Week #16 GSC By KANNABIA SEEDS Week #5 Flower This week half way through the flower stage. You can really see the trichomes and orange color in the buds to the purple contrast in the plant this week. I had a bit of a tough 2 weeks in my personal life and forgot to track and post... Things have changed quite a bit and the ladies are in full flower. My next run I am definitely opting for 40 Liter grow bags because the difference is night and day... I have moved them from the small 250w setup to the bigger 720w setup... So let's see what happens in the next few weeks

Im changing the parameters im not happy with the speed and health.

The extended hours of light is crucial this time of the year or else she would be flowering already. Her is slow but sure.

Waiting on some Xtreme Gardening products to arrive. Will give her some azos and mykos next feed.

Just started this one off... Not much to say so far. This is a coco grow. I started off with an amended Coco using Gaia Green 4-4-4 and power bloom 2-8-4.

She's moving along into flower and I've started using a little bloom nutes now that the stretch is tapering off. Took off a few fan leaves that were blocking some bud sites and removed some lower growth that wouldn't make much more than underdeveloped larf. She's definitely crowded in the tent, but she's continuing to go through her paces and should stay on track. She's starting to effervesce and it's a sweet earthy note with a more skunky stem rub. Lets see where this week takes us!

Aaaaaargh :( Was trying another bloom booster this time and overlooked the fact, that the PK proportion was just too high at this stage for my nutrient solution to work well for the plant. I immediately changed the NS, but it took me a day to notice. Should have not only scaled the PK in the new NS, but the whole Ec for the better.

Hey everyone 😃. Week after week, both phenotypes become more beautiful and beautiful 😍. Pheno 1 is clearly my favorite color klar. Let's start the week: Flowering day 49 Both plants were checked for health and the trichomes were checked with a microscope. (70% milky, 20% amber and 10% clear. Flowering day 50 Today both were poured with 1.2 l each, of course now without any sewing material so that she would use the rest until the harvest 👍. Flowering day 51 Today both were checked, the humidifier refilled and fresh osmosis water filled into the tank. Flowering day 52 Both were checked for their health and in the end time for mold, everything looks great 😍👍. Flowering day 53 Again 1.2 l per plant were poured and the trichomes checked, it will run out for about 10 days before it comes to harvest. Flowering day 54 The humidifier was refilled and the tent cleaned. Flowering day 55 Again both were carefully checked, osmosis water was filled in the tank, and everything was cleaned. 11/6 Fed and watered. Each took a full gallon. 11/8 They are really drinking up the water. They were dry already so I watered each with a full gallon. 11/10 Watered each with a full gallon 11/13 Watered and fed each with a gallon.

Day 89. Looks like they are not ready yet. Not that much amber. Only the Purple Haze has a bit more.

I go into the local Hydro store and the previous owner happens to be there. We talk about my novice grow and I mention the "Calcium" issue as I show him a photo.... He immediately asks me " Are those pots on a concrete floor? Because if they are, your roots are getting cold making it look like a calcium issue".... The new owner gives me a nice slab of styrofoam from an old box to put on the floor of my tent as I go home. I sick my BlueLabs PH soil pen in a drain hole at the bottom side of my pot and HOLY CRAP its only 17c and the PH is 5.2 !!!!! I take the plants to the bathtub and flush them with clean water PH'd to 5.8, about 8L of rinse per pot. I check initial run-off and its a whopping 2300ppm/50!!!!! I also remove some of the effected fan leafs in hopes I dont get some sort of plant illness. A day later I do the same PH test, PH is 5.8 and temp is 22C...all is well again. I should have paid attention to growing saying...make sure you get run off checks.

Week 19 of Vegetative Growth (Transition Week – Pre-Flower Move)** This week marks an important milestone for the Pineapple Upside Down Cake: she was finally moved into the tent where she’ll spend her entire flowering phase. She’s not flipping yet — this stage is all about controlled acclimation before the real show begins. Up until now, she was growing under a 5000K blue-leaning veg light at low wattage, which kept her compact and focused on structural development. Inside the flowering tent, the lighting is completely different: a full-spectrum 3500K panel, warmer, broader, and naturally more stimulating. A spectrum switch like this can easily stress a plant, especially in late veg, so the intensity was intentionally reduced to 300 PPFD to give her a soft landing. Temperature conditions also shifted: about 21°C during the day and 17°C at night, with the light set to 25% power. It’s a cool, stable environment — ideal for a plant adjusting to a brighter and wider spectrum. The second key topic of the week was training strategy. Her growth was accelerating fast, and the debate was wide open: Should she be topped? Should we go for a scrog? Should we prune more aggressively? In the end, the most coherent choice was a clean LST session. Her main branches — roughly ten apexes — were gently bent and opened to create a wider, flatter canopy. This approach keeps stress minimal while giving her a solid architecture to handle the upcoming stretch. Over the next few days, she’ll naturally stand back up, and once she does, her true structure will become clearer. At that moment, we’ll be able to judge whether she needs extra shaping: a light defoliation, selective pruning, or even a late top if it really makes sense. For now, the plan is simple and strategic: • monitor her adaptation to the new spectrum, • watch how she reacts to the LST, • keep the environment stable, • and only move to flowering once she shows full vigor again.
