one of the biggest priorities inside Project Blue Tent. Stable environmental conditions allow the plants to recover quickly from training while encouraging continuous vegetative growth. Average conditions this week were: • 🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C • 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative humidity: 67% • 🥥 Root zone temperature: 24°C • 💦 Nutrient solution: 18°C • ⚗️ pH: 5.8 • ⚡ EC: 1.88 mS/cm • 💨 CO₂: approximately 450 ppm • 💡 Light schedule: 18/6 With the Phytonaut LED providing an even spread across the canopy, the plants continue receiving all the energy they need while maintaining compact internodal spacing and healthy vegetative growth. ⸻ 🥥 Feeding Adjustments As mentioned in the previous updates, all four plants developed a slightly lighter shade of green during the last couple of weeks. Although their posture remained excellent and growth never slowed down, I felt they were asking for just a little more nutrition. Rather than waiting for deficiencies to appear, I increased the base feeding slightly. Current nutrition now consists of: • Plagron Hydro A — 1.8 ml/L • Plagron Hydro B — 1.8 ml/L • Plagron Hydro Roots — 1 ml/L By the end of this week I was already beginning to notice a richer, healthier green returning to the newest foliage across the entire tent, suggesting the adjustment was exactly what the plants were asking for. One of the things I'm really enjoying about growing in coco is how quickly the plants respond to small, measured changes. ⸻ 🌿 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Plant A This phenotype continues to impress me every single week. The recovery after topping has been remarkably smooth, and it's already clear that the plant has shifted into a completely different growth pattern. The two new main leaders are developing beautifully, while the lower branches are accelerating as they receive more energy than they would have under normal apical dominance. Instead of growing upward through one dominant stem, the plant is now beginning to spread outward, creating the broad, balanced framework I'm hoping to build before introducing the SCROG later in the grow. The stems continue to thicken nicely, the internodal spacing remains tight, and the foliage has maintained excellent posture throughout the week. Although she's still carrying that slightly lighter shade of green, the improvement in colour over the last few days is already noticeable, and her overall posture tells the real story. Leaves are praying toward the light. Growth is continuous. The plant simply looks happy. ⸻ 🔍 Looking Ahead Next week should be another exciting step forward. With the topping now fully recovered, I expect both new leaders to begin stretching more aggressively while the side branches continue filling out the canopy. For now, I'll continue allowing the plant to develop naturally, avoiding unnecessary stress and simply monitoring her structure as she prepares for the next stage of vegetative growth. Started off week 6 off by adding 5ml of Flying Skull Z7 to reservoir and adjusted reservoir PH to 6.0. I've got the blumats nearly dialed in and keep making small adjustments every 24 hours. I am holding off a few days on the nutrients to see what the plant tells me. The clawing seems to have improved(combo of over watering and not getting runoff on hand watered nutrients I believe). When I apply nutrients going forward I will make sure there is plenty of runoff so I don't repeat the same mistakes. 😬 on day 2 I applied 1 gal of nutrients and watered until runoff. On day 3 I defoliated the bottom of my plants to improve the air flow. On day 6 I added 5ml of flying skull Z7 to the reservoir. I noticed a possible calcium deficiency on one plant so on day 7 I applied my 1 gal of nutrients with the addition of calmag and silica. Ive only used calmag once growing in coco and it burned my plants...so I assumed there was enough from my tap water and nutrients. I know this goes against all advice.. I think it finally caught up with me LOL.LIve and learn to buffer your coco. Next grow I will buy buffered coco and use a calmag product 😅 I defoliated the center of my plants to increase airflow and expose light deeper into the canopy.

GMO × Triangle Mints BX – Week 16 Veg | Heatwave Incoming, Drinking Even Harder She's now at 135cm and still climbing, with day temps already hitting 29°C this past week and nights staying mild at 15°C. Watering volume has doubled again — 10L per feed now, up from 5L last week. At this size and in this heat she's pulling everything she can get. Did another round of defoliation this week, clearing out some of the larger fan leaves shading the lower bud sites. With a canopy this dense, keeping airflow and light moving through the lower half matters more with every week — especially heading into a stretch of hot, still air. Canopy remains dark green and even across the board — no deficiencies, no stress signs, just steady bulk and structure. The earlier LST work continues to pay off in how clean the light penetration looks through the mid canopy now that it's been opened up further. Nutrients unchanged: CANNA Aqua Vega 4ml/l, CalMag Agent 1.1ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1ml/l. pH 6.2. The week ahead is looking like a genuine heatwave — highs around 34°C with partly cloudy skies, lows staying mild near 19°C overnight. Going to need to keep a close eye on watering frequency and root zone temps if this holds. At 17 hours of daylight she's got plenty of energy to put into growth, but heat stress is the thing to watch for now rather than cold. Updates every Sunday. Stay tuned. 🌿

Hi everyone 🤗 This week the two Kosher Tangie Kush were harvested by Amsterdam Genetics 😍. extremely good phenotypes. The blue cheese pheno 2 and 3 were placed in the darkroom according to the video. These were harvested yesterday, from which the pictures will come in the next update :-). All others need 2-3 weeks. I wish you lots of fun with the diary, stay healthy 🙏🏻 and let it grow 🌱

30/08/2025 - tenho vindo a regar alternadamente com água de garrafão e água da torneira que deixo descansar ao sol por 24h, acredito que esteja a ter um problema no EC da água mas não tenho medidor de EC. Vou comprar para a próxima run pois nesta já está muito tarde para mexer ou ajustar seja o que for. Mas de qualquer forma vou tentar esmiuçar com o que tenho para entender melhor o problema. Vai dar um fumo excelente, o cheiro está muito forte, formação de tricomas. Obrigado a toda a comunidade por me ajudar com as minhas questões. Ajudaram imenso. Estou a adorar a experiência de fazer este diário ! Obs: Com a ajuda da comunidade acabei por perceber que o problema pode ter origem em vários fatores, como dito em cima (sem medido de EC) palpito que seja o Ec da agua que tenho colocado, fiz um calculo e o Ec da agua e são cerca de 130-150uS/cm, o que por si só é muito aceitável. No entanto a composição da agua é: Ca2+ 1.5mg/L Na+ 25mg/L Cl- 19mg/L HCO3- 47.1mg/L Conclusão: Ainda teria de verificar o Ec do runoff dos vasos, mas sem medidor é-me totalmente impossível, deste modo as possíveis causas que encontrei seriam 2: o uso excessivo de chás aerados, pode ter aumentado demasiado a sacarose do solo e com isso a vida microbiana que por si só aumenta o Ec do solo, outro possível problema, que para mim será o mais provável, é a composição da agua que rego, tem uma quantidade de sódio relativamente alta (mais de 10 mg/l), sódio é um dos piores elementos em excesso no cultivo, não é um nutriente essencial para a planta (serve apenas em traços), compete com K, Ca e Mg nas raízes bloqueado a absorção, e acumula-se com facilidade no substrato pois não é consumido pela planta. Por ultimo, as quantidades de Ca e Mg são relativamente baixas o que pode criar um défice destes nutrientes com ainda mais facilidade nestas condições. Quando regado com este tipo de agua o ideal seria fazer um runoff em todas as regas de 10% (como um leve flush), para evitar acúmulos de sais no substrato, coisa que quase nunca fiz ao longo do cultivo. Vivendo e aprendendo :D MAIS UMA VEZ, OBRIGADO A COMUNIDADE GD.
